I say YES! You seem to want to change but I know that the cycle is hard to break, especially alone. (I am undiagnosed as ED-NOS, self-diagnosed really, but have certainly fallen into hard to break cycles of binging and purging or just binging.) Is there a sibling, counselor at school, a school nurse, or even a teacher you can talk to? If your parents seem to not care, if it quite likely they do not truly understand (COE and BED, as well as their related characteristics, are not necessarily easily recognized by anyone uneducated on the subject.) One of my best friends first sought help for anorexia from the school counselor, who then helped her arrange a meeting with her parents (and the counselor, of course) to discuss further treatment. That sort of sit-down was exactly what her parents needed to stop saying "Oh she's just thin/picky/etc" and say "She's asking us to help her, and we need to help her."

Have you spoken with a nutritionist? It sounds like you may need to speak to one about proper re-feeding.
Best of luck to you! |

I work for a women's workout/outdoor sporting company. Two of the merchants are 34DDs. One has good luck with Nike vests and jackets, both like Pearl Izumi as well for being roomy enough for comfortable movement without bulk. A bit spendy, but very well worth it! Hope that helps some, good luck! |
