| Hi,
Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents, hopefully it's worth more than that;) I really lost weight fast when I would work out at night. I worked front desk at a hotel in northern minnesota and was really inactive at my job, especially during the week. I would work 3 to 11, get off work, eat, and then work out. I think it revved up my metabolism, after being lathargic at work. Now, I workout in the morning, and work at a hotel in Minneapolis and am very active at work. I really have a good outlook throughout the day having worked out in the morning, and because I work out in the morning I don't have all day to talk myself out of working out. |

I am the same way. There's something about a piece of toast with fat free cheese and half a tblspn of butter to make my stomach not grumble. I work out every day, and I give myself a treat right before I fall asleep, but only if I have stayed within my calorie limit throughout the day. |

| That is true, what happens is the body starves and not only eats fat, but also muscle. The really, really thin women don't have any muscle if they're starving. There are those women who appear to not be eating, but in actuality they can eat whatever they want, and still are very skinny. They have high metabolisms and can't gain weight if they tried. The ones who are starving just to lose weight, and don't have an eating disorder that will eventually put them in danger, are the ones who will gain it all back if they go back to the original way of eating. They could lose all the wait by being unhealthy, and then become healthy by counting calories and doing everything that is suggested by all of us on this site.

| cshammas00 you are luckeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I used to drink a lot of wine and margaritas. Not realizing that one 32oz margarita was 1500 calories, and that wine was 90 calories for just 4 small oz :(
Now I drink rum and diet cokes. For 2oz rum in a drink is only 128 calories. 2 of those and I'm good, then I workout on the treadmill and burn 380 calories, so problem solved. Hope my post helps. |

I weigh myself everyday in the morning. I like to do that so that if there is a difference that I don't like, I can change my routine accordingly right away. Also, I don't think I could wait a week to weigh myself if I tried;) |

I am trying to get down to 150lbs, I have 37lbs to go. Then I will pat myself on the back. That is the thinnest I have ever been. Then I would like to be 139lbs by this January. That's only 11 more pounds, and then I will maintain. Altogether 48 more pounds to go. |

I have been good since that bad day when I was really feeling defeated. You helped to Spurr. I think you are nice people. I had 1250 calories yesterday, no working out though. I worked out today and 1500 calories. I'm feeling great. Talk to you soon. |

| fidget84, I know what you mean. When I have a day off, I struggle with snacking. Sometimes if I'm over my calories by late afternoon, I figure what the heck. I have learned to not beat myself up about it, because it only happens once in awhile. Also, because I have an 800 deficit of calories daily, when I do go way over I never gain a pound I just maintain. | |||

| It only matters that you don't exceed your calorie limit, and that you don't eat after midnight. Midnight and after would go towards the next days calorie needs. Do not weigh yourself in the morning after you eat late though, you won't get an accurate number. Also, when I'm eating late to get my calorie needs met, I will eat wheat thins and low fat cheese with mustard. Try to keep what you eat healthy and light late at night. | |||
