well I've actually gained 8 more pounds since then. and I am compulsive about it. Not good. I have decided to put on some warm clothes and walk to the market instead. As long as am out of the house and moving somewhere I'll be find.

hahaha, I don't know. I just like how it all mixes together. Opposed to having PB first and then a layer of Jelly. so I big mix of both is how I like it! I also like the open face sandwiches. I can enjoy the goodness of PBJ more.

What about trying to go in the morning? I enjoy going in the morning because i get it out of the way. Sometimes is hard to get up, but once you get in routine it feels great.

I'd love to swim. That would be the best idea, but no pool around me. 

I'm going to punch the bag. get my anger out about my knees!

 

But what about the rowing machine?

Yeah, I just got new walking shoes too :(

 

But there is a one bag. I'll give that a go. and I'll hop on the bike just to see how it feels. 

 

But I guess I really need to focus on recovery and food intake

yeah 15 is a stretch. Im not trying to kill myself, but its something Im hoping for. If it takes a month longer, well then it takes a month longer. 

I'm doing my best to make good food choices. That's going to be the key factor I agree, but I do also try to get out walking even if its not intense and take the stairs when I can. 

 

I'm just trying to get some ideas, but not over do it. I want my knee to heal!!!

I had to find this post. I am in asia and I cannot poop. I'm about to go on a search for laxatives and prune juice. But it was helpful to read what others had to say.

so here is what I have concluded..... I love boxing! I went for 2 classes yesterday. I said if I could go 2 hours, I'd join. That was until I found out they only do yearly memberships and they take out +100$ from your account to pay each month. That doesn't exactly work for me. A) way to much money B) I'm only here for the summer, then gone for four months. 

Im going to finish up my free week at the ring and enjoy it. Then buy a boxing dvd. I hope my gym at school puts the punching bags back up.

Same as you. I was doing it 4x a week as well. and it would be great to look more lean and defined. and stress relieved.

I'm just trying to find something I enjoy. So far I like both a lot. Just a money issue. Of course it doesn't hurt to tone up ;)

Whether you are a hardcore gym goer, every other day goer, or just a person who walks to work, you need to get the correct shoes for you. Cost not being a big contributor. There are pretty decent running shoes that are not so expensive. And I know when I go to shaws, on the back of my receipt is a 20% coupon off at city sports, so you just got to look around!

There cheaper and just as expensive as buying a new pair of running shoes.

 

So the pair i have my friend won at trivia night and got my size (i was not there) but I actually think I need a one size bigger. it feels a bit tight on the achilles and when i take them off i have those lines when circulation is cut off. but i love them.

I dont know if i should run in them today or my running shoes.

I started about a month ago and try to go atleast 4 times a week. I enjoy it and feel really good after. Although I haven't see any results in terms of toning, lengthening or weight loss. I'm doing the positions better

This sounds like me, but I don't like it. I don't know how to really eat more without feeling sick and i'm gaining.

I got my pair!!!! and so far so good. I took them out for a run. I was scared at first because I forgot my knee brace, but then just went. I ran 2.5 miles in them with no pain anywhere. They day after I was very sore. but I have been wearing them everywhere all weekend. 

 

they are really cool. Go to a shop and try them out.

I saw 2 people at my gym wearing them. I really wanted to question them, but instead I looked them up. City Sports sells them, so I'm going there to try them on soon I hope! But maybe I can find them on amazon for cheaper. 

 

I agree about having a pedicure sponge between toes -- had one yesterday!

Thanks - I'll go to the store after work and buy more protein and things to eat - not just fruit - and I'll be a bit more careful of not going below the amount needed.

for weights my primary target is arms. so i try to do various stuff for them. bicep curls, dips, push ups, triceps kickback, rows, shoulder press, rows in the plank position, dumbbell chest press. also squats and lunges. and finish with abs.

I know. I lurk around at times. try and find tips and what not. I love going to the gym whether for weight lose or not, so I don't plan on giving that up. But I'll try to eat a bit more. aim more for 1500. Maybe its not losing any weight, but just getting ready for the summer time.  But there are also alot of adults that are in this weight range and are fine.

im 21. I eat between 1100-1500. I drink coconut water, starbucks iced coffee or a half a bolthouse juice as i go to work. I bring breakfast lunch and snacks to work. kashi cereal, yogurt, berries, luna bar, bananas, apples, trail mix, carrots/peppers and humus, etc. for dinner my salad consists of spinach, peppers, tomatoes, avocado, edamame, mushrooms, walnuts or almonds, tofu. i'll cook salmon or take out sushi (once a week). When I do eat out on the weekend, I always choose seafood or salad/soup and always get the smaller plate. and I try to have somethings every 2 hours.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. 

I tried to change up my workout by adding Bikram yoga to my usual cycling and running routines. I started a few days ago, but today was impossible to focus and balance. 

 

I know one of my problems is that I sit at a desk all day.. i never really more. I work in an area where there is nothing around. 

Well I hope people comment to give help!
