Another successful day at the gym! I made it out of bed at 5:00 am for a 45 minute workout today! Next week I am aiming for one hour! Target areas I want to focus on are arms, abs and butt and thighs! :-) |

Hi friends! This week has been horrible for eating... I have been SO busy and that is no excuse so fast food invaded my life. Luckily I have noticed that I dont feel great when I eat it. This week I have made a mini goal to eat NO fast food for 7 days straight. So far I am doing well. This thing means No coffee from Starbucks or java city. I am going to do fabulous! Tomorrow is my weigh in and I dont expect much. I have been getting in at least 15 minutes of exercise every day but today got in 40! yay! see you all soon! |

YAY! Welcome aboard! Even though you have had knee surgery congrats on working to get back into shape. I too have gained a lot of unnecessary weight and want to get back down... I have been doing VERY well with the water challenge. Wednesday is my report day. I have been consistently drinking 64 fl oz every day :-) It has helped me cut out a lot of the sodas and I am down to 1 or 2 per day! yay!

WOW great stats makphl! You are such an inspiration! Great job and I am so proud of you! I have been a member of calorie count since April of 2007 yes 2.5 years and loving every minute. I did FABULOUS for a few months but in April 2008, I found out I was pregnant and went on a hiatus. I am just getting back into it and could DEFINATELY use the bond I had with other CC members. It is so inspiring! I have a difficult time managing my time and finding NO excuses... That is something I am really really going to work on this time around... I have to find time to work out. At least I know that I work out best in the mornings! :-) This is going to be a great challenge! I know that I will be a good participant in this challenge so you can count on me! :-) |

How awesome that DH and you got out and did some exercise together. I dont like working out with anyone when I work out because I am so focused! haha We should do a challenge again. We should start out and get ourselves back on track through that. I loved participating in challenges with you all. i was so motivated and it really helped that I had others who I talked with and competed with in a good sense. Other challenges I participated in no one really got into them like we all did together! Anyway, just a thought. I don't do well on the weekends so much either. Every sunday is cheeseburger sunday so having a regular cheeseburger isn't horrible, its the fries! 500 calories for one things of fries is CRAZY! Anyway, we just have to go in moderation... I think if you work super hard, limit soda intake (if you drink it) and really work out this week, I think you could be in the 170's again. I mean, he is going to be impressed that you are doing well and everyone fluctuates, as long as you don't let it get out of control you will be fine. Just think, 2 years ago you were in the 200's and he was worried for you, now he is going to be proud that you are taking care of your health! |

Hello Friends! I promised I would write later so here I am :-) I have been doing okay. Not great not horrible. i have been keeping mental notes on my eating but exercise is so much more difficult with working around a child's schedule. It is something I am working on. I did make it to the gym today. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical machine at resistance 8! I was sweating like a maniac! Today was cheeseburger Sunday so I did have McDonalds but that will be it for the fast food this week. I went to the grocery store and bought groceries to eat healthy this week. I am going to be going to the gym this week in the mornings when I don't take Ethan to daycare and in the evenings on the days I do. I love working out in the morning and getting off to a good start. I was just thinking that I need to fit into a wedding dress in exactly 11 months from today and I would like to be between 165-175 by then. TOTALLY doable! How was everyone's weekend? Mine went by too fast :( I am thinking about doing the 30 day shred tonight! |

Im here Im here! I have been SO busy at work this week I haven't been able to log on! LOL I have been doing well :-) I get in walks and what not when I can with little man but I think financially i am going to have to cancel my gym membership... It isn't feasible right now but later on down the road I might be able to do it again. Luckily I have you all to hit up about working out at home and doing fun things!
Fourth was so much fun :-) I will post pictures of little man soon :-) Gotta run I will post later tonight |

Sounds So awesome to me! I may cancel my gym membership and just use my resources around the house. DF and i thought we could save the money toward a gym membership and get an elliptical. We want to eventually have a home gym, so if we save up for the pieces, then that can happen :-) Have you heard of the 30 day shred? I am going to be doing that interchangeably as well... I have heard nothing but rave reviews of it! I hear for 20 minutes, its a full body workout! I also want to get into yoga and pilates... They just sound relaxing.
KT come back! I am missing you and I want to get the 411 on the wedding! :-)

I have been doing really well with Logging my foods... I hate that it holds me accountable, but in the same, it is good too! i did not do well yesterday at all... I was EXHAUSTED when I got home, no excuses today is a new day but No, i didn't make it to the gym last night. Tonight, I am definately going, already have my gym clothes packed and in the car.
I am going to shoot for the same exercise goal as you... 1250 minutes is a good starting number and i am going to increase it by 100 every month! We can push eachother...
I have been drinking a lot this summer too... It is so nice to have a cold beer on a SUPER hot night, or a margarita, or a spiked southern tea MMMM That is so exciting that KT is still doing triathlons! that is amazing! Where is she now? Did she end up getting married and all that fun? I told DF that I wanted to do a marathon in the future :-) he said that I should go for it! Were you able to go to the gym? How was your calorie intake yesterday?

I am starting the 30 day shred today... This is my first time partaking in it but it gets RAVE reviews so I am all for it. I also have an arm, butt and thighs video I will interchange with it, but I really want to do 30 day shred for the full amount of time without any stop days... :-) |

He was doing fine until all of them came in at once... now he is very winey :-( and on top of that, the other day, he had to get shots and was just plain miserable last week! But, overall, he is such a good baby! I know isn't it weird that i sprained my ankle on the rower? How random is that!!!???? I was strapped in and i puled back to quickly a few times and my ankle twisted and it got stuck that way, I tried to walk it off on the treadmill but it just wouldn't budge... At least up to that point I got 30 minutes in!
Upward Spiral... I know ALL about those! I REALLY need to focus on eatin better and not givin myself any excuses... that is what kills me... Even if I do a light workout, I HAVE to work out, I have to get into the mode again... Once I am there, it is easy. Eating healthy is hard too now more than ever... You are into participating in races now? that is SO awesome val! great job! What are your stats now? How do you plan on getting back onto the wagon? What are your goals for the month of July? My plans tonight are to hit the gym after Nathan gets home. He has class and wont be home til 8 so I will get to the gym and do mostly strength training tonight with a light cardio warmup. I really want to get into yoga and pilates and am looking into the classes at my gym :-) I can't wait to try those, I have always wanted to get my flexibility back! |

I am so happy you guys remember me! I love talking about my little man... He was born on 11/22/08 at 8:44 pm. He is so awesome. he is the EASIEST baby in the whole world and so so so happy... He just got 2 teeth and his two top teeth are coming in now. He is sitting up and ALMOST crawling. It is wonderful! He slept through the night IMMEDIATELY, within just a week or two. He weighed 7 lbs 4 oz but I couldn't breastfeed so he lost a whole pound and they almost had to readmit him to the hospital. I delivered via C-Section after 30 hours of Labor and 15 hours without any meds. Anyway, he is the apple of my eye! I made it to the gym last night and got in a minimal workout, 30 minutes before I sprained my ankle on the rowing machine! I know, of all places! I am going to hit the gym tonight after hubby gets home from school so he can watch the baby... Lets get back on track together Val! |

I guys! I just wanted to let you all know that I had my little boy on Saturday via C-Section because I just wouldn't dialate past 4 cm:-( I am happy to have him in my world! I topped at 245 lbs (gaining only 32lbs total). I had a lot of water retention that I got rid of and hopefully, my weight loss continues! I am sad I wont be able to work out as soon as I had hoped but I am aiming for January and if not January, February! I am still creating my goals but I am happy to be back in action, at least with monitoring what I eat and when! I have to stay healthy for my little guy! Plus I am breastfeeding and that alone burns 500 calories at least! :-) I miss you all!! |

Hi friends!!!! I just logged in after a LONG time... Just wanted to tell you I miss you all! Baby is getting so big but I am not! LOL i haven't gained any weight since April... but I weigh 218. That is the highest I have ever weighed in my whole life... but... it is worth it and I know in 5 months I will be back to my normal schedule of eating within cals and working out. I actually haven't worked out since April either because i was cramping in the beginning and docs wanted me to take it easy. I find out if I am having a little girl or boy on July 22... still feels so far away.... but I miss you all soooooooooooooo much and can't wait to get back in here, full swing. You will all be in maintenance when I return but i will be returning.... please feel free to email me ANYTIME... amannisto86@yahoo.com to keep in contact. you are all so wonderful! |
