R u doing the same workout... You may need to change your workout up a little. I had to change my often to get my weight to roll off 2 years ago, and i am sure i am going to have to change my workout programs in a few months from now myself. But right now i am just happy if i lose 2 to 4 pounds a month.. I want my weight loss to say go for ever this time so i am learning how to do this the right way.

       &nb sp;               &nb sp;      Understanding the BMI is a very hard thing to understand. I had went in for a workout appointment. We got to learn what our BMI was.. I got all my measurments done too. I have been  rolling up and down with my weight loss, and it's not always as good as it sounds. I learn all about water weight gain, gas and bloat gain, body waste gain, sodium weight gain, and so much more. But what really shocked me today was when we did the BMI test. My BMI is really 32%, and i am still on the heavy side. I checked the BMI for a person of my height and at 150, and it putmy BMI at 29.4 on the internet when i got home. Because that is where i got my BMI from the get go.. From a BMI calculator online. Those things are no where near right. They are so far off... I have a lot of muscle mass in my body all ready, and i am so glad to have learn that... But what gets me all upset is.. Most of my Muscle mass is really in my BUTT.. Yeah i know.. Not to good.. But anyway. I got all of my measurments from the Medical Mall today, and i was really happy with what i got.
I went from a 17" Calves to 15.5"
I went from a 36" Thighs to 33"
I went from a 54" Around my Hips too a 51"
I went from a 40" Tummy to a 36"
I went from a 15.5" Arms to 13.5"
I went from a 15" Neck to a 14"
I also lost 1 inch in my face when it was 2 inches.
I still feel like a fat face lady, but those are just my feeling.

BMI only is good for learning where is your body fat range

The ones on the internets are all wrong really they are.  Youhave to check into all of the other things that has some type of mass. They can't use this system to tell you what your BMI is with out doing a real test, because your bone mass- muscle mass- has it's on weight and factor in what your real weight is.. You could have the perfect BMI, and your BMI can be lower than what it really is. What they do is put in a tub of water, and it weighs your fat, and only your fat.. It really works...  That is really what the BMI really means. ( FAT MASS) but really esimating the body fat mass.

If i was you, i would talk it over with my parents and have the test done, I think you are around 120 pounds, but i really don't know... But you BMI is not at a risk number, it is at a healthy weight. I would not worry about that... Just enjoy summer and the beach if you live near one.. You are at a healthy body weight range.

We do not have a cut off date.. Feel free to drop in anytime...

Now i have a question for you all.. Have any of you had the real BMI test done... If you have not, you really need to find a gym that does it or a health care provider and get it done.. I mean really, we can't go by what the internet says.. It is not real what we are getting.. But brace yourself when you get it done.. You will be in for a shock.. My BMI is just......32%. I wish i new what it was before i started this post.... But the BMI thing on the net is not always right. I know i am just 196 pounds, but  that will still have my BMI on the heavy side 37%.. So go and get the real test done..Your BMI may be a little low or a little high.. Just give it a try.. YOU may like what you get..

Shape7-- Have you had your BMI done yet. I mean the real test.. Give it a try and have it done... The truth about our numbers is what we really need 2 know.. SO give it a try, and get on there scales too.... My scale is 3 pounds off, so i want use it anymore.... I am just using it to see if i went up or down a little... All of this should matter you know.. SO check into these things..

Me too, I really hate cooked broccoli too... I loved my cooks veggies.. Did the Beano, and there was still gas.. I did that when it first came out.. If it's better than before then I will try it..
I just really hate it when i feel this way.. GAs is not my friend... Never have been.. No Heart burn at all.. But i feel like i am a big blow fish.. The gas is killing me..

Badbeck, I do that bite and drink some water after that bite, and it really works.... I mean really works.. It helps you feel full right a way. I am feel full within 15 mins or sometimes less. I have learn to give myself 20 to 30 mins to eat my meals.... When you sit down to eat it helps you relax, and when you are on the go go go.. You rush it down, and don't taste a thing.. I love doing my meals like that.... I really have to stick with the program.  But it really works for me... I love it....

No-- YOu can do what ever you want to do.... It's just all you are doing is dancing for 15mins to a hour a day.. Or when you can fit a little fun in... I walked and danced down the street yesterday, and man on man........ I felt good, and people looked at me like i was a fool, but i was doing this with my hubby walking right behind me.. It was pretty fun.

I am toning up doing the dance.. My wasit is a 36 and i am pushing for 32.. Weight. I do not know. I have not weigh in over 1 week or so now. I am trying to break myself from the scales a little.

But yeah... Join us. I love dancing

Ramble on, I really understand your feeling on the binging. What does your diet look like? I mean really...... R U cutting every thing you use to eat out. When you cut every thing you are use to eating out.. You sometimes find yourself junking it out for a few days when your Tummy says it wants something really yummy in it. once you have that 1st taste. You can't fight it. I have a weakness food, and that is Taco Bell.. I don't eat there at all. I don't care to go there. My rule is.. No Taco Bell for me. I had to cut that out. I can't have it any more. Reason why is because. I had to learn i can't eat just one Taco.. I can't even do 2.. I had to have 6 hard Taco's and not only that... A Taco Salad. Extra This and Extra THAT...

My feelings on The 4 to 5 day bing is something deeper.. Or.. You are really eating every thing your body hates, and it's not use to it.  Me.. I love to eat the right amount of food. I really love to work hard on eating right. I don't over eat food any more. That was hard to learn...

But TB is one of the places i am so scared of right now.. I started my diet the middle of March, and i have lost some weight, but not enough to make me get naked and walk around yet.. But i have lost enough weigh to where i am proud of myself.

You will not binge again, and just pray when you feel you are.. Not only that. I had to learn this for myself.. Learn to eat what you want on your plate, and be done with it.. Take your time when you eat what you are eating, and learn how to get bites out of things. And don't take the manly bite all the time.. Make sure you drink something like water or diet drink.. It really helps out a lot. I know this for a fact. It really works for me.. Give it a try. Enjoy your food........ That really helps out a lot.. ENJOY is the key.. I had to learn that the hard way.. I was not even tasting half the food i use to ate. I would inhale the food i ate.. And that was not good, and my tummy would feel just like yours do now.. You will be ok.. I am a friend here for you.. I got you on my BUDDY>.. I hope this helped you a little...

I felt just like each and every one of you.. So far i have not gotten on the scale at al lately.. Reason why is because. I have been watching the scale a little too much, and was getting upset because it was not moving for me. I have to just keep my mind on what is important to me, and that is my health and learning how to do things right.

SO! What i have been doing is...............Keeping my eyes off the scale, and looking at the way my clothes hang and fit on me now.. They really fit loose, and not only that.. They don't hang like they would before i started my diet..

When you start to watch the scale you worry about every freaking thing you put into your mouth. I watch every thing for 2 weeks when i first started my diet, and i was on the scale not once a day but 2 times a day. I was thinking.. If i get on the scale in the morning.. That is my normal weight, and then when i get on the scale at 8 at night.. I will see where i had put on 3 to 4 pounds sometimes, and when i weigh the next morning. I was either the same as the last or the same or a pound liter than i was the other day.

Trust me.. Keep up with your workout plan, and relax.. The more you stress the more stress weight you will carry..That is what i feel. I wish you the best of luck.. Lynn

Yeah Mariamck, I was thinking that would be a great way of getting rid of the fat clothes. I am not going to take mines to any where.. If i was to do something like that.. I would have a I am giving it to you for free yard sale.. Hey.. Now that i think about it.. Hummmmm....... My kids grand mother church gives clothes away every year to the pubic for free every 2 to 3 years.. Hummmmm... I may ask her they are going to do that again.... I went one year for my little girls and got a lot of clothes for her.. She loves yard sales my daughter does, and the word free. LOL.... Now she is looking for fat free treats and other things that has the word free in it.. My teen is funny, and she is fun to be with..

Hi Dona, I really don't know your pain, or how you feel.. But that is very deep what you posted.. You know i don't know... Just like you kinda know how we OVERWEIGHT People feel a little bit inside.. WE all have ED. SOME eat too much, and some of us eat  just enough, and then you have you.. You worry about every little bite, all the way down to the crumb.

Now i worry about every little bite, and i am counting cals.. But i am  going nuts over it, but sometimes i have to pray not too.. Some days i eat very little, and i have to catch myself. I want to be healthy and thin but not really thin.. But a good weight that don't have my BMI yelling at me you are still FAT.

I know you have a eating problem. We all do.. We all do.. I don't care about what people say.. But you are at the right place.. We all are here to help you.. But i have a question for you.. DO you love yourself like that..

I learn to love myself fat or thin.. Look at my profile... You willl see i've been all kinds of weights over the years.. It's not good to be yo yoing up and down like that. But i do it. I have taken every diet pill on the market.. They say this work. Or they say this is great.. That stuff don't work. You sometimes have to lock it into your mind, and want it for you.. SO now I am working on me.

I don't know what to tell you.. But i do know i can be a friend and here for you when ever you may need me.. I don't know what kind of pain it is to be like that. But i do know i have the same pains with a different tale.

I pray you can beat ED.. I battle with my own ED demon myself.

On days like this.. The weekend.. I give myself a few cheating cals... I give myself 300 cals extra on my weekend.. But not every weekend.. Every other weekend me and the girls go out to applebee's, and i always have a muncho.. I think that is the name of that drink. But it is really big, and i always go for one of them, and one only.. But  we go and get one tray of food, and share it, and we each have one drink.. That really works for me.. But I always have me a salad before i leave to meat with them, plus i don't have a heavy dinner on the nights we do that. My dinner is the small salad.. That really works. I have not gained a pound doing that. And we have been doing this for 2 months now.. It works for me..

Hello everyone, I am so sorry that i have not posted in a few days.. Boy when your PC goes nuts you go nuts too, any way guys and girls, and my blessing me every day with her thoughts SHAPE7 how are you all doing. As of now i am great, and i am taking it one day at a time... I am doing something new.. I am not weighing myself for a week.. Mindy, No Prob..... I was just saying what i heard.. No big deal, and you are right.... She is going to have to find her moderation too..... I know me and white rice don't mix, because i would love to have mines with sugar and butter.. Adding other white stuff into the mix.. Lots of the white stuff..... But i do love brown rice, and chinese, and i have that once a month, because i know i can go over board with that kind of food.......... One of my weakness...

Well mindysmith.... I don't eat white rice.. I eat brown rice once a week, and I do feel great about it.... I just cut out all my white foods, and when I did that I started to feel a lot better.. My first week on my diet was great.. I lost 7 pounds in a week.. I didn't even give it a try.. But this is not a post to say what is what.. I just don't eat white foods, and some chinese people are fat.. But that really don't matter.. It is all about this person.. I am not telling this person wrong.. I am just stating what i heard.. I may be wrong, but every ones boby map is different.. I willl like to say.. You have to watch how much of it you eat a week.. Is that better..

I really don't know how many cals you are taken in.. But i will give you a tip... CUT OUT the white rice... I read and also heard on the oprah show.. CUT OUT the white foods.... It has nothing. It is not rich in nothing.. It is just plan..

What you want is. Wheat breads, and lots of veggies, friuts and grains... Meats:  Fish and skinless chicken...  DON'T eat fried foods.
Another Tip.... When you eat a chicken sandwish.. Cut out the top bun and eat it like it is a pizza... You will cut cals down that way..
Another Tip.... Jelly.. Get Sugar Free Jelly if you are going to have a peanut butter sandwich.. Because there is a lot of cals in both.. You don't want that and the bread.. Alone with that sandwich.. You have to be taken in over 410cals alone.. Just with that.
2% Milk is good to have.. I have this book, but i can't put my hands on it right now.... But i am going to buddy you and tell you where you can order one from online.. It helps me out a lot.. You can find them in the book store calorie counter books.. You may want 2 check one out... See if it is something you want to buy.


Breakfast: Cereal and 1 cup of fruit cocktail-260cals
Lunch Tuna Sandwich Half with a small salad-255cals
Snack- Whole can of Fruit Pears-210cals
Dinner- Big Salad with chicken 400cals
My Total- 1125..
I try to stay with 1100-1300. I only go over the 1300 on my treat days. Read the food labels too, and go by that... Measure your food... Go by what the label says.. You will learn how to do it.. I am sure.. Sorry for the long post.. Just being a friend.. Are you a newbie... And if you are--- Welcome...

Ok all of these are great.. Do any one of you think i can add one every night before bed.. Not one of each.. But you know.. I don't want to add them every night if i can't control it.. So far...... I have been having sugar free can fruit every day.. But when i need a sugar treat.. Jello is one or ice creme... All of these things sounds so great girls.. Thanks.. Keep them coming..

YOU want to know what mines is.. Mines is. EQUAL.. I hate reg. water.. That stuff is nasty to me.. I ALSO PUT A LITTLE LIME IN MY WATER, and that really works.. As long as my water has some favor. I am good to go, and i will drink just enough for my day.. Sometimes a little more.. That is what works for me..

If there is no EQUAL SWEETER around. I will not drink a drop of water.. SO that is my MOTIVATION 4 WATER.. EQUAL.

I AM LIKE A KID. I CAN DRINK SUGAR WATER AND BE HAPPY. BUT IT WORKS FOR ME..

Glinda, i know what you mean about that. My hips is what keeps me from a lot of things.. They are so wide.. I think my hips will never get to the rest of me..  My upper body is small.. My lower body is wide like a mac truck....

But i am working on it. I love these hips anyway.. As long as i lose the gut and some of the butt.. I will be HAPPY! And i am losing the gut. Now i have to trim down some of these hips.... JUST A LITTLE.

Thanks I am a power walker and runner, and this really works for me... 3 miles a day last year i was doing, how i am working my way up to 1 and a half mile a day.. I am working really hard on this.. SO thank you..

Hey Girl that really does work.. I did that the first 2 months of my diet last year and got over 38 pounds off my butt with just a few toning tricks and a few walks, and a good 30 mins of dance every night before beed.. Then I would look at myself, and I would tell myself. You will not feel hungry for the rest of the night.. Not until after your morning work out.... It worked so damn Good I think I brain washed myself.. I am a joker you will see that now.. I joke a lot to keep the sadness down..

But Girl.... I am going to go back to doing that.. Just what you said.. Because for real.. The weight runs off you like a duck in the rain. I know for real.. BUT I know what the key is... I wonder does any one else know what the key to that...

Think it- say it- become it.
