Thanks to everyone - I really like the office workout that ryanrocks suggested - they make me feel like I'm doing something positive for me and not just working for my boss - make me feel good about myself - now if they pounds could just come off.

lol

I feel really pumped up - this website has really helped me today.  Friday got bad news at work so instead of trying to eat my way out of the slump - I took my anger out on weeds in my flower bed and shoveled dirt and made another flower bed.  I also put on my clothes this morning and I believe they are tighter this morning so after the encouragement that I got by reading this - I'm gonna have to excuse myself and get my bottle of water to drink.  - everyone keep up the good work and please keep writing - you never know who you are helping - you might even help your self.

Crying tears of joy

Hello ya all - hope you dont mind but I have add each and every one of ya to my friends list.  I have had the great fortune of being Hyperthyroidism - stuffing my face silly at 11:30 and then hungry for dessert at 1:30 and weighing in at 135 and 5-11.  It was great but knew something was wrong - was that a mistake.  The dr said that I had Graves?s disease (hyperthyroidism) - I took a radiation pill and killed my thyroid.  Now at the age of 29, 3 kids later - I'm weighin in at 275 and on 400 gm of Synthyroid.  All the dr that I've seen have said that my levels are "normal" but I'm gonna read some of the things that all of you have suggested cause I think there as to be something else.  I'm a farmers wife and love working on the farm and in the garden and I have three little ones that I love running around with.  I'm soo glad that this is here and you are all here to talk to and help.  Everyone keep up the great work.

Howdy ya all-

I would love to join - currently at 275 and need to lose allot.  I am a totally eater - eat all the time no matter what.  I need allot of boost so I think that this is the place I need to be.  I am ex-hyperthyroidism patient so now I believe that I'm a hypothyroidism patient but my TSH levels are "normal" but am on 400 mg a day, which is outrageous.

Please any support that I can get - I need.  I feel soo huge and miserable.

Congrats to everyone that has lost.

I'm not the only one - jumping up and down for joy!!!!!

I had hyperthyroidism and they killed my thyroid with radiation so I'm also on the pill.  It took the dr along time to get my levels correct but currently my levels are good.  They told me once they killed my thyroid that it would be 3 times harder to lose weight but I really had no I idea, so 10 years  and 3 kids later - i'm sitting at 5 ft 11 in and weighing a whopping 275 and trying like heck to loose it.  Tell me that it can me done.  Please tell me something good.

Just about everyday I'm kicking myself in the butt for killing my thyroid - it was great having hyperthyroidism - I could stuff myself silly at 11:30 am and by 1:30 I was ready for any thing sweet and looking great while doing it - 5 ft 11 in and in size 10 jeans.  No wonder I had 3 kids - ha ha
