Mine's probably around 600.  I only ever eat oatmeal or cream of wheat.  But I LOAD it with peanut butter.

Well, i just finished my bowl.  It wasn't really all that chocolatey.  It was ok, tasted fine, nothing special, and not something i'd buy nesquik to do again.

All my campus store had was chocolate Nesquik.

I suppose I'll let you all know the results after breakfast tomorrow :)

Thanks, guys! I doubt my campus sells sugar-free pudding.  But I guess I can at least try little jello pudding cups if they've got 'em.

How about fresh fruit instead?

For some reason, I am not too fond of fruit in my cream of wheat because I like it all a smooth consistancy.

How about with money and health reasons aside, would it taste ok?

So, how long do the results generally last on average?

I've always wanted to try it, but I can't justify the cost of going to a professional to myself, and I also don't think I'd be any good at doing it to myself.

Thanks, both of you.  I guess I was just basically wondering what the effects of getting too much protein would be for me.  I went ahead and looked it up on some sites online, which is what I should have done instead of expecting you guys to do all the work for me.

I'd say go for the veggie burger.  You're already doing a lot to make it a healthier option and cutting cals quite a bit.  I doubt the salad will be as satisfying, especially if you love the veggie burgers. Plus, it's a date :)

Weight Loss Eating timetable Mar 25 2009
00:40 (UTC)

My breakfast throughout the week ranges from 7:30-9:30 am, lunch from 12:30-3:30pm, and then dinner ranges from 5:00-7:30pm.   But this is just due to varying class times at university.

What I grew up with (and what i prefer) is breakfast whenever I wake up, lunch between 12-1, and dinner at 6.   I'm never hungry at night after dinner no matter how late I stay up.

Do you still need more?

I think food and lifestyle is the biggest source of conflict between my mom and me.  She eats like a bird.  She'll have a (small) bowl of cereal for breakfast, a diet yogurt and some peanut butter crackers for lunch, and usually a normal dinner, but sometimes she'll eat nothing but a bowl of veggies.

I've never eaten like she does.  I like legitimate, decent sized meals.  But if I ever were to eat a lunch she didn't see as being "big" enough, she'd flip out and accuse me of trying to not eat.  If I said the same thing to her about her tiny meals, she'd get so mad.

I did end up bordering on anorexia my senior year though.  and i found it interesting to think about how my mom eats so little, and how my grandmother has been legitimately anorexic her whole life.  She weighs 90 pounds at the moment.  I never realized it, but I guess I did pick up on the importance my mom places on maintaining a low weight.  I see girls who weigh 20 pounds more than me, and I think they look fine and healthy.  It's just hypocritical that I'd be miserable if I got up to that weight, even though I'd look fine in many peoples' eyes.

Cereal, definitely.

Just last night I ate 3/4 of a box of Kashi GoLean Crunch.  Oh lord, the fiber! My stomach is not too happy with me today.

I feel ya! Let's not forget honeycombs!

Honeycomb is actually really low cal for a cereal.  I think the serving size is 1.5 cups or something?

I also used to eat dry oatmeal packets.

I took them to school and ate them at lunch with a spoon.  I endured horrible tormenting from my friends.

as many have said: cereal.  It's my absolute favorite food over everything, and I never allow myself to have it :(

Also, hummus.  There is no amount of hummus that I could eat and then happily say "That was enough."   I've eaten huge tubs with nothing but a spoon before.  Now i have to buy little Sabre cups one at a time.

It stops hurting after a while and if you do it often enough.  With my first boyfriend, we had sex very infrequently because we lived apart.  Honestly, it never got to the point that it didn't hurt to have sex with him.  My boyfriend now lives near, and after having sex more frequently, it doesn't hurt anymore because my body is used to accomodating it.
