OMG!! I just started physical therapy 2 weeks ago and I did the foam roll for the first time. Oh, it hurt so badly that first time. I am begining to realize that it is not the enemy and really feels good afterwards! |

Thank you everyone for your responses. I guess I should have been more specific when I said marathon. I am doing the 1/2 marathon on Dec 6th. I do not want to end up with a worse injury so I think that I will be stepping back a little. I have gotten used to getting up early to do my workouts so I am trying to modify. I thought that a 1/2 marathon was too much too soon and a few people around me said "you can do it" "dont quit". So I kind of put the pressure on myself. :-( |

I do not force myself to slow down when I am eating. BUT, if you have done it, and I have, it works. When you are eating and you do the sigh (everybody does when they have had enough) then you know you a close to being satisfied. Works for me everytime. |

Thank you all for your advice and stories. I have decided to not focus on my weight loss. I have 8 weeks left of training for the 1/2 marathon. At this point it is to simply- complete it. I think after that marathon though I will slow it down, do just 3-4 miles a day, less per week and concentrate soley on my weight loss. Thanks again! I appreciate it. I never knew how supportive runners were until I started running! |

| This is my 3rd week. I am going to do RIU this week and next. So starting week 5 I am going to be brave and give it a shot. I am scared to death. I havent even watched it like I usually do to see what Im headed for. Im feeling good overall. Im not doing the six day diet but I am doing something similar that a friend gave me this week. I think the calorie total was very close to 1200.
I really enjoy the new Calorie Count site. Its nice to see the pictures next to the names, it makes it a little more personal. My daughter(she's 8) thought that she could exercise with me the other day. She looked so uncoordinated. Especially on the stand up crunches. I wonder if I looked that bad when I first started. haha. | I am very tired today. Couldnt get myself to do the videos. I pushed myself very hard Monday-Wednesday and I think I burnt myself out today and needed rest. The first time I ever did SI6 I dont think I was doing the moves right cause this time I am focusing and feeling it. I hate it when she looses count to haha. LMAO. But I always do feel so great when I finish because it is an over all body work out. | |||

| I say welcome to the group. This is only our 2nd week. Its up to the moderator though. I also wanted to say that you are right about just doing it. I made it a point to get up this morning. I didnt allow myself to just lay there. However, it took me another hour to start working out. I did RIU last night so I didnt want to do the video so early. So, I started little exercises with my arms and then did the Ab video which I love. I wanted to keep going after that so Im putting that energy into cleaning my house (GAG)Later I will take the kids to the park and play a little ball with them and then do my video tonight. Making myself do it is the hardest. Once Im doing it its easy. | |||

| I did my first RIU last night. I have done it in the past so I knew what to expect. I really focused on getting the moves down right. It felt good. And amazing how different the exercises are when you do them right. I did the extra ab video this morning and will do RIU tonight again. Its pretty hard to stay motivated. But that dress I have for my cruise is not forgiving so I dont have a choice. Is anyone else having a hard time staying motivated. Its also pretty hot here in Las Vegas!! | |||

| I binge when I am stressed! These last 6 months have been the worst of my entire life and I have put on 10 pounds. Before this big disastrous event I was down to my ultimate weight of 132 and now Im back up. Its not only discouraging cause of the 10 pounds but also cause Im having a hard time staying focused. As soon as I focus something else in this train of events sets off the emotions and I dont know how to turn it off. Fruit only goes so far. Gosh, how does a person just get the motivation back???????? | |||

| I am very sore after 3 days of SIU. Walking up and down my stairs makes me laugh cause I dont want anyone to know how much every single step really feel. LOL Those muscles that were sleeping are definatley awake now. As long as "Auntie Flo" doesnt get out of control this month it should be well worth the pain!! | |||

| I only intend on doing the SIU for 3 days. Then for the rest of my first week I will alternate depending on how I feel. I would do it until you are comfortable with those moves cause there are lots more in the next video!! Take your time and try the RIU. If its too much then alternate. | |||

| no pills here either. I thought that the SI6 infomercial on TV was a little misleading. Especially when you call and they offer you all those pills and programs. But for me it is all excersise. I cant wait until tomorrow morning. Good luck to everyone. | |||

| I must say that I did the same thing. I got on the treadmill as well as doing the videos and got burnt out quickly!! So take it one day at a time! Maybe do one in the morning and the other at night. Are you doing the stretches?? | |||

| Just a quick question, I was supossed to start week 4 yesterday. I woke up with some major back pain and again today so I took it easy and didnt do the videos. What would you guys do? Would you just pick up where you left off or would you just wait and start back at week one next week? I feel like I have blown the whole point in the program and am a little disappointed but my back is hurting and I dont feel that excersising it will help it any. Thanks! | |||

| You do SIU for a few days to a week until you are comfortable. The program then says to do RIU for week 2-4 and maybe 5 having week six be all BIU. I am on week four starting tomorrow and I am going to do RIU. Next week I am going to mix it up to get used to BIU and alternate days. Its just really your own comfort levels. There are more plies and squats in RIU but not tons so if you are comfortable with the rest of SIU you should move on to RIU. | |||

| Tomorrow is my last day of my 3rd week. I am tired! But I find that when I dont do it I either feel lazy or like I am missing something for my day. I have lost 1 1/2 inches off my stomach in the last 3 weeks and about a 1/2 inch from my thighs. I love the workout on my legs and stomach and hate to work out my arms. I dod not buy the supplements for this program though. I am a lifetime member of weight watchers and have a pretty good eating habit(except for that time of the month!!!) I started this program at 140 pounds and am now 137 pound. My goal is to be between 125-130. Do you think that the supplements are the key to this programs weight loss? Cause they asked me how much I wanted to loose when I ordered it and then offered me a million different products that would have costed me what seemed like hundreds of dollars. | |||

| I would say that if it was too hard for you to do a modified version of any of the excersising. Take your time, or march in place. It does get easier. My legs were so sore the first week for 4 or 5 days. I am on RIU and my stomach feels it the most. I love that part. The good part is that she breaks up the excersises. By the time we get to the band resistance phase I am very relieved!! | |||

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
