This sounds like a lot of fun! I'm due May 5th, 2010. I'm really worried about weight gain during pregnancy. I lost all my motivation to eat healthy almost a year ago and I'm so scared to end up at 300 pounds! |

| Hope it's not too late for me to jump on in. : ) I'm going to try and get some exercise in here. I'd like to start by walking my dog for a half hour before I head off to work. And maybe add in a half hour of strength training. I'm at 212 pounds right now, and by the end of the month would like to be around 206ish. | |||

| I did my first run of my 2nd week today. It was actually pretty hard. My lungs are still pretty beat up from just quitting smoking a little over a week ago. I finished it anyway. I've only lose a little over a pound so far. Kinda dissapointed a little in that, but I'm still doing my running anyway. | |||

| Personally, I've noticed that when I run, I lose weight a lot slower, and in less amounts, but working out regularly, I tend to lose more. Although as of right now, I am in fact choosing to run anyway. I guess it's the whole "slow and steady wins the race" idea. | |||

| Hey hey hey. : ) I'm back on here. I've gained a bunch of weight, and miss running like crazy. So, I decided that on Sunday, I would restart this. I'm not sure if I'm doing mornings or afternoons. Mornings would be easier, but I have such an issue getting up early. But then afternoons, I'll be running after work, and I'm gonna be wiped out. I never thought that I'd miss running as much as I do, but it felt amazing and I was in such a great shape. I'm ready to kick myself back. Wish me luck everyone. | |||

| I currently work at McDonald's. I've been here for 10 months now, and have put on 20 pounds. My friend has gained like 40-50. It's hard for me to eat healthy because of it. The only healthy thing I can get for free is a side salad, and that isn't very filling, so it sucks. I'm going to try a bit harder though. | |||

| I know exactly what you're talking about. I hate it. I'm so self conscious about it. I have them whether I'm clothed or not. It's my main area that I'm trying to fix up, but I've just got to be patient. It'll go away slowly. Although where you have the most fat, is the last place that's going to go. I lost 50+ pounds and I lost around 10 inches around my waist. | |||

My goals for today are to not get into the jelly beans again. Exercise for an hour. Drink only water at work. Take a walk after I get back from work. Eat healthy! I puprosely gave the jelly beans away...so I accomplished that. I exercised for 45 minutes. Close enough. I only drank water at work. I didn't take the walk though. I ate mostly healthy. I had some candy, but it all fit in. |

| Shanfood- I'm in this with you! I was a runner on here as well. I started running, and then I quit. I am actually on the graduation list. : ) I'm so proud. lol I wanted to restart this, so I guess we can motivate each other. I'm starting tomorrow. It's going to be strange running the 1 minute to 3 ratio again. I had actually gotten up to 45 minutes of straight running. I miss it so much. I actually have dreams of running again. I really feel like this was my calling. I miss how amazing I felt after my runs, how in shape I was. Good luck with your running! Lets keep each other posted alright! This forum needs to get more people again...it's so dead and sad. : ) |

| I picked up running a while back, and did it for about 3 months. I loved how it made me feel, and how fit I became, but I had the same issues as you do. I got bored with it quickly, and stopped. I actually did the learn to run program on here. : ) It works really well. Right around the time that I quit, I was running for 45 minutes non-stop, and I know that I could have easily done an hour. Try that out. Now, that you've brought it up. I want to start it up again. I just need to see if I can get my treadmill in my room. : ) | |||

| I personally think they taste really good, but like all nutrition bars, they have a lot of sugar in them. A lot of times, I'll buy a bar if I want sugar, but don't want to eat candy because it's so unhealthy. Although starting on Monday, I'm going to cut out some of my processed foods, and nutrition bars are one of the 1st things being cut from my list. I might buy one for the whole week, but that would be it. | |||

| I work at McDonald's, so I'm constantly trying to find healthier things to eat there. We have wraps. Get your chicken grilled and it saves you about 30 calories. The parfaits are nice, and they are only 160 cals with the granola. The 4 piece nugget only has 140 calories, and a small fry has around 250. We also have the fruit and walnut salad, which is around 250-280 calories. The side salad has 15 cals, and we have low calorie dressings. We also have milk, apple dippers, and things like that. There are quite a few alternatives. | |||

| Use the rude comments to your adavantage. It'll be good motivation to work out. They shouldn't be saying anything at all, but let's face the fact that there isn't much we can do. Just imagine how funny it'll be when people can't make fun of you for your weight anymore. I still get criticized about my weight and I've lost 67 pounds within the last year. I am 5'7" and weigh 173. I still need to lose a little bit, but that's how people are. So use it! | |||

| I do this for the most part. I eat pretty healthy during the week, and for example, this weekened over a few days, I have had shock tarts one day, kissables another day, and my friend and I shared an organic brownie another day. | |||

| After eating healthy for so long, I would try to eat unhealthy and I had the same experience. The grease on the french fries felt so thick. I would get all gassy(sp?) and bloated from it. I felt incredibly sick. | |||

| I've lost 60 pounds, and about 4 pants sizes aswell, yet I still feel fat. Granted, I still have 30 pounds to lose to reach my goal, but I am around 20 pounds overweight right now. It sucks. | |||
