I think you look great. But like all of us here you have a weight you wish to reach so just keep trying like you said. Thanks for posting the %'s of our goals that have been completed - I find it so exciting to look at them, and it is something that has kept me motivated along the way. I am so excited that I may actually meet my maintenance weight by the end of this challenge!! I try to see the % of my goal I have completed in what % of time to see if I am on track lol...ok I am a nerd, but anyway...thank you Smile

I am not even close to my goal this month, but I am still really pleased. As of this week, I have officially lost 60 pounds since I started losing weight last year, and I reached the healthy weight my doctor originally recommended (145). I saw my new Dr. for something unrelated last week, and he said tone, and lose about 10 more pounds at most...I am so glad to have come so far even if I do not meet my July goal.

It is my TOTM, so I am feeling okay about the weight gain..I usually gain 2-3lbs and lose that water weight by the following week...not to mention the holidays hehe. I am feeling hopeful that I will weigh even less than my start week at the next weigh-in.

I did this in June, and I lost 7 lbs (my goal was 8)!! I find it to be a great motivator :D This month my goal is 6 lbs. Umm about me...I started trying to lose weight last year, and I have lost 58.6 lbs. so far. I am 5'5'' and I weigh 146.4 lbs. I would like to lose a total of 70 lbs, and my goal date to lose the last 11.4 lbs by is Sep. 15th. I started as a size 20, and I am now a 7/8...ideally I would like to be a 5/6. I think my main focus needs to be toning, but I never focus on that lol...soon though, I swear >_>

I know Sarah, it is crazy!! I was on a plateau for like 6 months, and all of a sudden this has motivated me to lose weight again...at one point I seriously started questioning if I was destined to be around 153-155 for the rest of my life lol :P This week I have: Broken out of the 150's AND I now have a healthy BMI!!!

I see everyone seems to be working really hard too :D Good work everyone!!

AND I love the graphic, great idea, and wonderfully executed ;)

Hey!! I need your opinions! Because I am also in the September Challenge, and the weigh-ins are Fridays, and my weigh-ins personally are Fridays, can I just put my Friday weights on here? I figure it's okay, but I wanted to double check :) I don't want to hop on the scale more than I have to, or I get totally obsessed lol. Thanks!

Good job bobev!!! You are doing a great job, and I am so glad you also have broken your plateau - they are SO frustrating! These challenges really do help. I also left CC for a little while, and I realized that perhaps contributed to it. Yay - congrats :D!


Good job to mishm0sh too! Working out enough to make up for eating at any wedding so that there are no long-term side-effects (weight gain haha) can be hard! Yay!

(I am going by Friday's weight because TOTM came this weekend and I have a rule to avoid the scale during that time).

I am really pleased with this challenge...it has really motivated me, and I have finally broken my plateau!! I kept hovering around 155 for MANY months, and now I am exercising, drinking 80-120 ounces of water a day, and eating healthy. This week I hit my 55 lbs total weight loss marker!! I am now looking forward to getting into the 140's!! Thank you for creating this challenge!! I really hope I can make my 8 lb. goal, but I would even be satisfied with 5 lbs. Good luck everyone :)

I use the elliptical at the gym, and it has me enter my weight. My heart rate is normally between 153-175 (though sometimes hits 200). I *sincerely* doubt your BPM was down to 70, so I wouldn't sweat that. I usually do 65-72 RPM, and in 30 min. that is about 375 calories burned according to the machine. I know they are sometimes not 100% accurate, especially if they do not ask for your weight. From what I have researched, it isn't uncommon to burn 650-700 calories per hour. It's such a great machine! I agree with the above post that when you able, you may want to invest in a heart rate monitor...I am not able to afford one right now, so I kind of depend on the machine's and CC's calorie estimate.


Good job on 30 minutes a day - that is fantastic :D!!!
