I will hold for you  to have a loving and balanced life.

I use ariborne when my body feels run down and I have the slighest thought of having a cold. There are other things out there that help also like zinc. Most when our body gets overwhelmed we use alot of vit and minerals up so those need replaced mega amounts for a day or two.

Not a Dr. just what I noticed.

St. Cloud is quite far from me  I don't think hubby would want to drive that far for a few hours. Maybe someone can set something up in the cities for this summer?

What changes have you made for yourself since knowing about the secret?

What would you think of posting to this thread some of your creations for others to hold and send good thoughts and prayers to.

Me I am more intouch with what I am doing for myself. And it has been a huge NUDGE to get going and do happy things for me.

This is the mantra I put in my journal that others can hold for me

I so love that folks are getting this. I have been doing this type of thing for years. Although sometimes life get's in the way and I forget. We even had a vision board. We still make a list every year of things we want for ourselves then prioitize<[sp] it. Right now I am getting the free info from the website where they talk about the different ways to bring things into your life.

Thank you all. Yes one battle does not make for a war. Like any battle one dances up and back. I have formed this statement for myself which is now my mantra for life.

ActiveHealthyLifeStyleDancer makes me smile when I think about it and happy at heart.

I am glad the Holiday is over to many loved one no longer here and missed so much on the Holidays.

I have weighed and gain about 10 lbs but it is not the end of the world and I will move past this and be kinder to myself.

My new goal is 165 by Oct. 2007 this is very doable and healthy.

Again thank you all I will not be so much a stranger on the boards.

Since this site was sold there HAS BEEN a change not seeing that change for the better I have stayed away plus other reasons. 

Do some of you not understand that one of the hardest things to do is to share what is going on in your life. And that it is NOT ok to jump on someone when you disagree. You know there are kind and approperate ways to talk to folks without making them feel like there don't matter.

I see no need for this type of unkind behavior no need at all.  I'm sorry I stopped by today and read this post.  I think it will be awhile before I think of stopping by and sharing my journery.

Start slow and easy for me it was just adding more water then I wrote out my foods and checked to see how many cal they were that really helps. I had to wait till I lost about 20lbs before I could feel good enough to walk around. Looking at this as a life change for health is important. I have learned so much hear and still am. Been here since January and have release just over 45 lbs and got more to go.

Thanks Kelly that was a wonderful explanation. And have being doing between 1400 to 1500 since I started here just have hit a long long plateau so was hoping to see something more I could do but don't see anything but maybe add more protein from what I can tell. It has been under 40grams so hope that will help. Also am on Thyroid pills so that most likely has not helped my lose at all. But not giving in for me this is a life situation change.

I like that explaination about intake and output and hope someone can help me see what I can do differently. It says my maintance calorie should be 2000 to lose weight it says 1375 so what else do I need to know. Just started to walk a little like 40 mn a day steady speed which said oh about 114 calories burned so trying to refigure things out. Can someone help me in this. I am at 190 and would like to get past this plateau I have been on since late July. My age is 60 :D

Raising hand saying yes this has hapened to me. More frequent small meals or nibbles may help. Fastest thing I found is a tespoon of peanut butter or a slice of peach or both. Doesn't have to be big to help balance. My nibbles are maybe 2 hours apart it just depends on how I feel. But also getting the Thyroid checked my be in order.

Oh and yes I eat something before I go to bed or when I wake up during the night. Small oj even a sip helps to keep things more balanced. Each body is different so our needs are differenet.

Don't give up, even feeling like you are right now, you are still making good chocies for yourself and that is so what we want to learn.

From someone that has been stuck since the end of July without more weight lose but noticing the 45 lb lose I had. I have a lot more to lose but.

We can do this YES WE CAN.

Female age 60 been here since Jan.

average cal 1400 to 1500 vaires I find that helpful

weight lose 45 lbs. 

hit a plateau for the past 15 days now noticed I need more protein so will adjust that.

Can walk twice a day for 20 mn or more :D do wall push ups :D

am a happy walker now.

My goodness I am only getting about 40 grams if that of  protein and I need at least 65 :O  no wonder I am stuck in limbo.

Never knew there was an analyis thingie till I read this post THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Now I need to figure out how to get more protein and not increase the carbs. May need to look at protein powder.

You know the other thing I noticed is how few grams of protein some meat has was a real eye opener. Glad I found that area.
