Katie - I know what you are talking about. when someone acknowledges when you are loosing. I dont care about the scale but it sure is the greatest motivator when someone says something to you... KEEP IT UP!!! Ginny - awesome JOB!Ma - I also feel the same frustration you are feeling regarding keeping it off. I was walking the entire weekend - literally and I ended up gaining 2 lbs. its devistating but just try and get thru the day... tomorrow will be brighter and easier!Ell-Congrats on shattering the 200 mark. HI Everyone,

Welcome Newbies. Sorry it has taken me so long to get back here. The only thing I hate about taking vacation is the huge workload you have to work thru to get caught up. Well I spent my entire weekend walking around Corpus Christi with my husband - anniversary weekend away. It was great. I enjoyed every minute and all our walks. but I decided not to weigh myself this past monday.. probably a bad idea but didnt want to spoil the good time we had with a weight gain.

I havent caught up on the bloggs yet. Will soon. This week since being back at work has been going well. I am just about 50 calories off what i daily goal intake is of about 1400. I have set a small goal of about 15 lbs before July 19th, when my parents come to visit. So good luck everyone of your goals and have a great long weekend - which is yet another challenge in itself.

Hi Everyone,

Well congrats on all the amazing LOSSES! I am a real newby to CC so my first weigh in will be next week. It will probably not be very good as my husband and I are going to Corpus Christi for a long weekend to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary...So it is going to be extremely tough but I am hoping to show a loss. My goal is 1650 calories per day... yesterday was rough... I believe i was just over 2000 calories... am determined to do great the rest of the week.

Anyways... hop ya'll having a great Tuesday!

HI Everyone,

Well congrats to everyone that is exercising their butt off and losing. I never realized how hard this counting thing really is. The hardest thing for me is that when I am at work I stick to my snacks and small meals but when i get home i just cannot stop myself. My goal is to eat 1650 calories and I ranked in a whopping 2,068. Im not good at math but that is rather a huge deficit!!! anyways. My husband and I have been apartment hunting and that was my only real exercise yesterday... I just cannot seem to get motivated to work out. I have these great exercise videos " slim in 6" and when i first started the program... i ate relatively healthy and lost 12 lbs in two weeks but obviously the workout is hard and i just cannot bring myself to do it...AAarrgh! Guess that is my next goal. Workout today for at least 15 minutes... not including walking my dog...

Have a great Tuesday!

Hey everyone,

Well congrats on all the losses!Very inspirational! Well i am half way through the day and have not gone overboard. This is an extremely difficult task as my cube mate - has a fishbowl full of candy - all the good stuff and it is terribly tempting... but so far so good. I like the idea of monday weigh ins... so I guess Im gonna join you guys and divulge my stats for the first time next week...Hopefully a loss will be the result.

I am so glad I found you guys... i attended another string the first day at CC, before i found this one, and they were horribly mean and judgemental... glad ive found some great people to chat to.. have a great Monday!

Anyways enough of my nonesence. chat to you all soon.

Hi Everyone, Happy Mom's day! Well i will be totally honest with you, I just started the CC last week and fell of the wagon terribly... I was doing so well for like 3 days and then just without even realizing it, I slipped back into my bad old habits! Anyways I am starting new tomorrow and thanks to everyone that posts their stats whether good or bad, it makes me see that although there are bumps in the road... that is possible.

have a great day and a great week.

Welcome to all the newbies... i guess im also one...Chat soon

Hi Everyone.

I am new to not only this sight but also to this group. I am 24 years old, 5 feet 11inches and weigh 260lbs. I literally just joined this signt 2 days ago and I am extatic to know that there is such a positive network of people out there. I have always struggled with my weight and hope to get down to about 150lbs... someday! I ballooned up when I originally move to the USA in 2001 and have been on a rollercoaster ever since. I have actually lost 12 lbs before my brothers wedding in April and have maintained it off. So if anyone has any wisdom to bistow... please feel free.  I really need ideas for good low cal snack foods...Anyways have a great day.

Hi Everyone.

I am extremely new to this sight and decided to look at the postings and comments. I am actually saddened and shocked at the back and forth that is going on... almost High School like. I would normally just leave this sight but enjoy the benefits and tools here, so I will probably NEVER read the posting sessions again or ask for advise and support.
