| Okay, I like you ladies. I just turned 29 (yikes!) and am 5'1", 138 pounds. I'm looking to lose a little more, get to a healthy BMI, exercise more, drink more water, and eat more healthfully. | |||

| Hi Teammies!
I'm Andie; I'm a mom of two, 5'1" looking to go from 138 to 108 or so. Go Team 1! P.s. dummie--take care of yourself! I'm sorry to hear about your seizure. |

| I'm also 5'1" and started at 165.5. I have trouble finding the right amount of calories sometimes. I do find I don't lose or gain if I eat too few calories! I used the tools on this site to find my number, then ate a little more/less to "tweak" it. I have also heard you should subtract 250 from the number of calories you currently eat, and burn another 250 with exercise. I hope it helps! | |||

| Hi! I am also 5'1" and I started at 165.5; I'm now 136.5. We are pretty much in the same boat! If you want to chat, you can send me a message. I don't check it every day but I do check it fairly often.
Good luck and congratulations on the start of your more healthful life! You CAN do it! |

| Thanks, girls! It's such a relief to know there are others out there who are short and sharing my struggles. I also think it's really hard to lose weight when you're short! I started out at 165.5, which on my small frame was a lot. I am now 136.5; one more pound and I've lost 30 pounds! Also, I'm almost at a healthy BMI! I'm so excited! | |||

| Why is it that when I eat more food (even junky stuff) I tend to lose more? I read some entries about losing weight after Thanksgiving and finally being off a plateau. I've been eating more calories today (McDonald's) in the hope of finally leaving 143. I'm so sick of looking at that number! I have problems sometimes eating enough calories; I try to eat 1250-1350 a day and I work odd hours and have two little kids so I don't cook much and I haven't exercised in awhile. Does anyone have any tips for me? P.s. Am I the oldest one here at 29? |
