I was in a similar situation as you when I played JV lacrosse - my coach knew nothing about the sport, so instead he tried to teach us life lessons and other BS. I really wanted to quit like many of my teammates, but because I was the only goalie I felt obligated to continue playing. Now I'm a Junior and play for the varsity team at my high school and am really happy that I didn't quit. Don't let the coach ruin the sport for you. |

I've just recently started to run regularly after a month-long "break", and have noticed a small, sharp pain in my right ankle. It doesn't hurt while I run, but a few hours later I can barely walk. I took a few days off, and it felt better, but today I just noticed the pain has come back. I don't know how serious it is, but you have definitely given me a wake-up call! |

Something like this: or a more basic design: I play lacrosse (a sport that requires you to have agile and strong hands) and my coach makes us work with grip strengtheners as a part of our workout regimen.
