Weight Loss Not sure how to Proceed May 18 2007

I agree with Suziegirl to add 200-300 calories a day. Sometimes added food actually jumpstarts metabolism and you actually loose weight not gain. I am taking in less than 1200 and will have to be doing the same thing soon because I am not losing. I started Jazzersize on 5/16 and have been going to Curves. Been losing some inches but not much weight. So I will have to take my own advice real soon.

Hi. This is my first day on cc. I'm 5'2" weigh 226 and need all the help I can get. My goal is to lose 50 lbs for now. When I get there,I'll see how I feel and go from there. Last night I went to Jazzercise and that was the first exercise class in years. I am trying to look at one day at a time, because the task seems monumental!!!

Hi, my name is Peggy, this is  my first day on cc; and I too am a binge eater. Ice cream is my downfall but if I don't buy it, it's easier. There is no such thing as 1 chocolate chip cookie - why bother. I am making my final effort to change my eating habits and know that I am going to need support to do it. I am no spring chicken but if I want to be an old chicken, I am going to have to conquer this. All help is welcome.

Hi. This is my first day on cc and last night was the first exercise class in years! I signed up for Jazzercise and lucky for me the instructor would give me alternatives. While everyone else was on the floor, she showed me what I could do while I was standing up. She also shows the 'low impact' of what she is doing; and right now low impact is where it is at for me. My goal is to lose 50 lbs.I am no spring chicken; and hopefully the support here and the class will see me through this.
