You may want to add on protein and fiber if you don't have much. That makes a big difference in feeling full. I also drink a lot of water and that makes me a little fuller too.

You would add your exercise on top of the BMR. So if you burn 1900 and exerecised off 400 you've burned 2300 that day.

You're workout sounds like enough, are you eating enough calories to let your body recooperate from all the exercise? Sometimes eating a little more than you have been can kickstart the weight loss because your body will be doing something different.

When I got stuck, I tried to drink more water and change what I was eating around a little and add weight training in with walking. Changing your routine might get you back on track. Good luck!

Hmm. I also wonder what percentage of people get to keep their hair more than shoulder length. They seem to chop everyone's especially if it's curly.

Weight Loss Will I Have Loose Skin After Losing 60 Pounds ? Aug 19 2008

I lost 100 pounds and got bad stretched skin on the under side of my arms and my stomach. Everyone is different though. Losing slowly does make it look better than surgery shows where you see someone has gastric bypass and it the stretched skin can look awful.

As said above, you need to eat more than what you've been doing. Use the tools on this site with your goal weight and see what it gives you as a goal date to reach that. It may not be by September 2, but it wouldn't be too far off. I lost an average of 10 pounds a month when I first started losing, but that doesn't happen with everyone.

A larger baked potato from Wendy's with sour cream on it is about 320 cal. so if you eat one plain I'd say about 220.

Augette, just keep doing it every day. Keep up your activity and calorie deficit, I also watch sodium really closely because it's the easiest to go over.

Raiken3712, on Chili's website you can get a pdf file with nutrition facts for their entire menu. Some places only list nutritional information for specific items, such as Applebee's only has info on the Weight Watchers items and nothing else they serve. But Chili's lists it all.
Foods Someone told me that Apr 28 2008

Cottage cheese is a good way to get your serving of dairy and protein so if you're within your calorie allowance for the day it shouldn't make you gain anything. It is a little high in sodium so you'd want to make sure you don't go over your sodium allowance for the day.

Weight Loss Eating out help/restaurant doom? Apr 23 2008
00:40 (UTC)

I don't eat somewhere unless they make their nutrional facts available. There's some things you assume aren't very good to eat but when I've found out what's in some of the things I used to have I couldn't believe they were THAT bad. So I always look it up first. Some places such as Applebees and Red Lobster tell you what's in a specific lighter section of the menu but don't have facts available for the rest of the menu. Others such as Chilis, have a PDF file on their website with complete nutritional info on every item. So usually you can find what you may be thinking about ordering or an equivalent.

As far as office food being around, I try to stay full with small snacks and meals throughout the day so nothing will look that tempting to me because I won't feel like I'm starving. If you really want something, then eat it. Have a smaller portion rather than skipping it and thinking about it all day and binging on something later.

Just eat a little less than you do when you exercise and you should still have a good deficit.

As said above, losing that amount isn't realistic  but the zig-zaging idea works for some people  so that you don't hit a plateau.

I don't like salad either, you can lose weight without it! Some of my staple foods are Fiber One bars, Kashi cereal, 1% milk, egg beaters, Boca breakfast wraps, oatmeal, Sara Lee 45 calorie per slice wheat bread, tuna with light mayo, carrot sticks, bananas, fish, those steam in the bag microwaveable mixed veggies, and chicken breasts. You can bake chicken breasts in the oven with some Mrs. Dash marinade on it and you've got a pretty easy meal.

I have a newer treadmill that has you enter your weight before you start on it so I trust the reading on that.
