My sister trying to keep up with the times asked me who the government had captured...Osama or Bin Laden?  I had to kindly tell her that they were one and the same and and it was Saddam who had been captured.

My mom and I were listening to the news about the senator who said that he was not drunk when he crashed his car that he just didn't know the effect his prescribed medication would have on him.  My mom with a serious look on her face said, "Yeah right, that's like the president who said he didn't swallow."  I laughed long and hard when I realized that she was talking about president clinton who said that yes he tried Marijuana but didn't inhale.  Of course Minica Lewinsky went through my mind. LOL

Eating a bowl of cereal before bed would help you, it helps to keep your blood sugar from getting too low as it keeps up a glycemic drip all night,  i work out in the morning too and this has helped alot.

I am to on a diet-I prefer to call it a "life style change."  Hahha  anyway my rant is, why the hell won't people stay out of your business?  I was at a workshop, we were having lunch buffet-style, which was chicken alfredo with all the fixins', I was proud as i kept myself to one serving, and as a reward, I wanted a brownie.  Two people came up to me, one said, what are you doing you don't need that, and the other one actually told me i should be ashamed of myself!!  I wanted to give them a piece of my mind, but after "my life style change, i don't have much left!!

Having a bad dream-I was trying to run away from zombies, I tripped and fell and one of them looked right at me.  My last thought before waking was, "I am never going to be able to outrun that thing."  That day, I signed up at a gym and have been working hard ever since.  My 10 year old daughter is my main motivation.  She saw me working out and now she does to.  My best friend takes her to his gym and they work out 4 days a week.  About 3 months ago, she wrapped her arms around me when I was cooking and said, "Mama, I can put my arms around you, I could never do that before."  I went into my room and had a good cry.  Also I bought a pair of pants last summer, I didn't try them on in the store I was so embarrassed, of course they didn't fit.  So they have been hanging in the back of my closet.  I tried them on the other day and when I tried to walk, they fell to my ankles!!!  I have been slowly pulling out my old clothes and wearing them.  My youngest sister was laughing, because they are all out of style.  I told her she better be prepared for what was next.  She "OMG, are you bringing back stone-washed?"

LOL_ I know you feel.  To many marquirtas after a stressful week along with some super macho nachos.  This is what i do-I work out hard all month, plus I watch what I eat, so once a month I allow myself a day where I eat and drink what I want.  As long as you are diligent about your diet, one day isn't so bad.  I used to beat myself up over that, but watching the scale has proved that one day isn't going to ruin you.  Congrats to your husband and congrats to you for working so hard.
Weight Loss How bad are your TOTM symptoms? Oct 07 2007

Since losing weight-my TOTM has been so much better.  I used to have to call in sick to work because of excessive bleeding, clots, cramps and headaches, also it would last for up to 2 weeks.  Since losing about 60 pounds.  It lasts for about 7 days, I still have the headaches, but I can still live my life.  I continue to exercise even on days i don't really feel like it, but it helps with the cramps.
Weight Loss What would you do if your coworkers don't leave you alone? Sep 30 2007

LOL-I feel your pain, My parents had to come to my defense when someone said that I was on Crack.  They suggested to my parents that I needed to be put into treatment.  My dad argued back that this is the healthiest I have been in years and not because i was on drugs.  my advice is to let the haters hate.  Someone always has something to say, as long as YOU know you are doing what is best for you.
Fitness is 30min cadio enough? Sep 25 2007

try to fit in 10 minutes 3x a day-it breaks it down so it doesn't feel like you are doing a whole lot at once.  That's what I did with my little sister because she did not want to work out the way i do and also I was tired of her moaning and whining LOL.

Meridia is working pretty good for me.  I just started a week ago and I have never felt so energetic, also it seems to have curbed my appetite-health insurance doesn't cover it even though it is prescribed by a doctor-a month supply costed me about $130.00

I too am trying to get my 10 year old daughter to eat healthier with me.

she barely noticed when i started using whole wheat pasta.  When a recipe calls for ground beef I rinse it in hot water after it has finished cooking-my dietician's trick.  When I make meat loaf-I chopped spinach and mix it in with the meat-she doesn't even notice-she now loves cooked spinach which surprised me
Health & Support Anybody Know Anything About Gallbladder Problems? Aug 26 2007
03:32 (UTC)
I agree with everyone-you need to get checked.  A few months after I stared my diet-i would get nauseated, throw up and one night I woke up in severe pain-I thought I was having a heart attack!!  Very scary thankfully it turned out to be "only" my gall bladder.

I am glad I do not have this problem-my family is very supportive-in fact, my little brother thinks that I do not need to lose weight (LMAO)  I am the shortest and I also weigh the most but my whole family thinks I am perfect-but they understand my choices.  My sisters and brothers are 5' 11 and over and not one of them weighs over 200 pounds.  My baby brother (6 ft 5 inches)said the other day when I didn't want fast food "You want me to go climb a tree and bring you some leaves?"  TandT you are welcome at my home anytime-my family is a good self-esteem booster!!!

In fact, they would have given your sister in law a good earbeating which I feel she deserves.
