Wow! HELP ME!!! PLEASE!! I cant seem to get anywhere. Last night I even binged because I felt so low!! I count these stupid calories, work out 5-6 days a week (I have a gym membership also), I am beginning to think that I am a genetic defect!! | Yes we can!!! Congrats on your 1/2 way goal. I cant seem to shed 2 pounds. I just dont get it. I work out my analysis ratings on my food are mostly a's. I have even started logging my food on here thinking I was doing something wrong. Maybe I am a genetic defect!! I hope one day I can be 1/2 like you!

I can relate to your story. I HAVE TO GET MY ACT TOGETHER ONCE AND FOR ALL ALSO. I am looking into finding a doctors office to go to and get some suggestions as to what my next plan of action should be. Apparently I am my own worst enemy. (((HUGS))) Juanita |

| Skating....wow, I sure do miss those days! Maybe I will do that again too!
I havent weighed all this week...too afraid thanks to TTOM!! I was doing pretty good at not cheating until last night....then chocolate bars were envading my every thought so I had one....in somewhat moderation. I even worked out a little more to not feel so guilty. But now the craving is gone and I am back at it today. I have found that those South Beach Diet things like the wraps and chicken salad stuff are great for lunch. Very High in protein which is something I am lacking in my numbers.... What is anyone's thought on those meals. I usually put a green salad with a little bit of dressing with it. Have a Terrific Tuesday... Juanita |

| I think I would like to have a misposting on my stats too.....You know it had to feel good if only for a second!!
I am battling with myself today. Day 18 and I am struggling because it is TTOM in the next few days and I always gain weight and I feel like I have an appetite that I just cant satisfy!! I didnt work out Tuesday because I was so exhausted and on top of it all I am dealing with a stressed out bride to be....(My sister!) on the last week before her wedding on the 16th. Lots of Chocolate is really sounding good right now.......some days this is the hardest thing that I have ever had to do!! |

| Thanks for that answer. I didnt know what I could do to help the pain out. I just dont walk as long.
What is the best way to stretch the shins out? Or can someone point me to a website with more information. I would love to be walking more. Right now I walk for 30 minutes each day....well except last night...I walked at the grocery store...not as good for me I know but my family was about to hang me out to dry! Juanita |

| WOW PORSHA!! What a routine!! And I workout everyday but I think you are doing much more than I am. I dont know if my shins could take it. But I applaude you and your continuing effort to do your best!!
I am on day 11 today. I have lost 4 LBS and 5 1/2 inches. I think I am getting a jump rope too as a reward for my efforts!! Have a GREAT day everyone! Juanita |

I keep a journal in a book right now but I refer to the calorie counter online as my information guide. Keeping a journal makes me be more accountable. (Though I blew it this weekend!! I didnt lose but I didnt gain..that's a plus) I could have been taking in about 2500 a day, PMS time was probably a lot more!! I hate the week before TOM, I am always starving. I am 5'3", and I agree with you, supposedly if I sat on the couch all day I need close to 2k a day...too much for me! I am pretty active and I am beginning to wonder how much heredity has to do with it. But I am counting for a change to see how much this affects me. I am waiting until I hit the 150 mark to see how that is before I decide to go any further than that. If I can even see the underside of 200 then I will be happy with a good solid beginning!! |

| WE CAN DO THIS!
I know it sounds like a broken record to some of us. But determination is the key to our success! No matter howgreat or small our success, that is one more line we have crossed and conquered. I AM GOING TO MAKE IT!! So far I am staying around 1500 calories each day and this seems to be working for me. I am losing....SLOWLY. (Such an awful word somedays.) And I am not hungry. I do workout at least 5 times a week, more if I can. Full time job, full time family, volunteer hours for BSM, and a rock band to boot. Maybe my reward for keeping to my goals will be a vacation ;) with some me time! |

I just started Monday. Almost 39 years old (Tuesday, 29th) and beginning weight of 242.5 as of this morning 241.0. Not too bad I guess. I am using a food journel....what a difference that has made. A little time consuming though. I have been exercising regularly since February so food had to be my problem. What a reality check!! SHORT TERM GOAL: To See 199...or anything else under the 2 mark!! LONG TERM GOAL: 150 |

| Hello all....can I join your group. I am a newbie. I am 5'3" and weighed in at 242 this morning. UGH....depressive! I am new to counting calories and doing all I can to learn. But I dont feel like I know anything yet.
Can someone give me a better idea where I can find that on this site? I did find where I am supposed to eat around 1750 cal's a day. But where do I find the information about working out and adding cal's back in? I dont understand and I have seen that on a few posts. I am looking at my first goal to be under 200 when is a good goal date for that? Cant wait to get to know you all! |
