| Hi everyone. havn't posted here in a while!
Well im trying to maintain now, i bumped up my calories every 5 days or so by 200. (I was eating around 600-700 not so long ago but i bumped that up straight away to 1200.) Now im trying to eat 2000 ;O it seems like so much, but im actually enjoying being able to eat alot and i believe my appetite is returning! my sedentary is 1700, but ive been walking alot whilst shopping - getting ready for my holiday :) which is why im eating 2000. As for my holiday im going away for a month, so id love to maintain whilst there but i have a feeling ill gain. i'll be visiting family and going out alot so i know i wont be able to count calories and im assuming ill be eating alot of bad food, but ill try my best. im going in two weeks so i thought id try and maintain and then my body wont get so much of a shock when i start eating differntly whilst on holiday?..so hopefully i wont gain. THEEEN when i come back, i'm going to try and start losing weight again the correct healthy way :) im so glad to have found this website! hope everyone is doing well! |

| Hellooo :]
I thought id join this thread as i am quite small i think :/ Anywaaay..so a bit of history... i've disliked my body for years (then again i don't believe anyone is truely content with the way they look) so i started going to the gym 2x a week burning 600-800 cals whilst eating about 1600ish..(well i dont know for sure i wasnt really counting back then). But i only became more muscular and bulky looking..not my desired effect. plus i hate running and got bored so i stopped going. then i started getting obsessive about calories and stuff and i only realised the damage i was doing to myself the other day on a 700cal a day diet with loads of excersise..mainly aerobics. Soooo now im here trying to correct any damage ive done to myself and become healthier :( I feel so stupid... Age: 16 Height: 5'4" Starting Weight: 140 Current:128 Goal: 112 (120 before i go on holiday 14th July..is this possible?) I now eat 1200 - 1400. Do you think this is okay to lose on? Thanks :] xx |

| Weight Loss | OK ... for all you people who eat less than 1200 calories a day... YOU ARE WRONG | Jun 16 2007 21:47 (UTC) |

| I used to eat 700 a day, back when i didnt know about this 1200 minimum thing. but i wasnt hungry, therefore in my eyes i wasn't starving myself, i felt perfectly fine.
yes at first i lost weight but then it stopped. i now realise what i was doing so wrong. mainly thanks to this site..but my main point is some people arent intentionally starving themselves by eating such amounts. as i know myself i just was never hungry and didn't realise what i was doing so wrong. |
