| I never did Atkins or any of the low carb diets. I just couldnt. Pasta and bread are my friends ! But anywho, I couldnt understand how you could not eat all the things that are good for you - fruits, breads, rice etc. And that you could eat things that are not so good for you in excess - eggs, bacon, beef. How can you become healthy from that? And then , if you did succeed with the diet...is this how you eat for the rest of your life? | |||

| ok this is wierd BUT IT WORKED!!!!
in one day, just by upping my calories ( and i didnt exercise ) my scale dropped 4 lbs. How in the world?? I had to get off and on a few times just to see if it was real...I even rubbed my eyes. I ate a few extra snacks, had pizza for dinner and a slice of cheescake? In a way I can understand that my body was used to everything I was doing, but Im still shocked lol Maybe thats why I was still losing on those days that I would sneak a few cookies ..hmm... |

| So if I eat more calories for maybe two days, then lower them another two days and switch up a little on my exercise I should get off the plateau?
I feel like such a piggie by eating more calories, but looking through the archives and what you all are saying it seems to work. |

| Definitely digital is best for me. Mine broke last week (my little ones decided to destroy the battery casing) . I was miserable because I couldnt weigh myself and didnt have enough cash to get another digital so I got an old fashioned one. Now I cant see my weight cause my stomach is in the way *lol* and when I lean back a little to see, my weight shifts and the dial moves. Ugh. Now im just saving up for another digital one. | |||

I was overweight at age 17 and I kept giving up over and over . Did all the diets from slim fast-the grapfruit and they only lasted about three weeks. Im now 31 . Thats 14 years of my life being overweight, and when I look back and think that If I just stuck with something I probably could be thin right now. If you keep giving up its not going to go away. It took me a long time to get where I am today, and its going to take some time to get where I want to be. This is what your frame of mind needs to be. Even if you only lose 2 lbs a month - Hey thats 2 Lbs right? Thats 2 lbs less than you were before you started. Just be patient with it. All of us are here for basically the same reasons. Were all here to help and support one another. Some have a lil to lose and some have a lot. But Please dont give up because I know you can do it. |

| I used to drink soda all the time as if it was water. For about 7 years now we wont even buy it. The only time my kids will get it is if we are at someones home and its offered to them, and then they have to share a can lol.
Try your best to completely get off of soda. Soda has so many ingredients that could be harmful to your health. Have you tried drinking a cup of tea a day? That might also rid you of the headaches. Hope you feel better girl. |
