How do you know how many calories it takes just to operate your body daily-Katydid22 answered that
how much you have to excercise to start losing weight??? -you need to burn more calories than you consume to start losing weight.
how do I figure it keeping the goal date I want, not what the site determines is a good date? -CC won't let you set it up that way. They think losing upto 2 pounds a week is a healthy way to lose weight. But 3500 calories is a pound so you if you still want to lose more than 2 pounds a week you can figure it out with that info. |

I'm in and Monday weigh-in's sound like a good way to try not to slack off on the weekends. I'm 23, 4' 10.5", and currently 169. I'd love to be 154 in April, but I've never been that successful with weight loss. Ephinzat Congrats on the engagement! I'm getting married un June too and we're also the same age! |

I would like to join I will weigh in now. Todays weight was 170 (although I hope its due to sodium since i ate awful since the 30th) 15 pounds in 3 months sounds great to me. Should our end date be April 5, 2009? |

do you normally eat the same salad at the make ur own place? if so add it to cc as a recipe and tag it. and every time you eat it its only a click away. this way you wont have to add each ingredient individually each time. |

You can totally see a difference! you've come so far. So many people are still trying to accomplish what you already HAVE. Be proud it is all because of your hard work! like mrsgail said, you are an inspiration to others. I have only lost 7 pounds, so I like seeing posts like yours it lets me know this can be possible for me too! keep it up and congrats! |

I would suggest using slow cookers so you dont have to watch the food too closely. maybe rice pilaf and shredded beef, served with a salad some side veggies and rolls. |

if you try them and love them, you can make them yourself to control the oil and salt content. BUT they are time consuming. just heat your oven to 200 degrees. then wash and halve your tomatoes, squeezing out most of the seeds. (i usually do at least 3 pounds at a time to make it worth it). then put tomato halves on a NON STICK cookie sheet (or oil the sheet) and sprinkle with a little salt. place in the oven until they look like wrinkled, around 7 hours, less if your tomatoes are small. they are great in pasta dishes and pizzas and also with chicken. |

same... add some oil and eyeball the noodles, they will probably serve more than a cup of noodles. Try to eat about a cup of them and leave the rest. thats what i'd do, eat all my veggies and meat and leave some of the noodles. enjoy, sounds yummy! |

when I'm unsure, i just add the ingredients seperately. I would say about the following calories lettuce: 25 black bean corn salsa:180 (1 cup=16 tbs, so 1.5 cups=24 tbs. 24*7.5=180) chickpeas:286 total:491

I would say light. you walk for 30 minutes a day and have a 3 year old. when you work out with your trainer, add that to your activity log. |

He was probablu just making small talk. or who knows maybe he's watching what he eats too. so he was being sincere. that was a better choice than what the bakery offers. im sure he sees many people go in around lunch time and just grab stuff from the bakery. |

let me start by saying that staying at 1200 calories consantly is hard for me, i LOVE food! so i do go over from time to time. sometimes i lose 1 pound a week constantly. but mostly ill go down like 4 pounds then gain 2 then lose 3 then gain 2 then lose 4 again. anyways. when i stick to calorie counting i usually lose an average of 1.2 pound a week. you're doing great. as long as your losing that's progress. good luck, you're on the right track! |
