Is it way too late for me to start this?  I've wanted to be a healthy eater for a long time (instead of just eating less but still being unhealthy, which is what I do now).

I know exactly how you feel.  I'm starting a new school in August and I'm worried about all the standard 'everyone already knows each other/no one will like me/I'll be made fun of' worries.

I'd love to join this club.  I've jumping between 215 and 225 lbs for the past several months and I'm sick of it!  It's just hard when you have a lot of weight to lose and feel like you'll never get there.
