| i'd love to join this! =]
current weight: 135 goal weight: 125-120 overall goal: lose that extra fat and tone up. i want to be able to have someone look at me and know i'm ripped. don't wanna have to flex my muscles haha |

| i told myself i wouldnt weigh til friday, cause i know you can't really see results everyday. but i just had to do it, come to find out that i went back up to 137 after dropping to 135. but then i weighed again today and i'm 136. i need to stay away from that darn scale! i know i'm not fluctuating that much cause its not possible to loose day to day! grr. i vow not to weigh again til friday morning :) | |||

| ALL OF THEM! haha. they all will help.
i personally would put KICKBOXING at the top of my list. i love that class! sucha good workout! burns the cals and gets weights in. STEP is also a great workout! but seriously, mix it up, go to as much as possible. keep your body guessing. :) |

| WOO! it's friday and i guess i'm the first to post my results?! well i have some good news to start off with....

| hey anblackb!
i'm glad you tink my stomach looks nice :) it could be camera angles and lighting lol. but what i do for my abs is anything with core strengthening, which is mostly any exercise. but also, bicycle crunches and lying on my back with my legs straight up, then lowering my legs very very slowly, usually counting to 8 or 10, never touching the ground, then bringing them back up and doing it again. if you need further explanation just pm me. i know its kinda confusing lol. oh and whenever your doing ab exercises or anything for that matter, keep your stomach in! dont let it hang, this will keep your ab muscles strong which will hold in your stomach more. i also have other exercises but this post is getting long. just pm me if you want more!! |

| if you want a real number that is gonna be more accurate than C-C, invest in a heart rate monitor. i just got one recently, and now I don't feel like I have to guess if the numbers are right. I love mine! :o) | |||

| well i kind of have to build muscle. not for the appearance, but i am an army rotc cadet so i have a physical fitness test every month. the better you do, the better you look in the eyes of the cadre. my requirements are to do push ups/sit ups/2-mile run. so muscle building is pretty important to me at this stage. though i do not want to look like a body builder, haha. | |||

i know its slow, but that number just drives me crazy! but in the end i know its how you feel and look that counts. no one else sees the number on the scale bsides you. maybe i should just not weight myself, ahah. its just so addicting. i think i will stick to what i'm doing. i can see results, just wish it was faster haha. but i want the weight to stay off so i'm not gonna starve myself and then gain it back right when i up my cals. and i definetly have been doing weight training. i do cardio most days and go to body sculpting classes at least two days a week and i go to kick boxing and yoga. i lift my weights, no worries there. its just all i see is this layer of fat that i want to get rid of. lol. i guess ill just keep chugging along. thanks again! |

| wow! our stats are almost identical. i'm 5'5" currently 139-137. goal weight 125. i'm having trouble losing the weight too. i've been on here since early june and i've lost 3 lbs. i would also like some tips :) nice post paro! | |||

| i think as long as you have 1200 net calories a day youre fine. with my bmr i burn 1700 on a typical day so that means i only get a 500 cal deficit if i eat 1200 WITHOUT exercise. if i do exercise say burning 300 cals i should eat 1500 cals just to have 1200 net cals. some people can have higher deficits depending on the individual person. its different for everyone. | |||

i don't know if im about to start my cycle because that has been all thrown off since i started working out hardcore. i was supposed to get it in the beginning of the month, and nothing yet. its kinda freakin me out, haha. and i'm def. eating enough cals because i wasn't before and i recently make sure to only eat a 500 cal deficit everyday. nothing too extreme so i know i'm getting all my cals. i really don't know why im doing it. im pretty sure its not emotional cause nothing has really changed. thats why its so annoying. i think just some days i don't have any control. i just want everything in sight. |

| hey. i'm not really a college athlete, but i do rotc, which might as well be considered a sport. i never really tried maintaining or losing during the school year. i kinda just let myself go. i figured "oh, i'm doing a lot fo exercise, i can eat or drink anything" yea, that didn;t work out too great. though i didn't gain much weight, i was not happy with my body transformation. this coming year will be a first for me trying to lose and go to school.
just wanted to say good luck with everything. it will be hard, but i know we can do it!! :o) |

| mine looks pretty much like that excpet the color of mine is deep red/brownish. yea, gross lol. but thanks for the help! i think ill just have to push through it. i walked friday for 45 min on the treadmill and almost couldnt walk on my foot the rest of the night. i had to ice it and try to stay off it, but i have to run. just gotta push through. :o) thanks again! | |||
