5 pounds since the beginning of jan is nothing. Try 13 since christmas! and 24 in the full last year.

My doctor never said anything to me either when I was 180 pounds at 5'3''...which is worse than your case.

I just realized this past weekend, to forget about it on weekends. Dont eat just cause its there, but eat it if youre hungry and its the only thing around but dont just use it as an excuse to eat and eat and eat. You only live once enjoy it! just be good during the week! Its still possible to lose weight. There are 5 of 7 nights to be good. (if you go out both nights) thats pretty good as long as you stay on track teh rest of the week.

For once I had sooo much fun because I forgot about it.
although whenever Im drinking, foods dont appeal to me. So I eat dinner and thats that for food.

oh boy did I have a bad day yesterday

I had yogurt and cereal then had a pb honey sandwhich, a chicken sandwhich, a tuna wrap, 1/2 a cinnimon bun, a donut, went to my friends had 2 fresh white buns by themselves, another sandwhich, a bunch of jelly bellies, about 10 chocolate kisses, 2 other chocolate stick things, 2 pot of gold chocolates, a granola bar, some crackers with cheese, 4 werthers, and probably some more I forgot.

first thing that came to my mind was when you can see veins in their forearms!

Also if you watch in some movies like when guy actors are like getting angry / are yelling and almost start to cry and clench their teeth really hard and you can see it in their jaw and temple.

It may not have anything to do with it. I am 5'3'' and 144 pounds and I havent had min for about 5-6 months now either. I went and got my blood tested and I have nothing wrong with me.

I am 5'3'' and 16 and I am 144. A year ago I was 125 and before that I was 180. So I just started trying to lose it again and Im aiming for 1200, but usually go over. My goal is to be down 14 pounds by may 16th. sooner would be better, and Im expecting the last 5 is going to be reaaaallly hard so Im aiming for 125 by the time school lets out for summer.

yes it's possible. but I would aim for 30. Then thats like losing half a pound a day...and for someone who is 250 pounds they tend to lose more faster...especially at the beginning. when I was losing I would lose a pound everday...and I was eating enough, and I was eating what I wanted just smaller portions. Unfortunately it gets harder after the first few months....adn extremely hard the last 10-20. But don't be in a rush, and dont get obsessed with weighing. If you arent seeing the resaults you want it can make you unhappy and trigger you to want to eat more.

Im on the same boat, well with gaining. I was 180 made it down to 125 in a little less than 2 years. And this past year I just could take it anymore and now Ive gained back 20.

I guess you could say Im fat because I eat, and I eat because Im fat.

I really have no words of wisdom for you because I am just as lost.

I am a binger. for sure. yesterday I had 2800 cals, and toda 4800.
Im so lost dont know how to get through this rough patch. Its been a year that I've been doign it and Ive gained 20 pounds. which I want to get off by summer.

I had a friend who I knew was smaller than me. And she kept saying she was fat and stuff and made me feel really big, and it got to a huge competition. This lead to some ED behaviors..exsessive excersize and restricting once I got to 1200-1300 cals even if it was 1 in the afternoon, I would try to not eat the rest of the day and just obsessing over calories in general. So then she started some rumours about me and I stopped hanging out to her and barely I barely talk to her anymore. Probabaly THE BEST thing I have ever done, and  I dont regret it at all.. she was a **** friend. And now I have made some improvments and stopped caring so much I guess just because I dont feel I have any competition, and Ive realized its not all about calories, its also what you get the calories from.

Love handles. They bug the crap out of me and Im not talking I have little tiny ones Id like to get rid of meaning they are unporpotionate to my legs...My legs are reletively small they could use some toning. My stomach is also flat if you look from teh side veiw Im just REALLY wide the other way and have big love handles.


I hate having to buy high-rise pants to suck them in. I would love to be able to wear lower pants without spilling out the top even though I am classified as normal I think I could lose 10-15 pounds.

holy sounds like youre reading my mind! from like july-before christmas for the most part stayed between 130-135 then christmas came and I made it to 139....now I will have like a couple good days and lose a pound, then binge and then starve myself the next day I am now 141 pounds! in the morning naked....the binging cycle is hard to break....today has been my frist decent day for about a week....for the past 2-3 weeks my calories have ranged from 2200 on a good day anywhere up to 4100!

I have splenda and theres usually 2% milk when Im out at coffee places at home I have skim and stevia, way healthier.

I tried to have sugar in my coffee the other day cause the place I was at didnt have sweetener and I needed like 5 packets before I could even taste it, sweetener is the way to go.
