Loosewindow- Thanks! It's rough but my husband and I are going to be able to buy a house way sooner!! You are right....working at the  restaurant is hard work so I will have to just start working out on my days off and then when I get used to it, maybe I can work out for a little while before my morning job sometimes. Thanks for the advice and I will not make myself sick because I love sleep way too much!!

runner_girl- I feel you! I also salute you for your hard work. You are a much stronger person than I...I'm not sure what 4:45am looks like! Be careful!

Well...I am down to 171 (down 3 lbs!!)...so it's going ok so far. I think it is going to start coming off a lot faster because one of my down falls is snacking at night. I just got a second job and am going to be working some nights and weekends. It is at a restaurant so I will be around wonderful foods, but I am not allowed to eat anything on the clock and by the time I get off the kitchen is closed. So I will be making more money and snacking less and burning more calories by waiting tables. Hopefully I will see a difference. Hope everyone has a great week!!

I would also like to join the group!! I am starting my diet again today! I am almost 24, 5'4', 174 lbs.... So I have a while to go, but as of right now I am very motivated. It sounds like everyone is doing great!!! I will keep you all posted on how my 1st 10 lbs is coming off. Good luck to everyone!!!!

You need to switch your workout from low intensity to high and back again. From your workout description I think that you are trying to do an entire rountine at the highest intensity you can. You will help your body a lot more and lose weight faster if you change it up. Try a fat burn route on the elliptical- it will take you from level 1 to level 8 a few times. Also, remember that after your cardio you need to do some strength training because your muscles burns fat. And think about it seriously- whose body would you rather have: a marathon runner or a track star? I would take the toned and tight track stars body. People that do a lot of cardio without weights are thin but jiggly. No offense to anyone. I just started my gym routine. Good Luck!

I am new here also. I am 23, 5'4" and I started at 174 last week. I am now 170. I would like to start comparing calories and workout tips. My goal is 125 so I have a while to go. Any help for me would be great too!
