No change, but I’m actually not disappointed about that at all.  However, I think I might update my goal weight to give me a little bit more a challenge in this last week.

Running late with posting, but better late than never.  I'm a little disappointed with this week, but not surprised. I went to the gym 4 times over the week, which is great, but I also ate a lot.  On the plus side, even though my weight is is basically the same I'm starting to notice improved muscle tone in my legs thanks to the running/walking at the gym.  So I still feel pretty good about the week.

I wasn't feeling that great this past week on account of being under the weather and I think that was the reason for most of my weight loss; normally I don't lose weight this quickly.  Any pointers on how to prevent a rebound and keep it off?


For a little background on me...I don't keep a daily calorie log (I'm too lazy and then just get discouraged), but I do try to eat small meals, limit my calories from coffee and juices, and walk to work daily.  I also just joined a gym so that I can learn to play squash.  It's really fun and gets the heart working hard.

So I did a little better this week in terms of eating, only over eat on 2 days, but exercise was another issue, I only got 3 days done of six.  I think I need to re-think my plan and come up with something that is more integrated with my everyday activities.  All in all I’m at 45 points, which at least is an improvement on last week and I also managed to maintain my current weight of 157 lbs.  I have to say I’ve was stuck at 160 lbs. for so long that I’m pretty thrilled to be at 157; I have to double check just to believe it.

I’ll be traveling for the next week and a half, so I wont be able to report in next Monday.  I know that my diet is going to get missed up, but I will at least try not to over eat too much.  I just hope to come back at the same weight as I am now.  If I manage that I will be happy.

I did not fair well last week, I don’t even want to try to figure out how few points I may have earned.  However, I found I don’t eat as much as I use to. Even on the days I over eat (based on my goal calorie intake), I’m still below my maintenance amount.  The same can be said for my exercise in a way; since my exercise is pretty basic, i.e. walking to work and doing yoga at home, I found that even on the days I don’t manage to do the yoga I still try to stay active to compensate, even if I don’t award myself points for it.

Long and short of it is, by having to report to someone I have found myself making small improvements that seem to be helping.

Last week: 159.5 lbs

This week: 157 lbs :)

I weighted in at 159.5 this morning.  It’s a bit up since last Tuesday (I missed last Monday), but I’m still feeling pretty good.  My aim was less than 1400 calories each day, and I only slipped up on two days, so 25 point there.  As for working out, I also missed two days.  Leaving me with a grand total of 50 points.

I’m not happy about it, but now I’ve ever more motivated about the up coming week.  I’m eager to improve my score!
