I never wouldn't found Haribo Gummy Bears if it weren't for my boyfriend. He's obssessed with them! Anytime we're at the store or gas station he's buying two bags. And of course I;m eating them too! They're delicious!! My boyfriend is in the Airforce and just moved to Germany where, as it was said before, is the headquarters, i just know I'll be in t rouble anytime I visit him!!I've bought the juicy juice gummies as a little replaement. Not as good, but it helps thw withdrawls!

I love Project Runway too! I thought it was motivating, except for when the designers ranter for a moment about working with 'normal sized models'. But then thank goodness, one designer (the lingere designer, i forgot his name) said that he loved working with natural women. Right on!

I agree. I picked up running about 3 & 1/2 months ago, and it's toned not only my legs but, cinched in my waist. Running for like 30 minutes a day, 4 times a week, and you'll see results. Good Luck!

Todays weight: 147 (still ugh)

Goal: 135-140

I'm about to go back to school too, while I'm in an apartment, I've found some amazing foods that don't require cooking or even keeping cool. Other than fruit, I absolutely love Pirate's Booty Rice Snack. It's not rice cakes, it's like popcorn and rice cakes combine, and it's white cheddar flavored.. trust me, everyone i know who's tried it dieting or not, loves it!! I love all of the 100 calorie packs too, and luna bars are amazing. Also, VitaMuffins are an amzing 100 calorie muffin, my favorite is the chocolate chocolate chip

If you've got maybe 5 minutes then I love this one,

Split open a 100 calorie English Muffin, Place fat free turkey on each side, then split a slice of cheese and place on top. Place in toaster oven or oven until the cheese melts, So good and similar to mcdonalds breakfest snadwiches. Only 175 calories..

Oh gosh yes!! Currently I can see working out all day long and staying mmotivatd, although all I want to eat is chocolate if I am hungry.. But in between my cycles.. boom, you couldn't PAY me to workout. I struggle to overcome it and have yet to find a cure, hmm..I'm thinking I'll just try walking at least when it gets hard, I suppose it's better than nothing.

Nature's Own Bread is sold in a lot of places I think. You can buy Wheat, white, or sourdough for 40 calories per slices. It's amazing too!! I can't eat enough of it.

Weight Loss Any College Kids Trying To Lose Weight?? Aug 02 2007

Wow I'm really glad that I started this post, I knew I couln't be the only College Kid here. I'm so excited to hear from all of y'all. I've been reading everyone's posts, and I can hear a few incoming freshman and some concerns.

First of, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't drink my freshman year. It's very true that a lot of weight gain can come from alcohol because you'll be drinking a few, not thinking about calories, and often by the end of your night, not remember how many you've had. Try very hard to keep that in mind and attempt to make a limit for yourself with is smart for several reasons. If you don't suceed with that, exercise girl and make up for your calorie dirnks.

Also, the cafeterias aren't necessarily filled with horrible foods. It's just that it's way easier (as it is everywhere in life) to choose the pizza or hoagie roll that's sitting next to the salad instead. Plus, it's not all salads, there's grilled chicken, or fruit, or veggies, you know how to do it.. Think smart though, and don't let the food comfort you when you miss home because you will trust me!

Finally, your roomates I highly doubt with steal your healthy food. Don't get me from, for every bunch of great roomates, sometimes you can get assigned a bad apple. But if it's possible bring your on fridge, or if you're in an apartment like I am, nicely implement a rule that everyone buys their own foods and eats that, not each others. There's nothing rude about it, I hate coming home drooling for strawberries or my sushi only to find my roomate finishing off the lasts of it.

I absolutely love grocery shopping, so I can make new finds.. It's just a matte of getting me to the REC center for the exercise classes, once I'm there it's all gold. I'm living closer this year, and making smaller goals so I don't get discouraged. Sometimes it's like I'll never be satisfied, but I try very hard to look at my improvements thus far.

Some of my favorite easy foods are Nature's Own Bread (most are 2 slices for just 80 Cal), Sushi (Cali rolls are usually 30 Cal each), Thomas' 100 cal English Muffins, Egg Beater(Southwestern Style), and for my sweet tooth when I don't want all the diet foods and WW ice creams (even though they're good), I buy the packages of 8 Reese's cups. for just 80 Calories each cup, it's easy to reserve for dessert. . Oh also, HOSTESS makes shortcake cakes for just 100 calories, SO good.

I vote in favor of the doughnut.. At least for me, If i deprive myself completely of something I really want.. I'm headed for a fall. I take it because you went through the process of asking all of us.. that you really want it. Go for it today, not again for a while. But treat yourself, you deserve it!

Thank y'all so much. It's nice to know that I'm not alone. You're right though, it's not everyday.. but sometimes you get a glimpse that you either love and or absolutely hate. I'll just keep focusing on the health aspect and that I would hate to loose my curves if I lost too much. Thanks!
