| PS I take no offense to being called an idiot. If you called me an idiot in person I probably wouldn't think twice about it. It took me about 5 minutes to find the 'insult' she was referring to... | |||

| I agree that binging is "in the eye of the beholder".
I was more referring to jess' comment. The orginal poster may or may not have binged, I just hear a lot of people use the term loosely. I was in no way attempting to say that the original poster should or shouldn't have used that word. I was just saying that some people are very sensitive about that and we should attempt to respect that. |

| yes it is just a word and we know what you mean, but there are a lot of people here who have very serious problems with REAL binges... it is understandable that they would find it irritating that you refer to choosing to eat a couple extra helpings of a nearly calorie-free food as a binge, whereas they struggle to not lose control and inhale several dozen cookies in a half an hour. We all have our struggles. | |||

| Alcohol has 7 calorie/gram. I second the above, keep in mind that most people get drunk faster if you mix with diet pop... an added bonus for some perhaps ;) | |||

| Foods | How do you count the calories in one bite???? | Aug 23 2007 15:11 (UTC) |
|
| I'm a grazer so that's how I keep track of most foods... potato chips? probably 10-15 calories/chip, depending on the kind and the size. | |||

| Yep, muttlover's right... especially veggies! The cereal she is referring to is excellent as well, I like Fiber One (General Mills) MUCH better than All Bran (Kellogg). If you don't like it plain (I do but...) try mixing it in with other cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, etc. There's a ton of recipes you can find that use it for pie crusts, breading on meat, all kinds of things. | |||
