Shannon, Dave, & boys...

I want to let you know that we are still thinking of you, and as a mom, I would never ever want this outcome, but the not knowing  would have killed me forever. Always wondering if its him your seeing? Going for a Sunday srive, and thinking you see his blazer. I sure hope that things start to heal, and everything starts in  a new direction for you and your family soon.

With Deepest Sympathy, prayers and wishes...

Trisha

I think of that stuff only when Im HUNGRY!!!! Eat healthy food and DO NOT let yourself get HUNGRY.. have a snack planned or your meal.. and when your hungry EAT IT! If not.. you try and hold off and the temptation OVERPOWERS YOU! Snack on healthy foods the temptation goes away! We sell CANDY BARS and ect... here 3 feet from my desk.... I am an over eater.............. so I have a question for you...... How does this SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM? Its doesnt.. You have to learn to deal with the PROBLEM that got you in trouble in the FIRST PLACE!

I learn to PRE_PORTION everything at ONE TIME when your NOT HUNGRY so you actually MEASURE YOUR FOOD instead of just dumping your cereal in a bowl and haveing NO CLUE ON WHAT REALLY IN THERE! If you have serious questions..... ASK ME!! I will expplain how I did it.. but this will not solve your problem. and If you lose the weight...... what happens NEXT?
Weight Loss Calorie Deficits for the really big people.... Oct 16 2007

I started weighing 363 lbs  my BMR was 2900 cal... I ate like 1700 but I worked out on teh elliptical for an HOUR 7 days a week.... burning 700-1200 cal depending upon when I first started exercising to after it was routine!  But I held an average of 1300 cal deficit OVER 6 months straight! however working out as much as I did.. with aquacise 2 days a week on TOP on the elliptical... I needed the extra food for energy! HEALTHY FOOD!

But overall... yes its possible... and as you lose...... that magic # drops.. so that deficit gets smaller!

The unspoken secret is that the label doesn't matter. If we want to lose weight, we don't eat  potato chips, candy bars, or ice cream. Period. No matter what the package says. Deep in our psyche, we know what we can eat (very little) and what we can't (a whole bunch). Allowing ourselves to be misled is only a fashionably acceptable way to fool ourselves, and we know it. We buy into the hype because we want, so badly, to believe. We want to think that we are doing the right thing, that we're really trying, that our motivation is pure.

I sure hope if you really think about that..... you understand where Im coming from!

First thing is first:

THANKS FOR THE SHOUTOUT LADY!!!! (( HUGS ))

Sorry I missed your dayin glory here! I have been busy * avoiding CC for a reason * But Im back! I am so proud of you. I know what it felt like to get out of the 300's....... Don't give up EVER! Don't give in EVER! I have waisted 3 good months of LOSING to being TOO BUSY! I never open up like this in public.. but its YOU! I want YOU to know...... I promise you the day will come when you feel comfortable with your weight loss. as if you DESERVE to take a break. Its only then that you take that break....... that you get UNCOMFORTABLE AGAIN realizing that you still have weight to lose.. and its feels like WASTED TIME! You are my rock.

Being honest and NOT MEAN! I have said this to you before in PM's... It was hard for me to find someone bigger than me when I weighed 363lbs on here....... and then I lost 118 lbs and was in the 245's ..... I found alot more people that I was finally "UNDER" them.... That is when I realized I needed to try and find others that are on the higher end of the scale to SHOW THEM! YOU CAN DO IT! In that reward to others.. I took a back seat to MYSELF! Now seeing your progress has BROUGHT REALITY BACK INPLAY! So here we GO!!! The scale matching is on.... and I will be posting the pic  of me on the scale here again soon! ( My birthday is tomorrow... and I HAVE BEGGED my hubby for my new camera.. since the old one got wet at the beach) If he knows whats good for him.. It better be there ..... LOL.. Kidding kidding!

Girl you got it going on.... I would have been balling at the clinic anyways!!! and when EVERYONE asked you why? I would have said, " Because I am working my BUTT OFF literally and I HAVE LOST 75 LBS!

heres another:

http://www.iloveindia.com/nutrition/water/war m-lemon-water-benefits.html

Warm Lemon Water Benefits Warm lemon water serves as the perfect good morning drink, as it aids the digestive system and makes the process of eliminating the waste products from the body easier. It prevents the problem of constipation and diarrhea from taking place, by ensuring smooth bowel functions. Read further to explore information about hot lemon water benefits?

Lemon is a vitamin C rich citrus fruit that enhances your beauty, by rejuvenating skin from within and thus bringing a glow on your face. One of the major health benefits of drinking lemon water is that it paves way for losing weight faster, thus acting as a great weight loss remedy. Lemon water flushes out body toxins and thus is extremely beneficial for the body.

Lemon, a fruit popular for its therapeutic properties, helps promote your immune system and thus, protects you from the clutches of most types of infections. It also plays the role of blood purifier. Lemon is a fabulous antiseptic bestowed on us by Mother Nature. Limewater juice works wonders for people having heart problem, owing to its high potassium content. So, make it a part of your daily routine to drink a glass of warm lemon water in the morning and then open your gateway to enjoy its health benefits.

Honey in Lemon or Lime Water? Since we started blogging about the health benefits of lemon water I have received lots of questions from people wondering if it is ok to put a spoonful of honey into their lemon water to sweeten it up (as recommended on other websites and a few books). The short answer is no.

Honey is obviously sugar, and although ?natural? - the effect on the body is the detrimental whether sugar is natural or not.

I found this here: here is the link.. I also copy & pasted it for people who dont like using links:

http://www.energiseforlife.com/wordpress/1002 /lemon-water-alkalising-superstar

Almost as cunningly simple in its title as ?green drink? - lemon water is quite blindingly straightforward in its makeup: it is water with lemon squeezed in. Could it be any easier?

The beauty of lemon water is that it is tasty, refreshing and best of all, alkalising. The lemon juice raises the alkalinity of the water so even with standard tap water you can make your drink pH neutral.

However, for the full lemon water effect: distilled/ionised water with Alkalive?s pH booster (or Prime pH or another pH drop) and lemon creates the ultimate alkaline water. The trick however, is to have the water lukewarm. If the water is too hot or too cold then it will cause the body to expand energy in order to process it. Lukewarm water also has that comforting feeling to it?

I know a lot of you know about lemon water already, through reading/learning about alkalising or through Gillian McKeith (who also recommends lemon water on rising) - but it is always a good thing to reinforce the basics.

So What Are the Benefits of Drinking Lemon Water?

Apart from being an amazing body alkalizer/alkaliser, lemon water also gives the following health benefits:

  • Lemons are antiseptic
  • Lemon water has excellent digestive properties and can ease heartburn, bloating and other digestion problems
  • Lemon water cleanses and stimulates the liver and kidneys
  • Lemon juice contains calcium, magnesium and potassium
  • Lemon juice has been known to relieve asthma
  • Lemon water (hot) offers relief from cold and flu symptoms while providing some much needed Vitamin C
  • Lemon juice is a great skin cleanser
So if you do not do anything else - start every single day with a glass of lovely lemon water!
