| i recently discovered something amazing from ipod+nike. if you go to Itunes and under music there will be a nike playlist. You can download these work out mixes and they are about 45 minutes each. The music is amazing and it's like having a trainer in your ear. He guides you through a treadmill work out using High Intensity Interval Training. Highly recommended.
I downloaded the 'OkGo' treadmill training at it is AWESOME. It's worth ever penny of the $15 it cost. |

| The Lounge | Alcohol at what age? | Jun 25 2007 01:40 (UTC) |

| hi, im 20 years old now and i just want to share a method that will get your child to respect alcohol and drink moderately
On my 15th birthday i had 4 of my best girl friends over and i asked my mom for some drinks (i have known them my entire life, their parents were okay with them drinking at home) .. To my surprise they let us play drinking games and let us get completely hammered. The next morning, all FOUR of us were hugging the toilet and walking around the house with buckets which would fill with puke every 20 minutes or so (sorry about the visual). They also took pictures of us the night of and the morning after. It's been 5 years now ... and i have never gotten to the point of total intoxication. What they did showed me the ugly side of alcohol and completly satisfied my curiosity. Oh and the pictures were not so pretty either.. they definetly showed me how stupid we all looked. Im not telling yout o get your daughter drunk (not for a couple years or so) but its a good way for her to see what it's all about (because eventually it will happen) and at least you will be around to make sure things dont get out of hand hope this helped. |

| hey,
Well i'm kind of on the same boat but with ab exersices. I did find a solution that makes situps fun though! Lay on the floor with your knees bent and hold a medecine ball over your head (bend your elbows a little). Then have a friend stand on your feet. As you sit up toss the ball to your friend and on the way down have him/her toss it back to you... i find it fun good luck |

| Fitness | Will this even work...? Question about muscle gain. | Jun 24 2007 08:42 (UTC) |

| Rmember, muscle weighs ALOT more than fat.
Stick to your regular diet+exersise but add some strength training. If anything, have a protein smoothie 1 hour before training. if you do this and see the scale going up you'll know that you're gaining muscle..not fat :) or you can do my fave, pilates. you'll gain lean, long muscles with minimal weight gain and maximum toning. g'luck |

| i make mine with whole wheat pita bread.
I take a pita and put it in the toaster until it's nice and crunchy, then i put some red pasta sauce (about a table spoon or so) and shredded cheese and then put it in the oven at 250 for about 5/7 minutes. .. yum. |

| personally, i dont go by scales. Its happend many times to me that i step on the scale and it tells me one weight then i step off and back on and it tellsme a diffrent one. This will go on for about 3/4 times..... i like the oldschool ones not the digital. | |||

| hey girls, im 19, 5'7 and 149... and there is nothing in this world that i love more than food but....but i dont love my love handles. so let me give you some of my tips.
1. i, used to weigh 125 and thought i was fat then. Then i got into a relationship and put on another 25. I'd kill to be back where i was. What im trying to say is, love yourself and always remember staying the same is a helluva lot better than moving up 2. When i go out to eat i usually ask them not to bring bread and i load up on at least 3 glasses of water with lemon. It helps fill you up and the lemon makes it taste alittle better (if u must, sprinkle some splenda in there). 3. Make an awesome playlist for your ipod so you dont get bored at the gym. 5. I like to read fitness magazines alot ... they mostly all say the same thing but they get my mind into 'fit mode' and it makes me excited about my work out. 6. Stick to a strict routine for about a week...they minute you start to see results you'll be addicted to working out. hope this helps! |
