| No I am not over weight. But whats wrong with having ice cream once in a while for snack? Its not like I have 2 containers full every day. Maybe like a half a cup per week. I'm not argueing or anything, but i'm just saying I thought it was OK to treat yourself every now and then. | |||

| dont worry i get the same way! It doesn't mean your not fit its just your body type. You must be working hard if you swaet a lot but on the other hand you could just sit there and sweat like a pig like me. LOL just drink lots of water. | |||

| I'm a teen so i'm still growing. Heres one of my typical breakfasts:
2 slices of multigrain french toast and instead of syrup, I use a little bit of honey. Did you know its good for the ammune system? 1 cup of 100% orange juice 1 banana 1/2 cup low fat blueberry yogurt |

| Milk is very impostant! How old are you. Teens and young adults should drink at least 3 cups of milk a day with some other milk products such as low fat yogurt or cheese. This is because when you get older your bones will get weaker and stop producing calcium or soemthing along those lines. But, if you don't want to get osteoporosis when you get old this is the best time to drink milk. If you are so worried about the taste get some sort of sweetener. use it on your milk but dont use too much. doing this is better then having no milk at all. but dont stop drinking milk whatever you do. | |||

I'm 14 and my name is lauren. I used to be so obsessed with my weight and so I started starving myself. I got really really sick and it just wasn't worth it. I was trying to think of a solution so I thought eating healthy would do the trick. I never talked to my parents but i did convince them to buy me healthy foods. I excercised a lot because my metabolism was so low from not eating but i was starting to get better from my very healthy eating. I understand now that at our age we need as many vitamins and minerals as we can get. If you dont stop hurting yourself you will have a very unlucky future. If you ever need anyone to talk to i'm here. |

| There is no recommended daily allowance (RDA) for sugar. In fact, some experts believe we need no sugar at all. On the other hand, weight loss surveys have shown that diets containing very small amounts of sugar are less easy to stick to.
Official US Guidelines advise a maximum of 40g refined sugar for every 2000 calories consumed. This equates to 8 percent of calories. Note: Refined sugar is not only table sugar - it includes the sugars in a wide range of processed foods (e.g. breakfast cereal). So remember to read food labels and choose lower-sugar brands. |

| Usually bread will only go moldy if its not in the fridge where it is warm like in a cupboard and it takes like a week, the fridge is cold so it will take a long time like more than a week for it to go moldy. | |||

| I don't know about this but everybod's body is different. We all come in different shapes and sizes so some of us might need more carbs than others. Did you know that each carb = 4 calories. Carbs are our main energy source but as long as you eat healthy you should be fine. They wouldn't tell us to eat healthy for nothing:P Just make sure you excersize a bit to burn some extra carbs. Anyway, your breakfast seemed pretty healthy so I wouldn't worry about it. That seems like a really high number and you didn't even eat that much. I think its wrong but thats just me. | |||

I'm taking a food and nutrition course and the teacher who teaches the course is also a geography teacher so shes really smart. Anyway, shes always being aware of studies and the other day she told us about what she saw on the news. A new experiment was conducted and it proved that people who dont get enough sunlight are more likley to get cancer. It had something to do with vitamin C. I can't remember all that she said but when she was talking about it, it seemed to make perfect sence.
