I hope everyone is well, I haven't posted in while. Death in the family, two more beautiful grandsons (5) born witin six weeks of each other, and a grandaughter due Oct 11, that will be 2 , seven total.  WHEW!!!! I just got new glasses, eyes have gotten much worse, had a test to check for diebetes, I'm good, Dr. called today, however my colesteral needs improvement, any suggestions? Dr. said less cheese, butter, animal fat. I really need to get back on track.  Still working hard at 2 jobs. Just got new tile in baths, so nice.  Bonna ,Chris  hope you and yours are all well.  It is Turtle nesting time here, soooo cool to watch.

Hello to all newcomers, Chris you should get that massage if they are to rough TELL THEM they will lighten up, very good body detox. Make sure to drink more water when you get the massage.I know you are getting anxious about the wedding. I have been very busy with both jobs leave home at dark, get home at dark. I find if I eat smaller, more frequently, and drink only water I get a better weight loss, also I don't feel so hungry. It is very helpful to me to know there are others out there who are supportive and going through the same struggle. I LOVE FOOD. Chris you must have will power with all of the bread, Nothing better than fresh homemade bread. Menopause has been awful lately sweats, hot flashes, low energy. I need to drink my Black Cohosh tea.,It seems to help some. Keep up the good work everyone.

Chris I did the same with cal and posting, I want the truth on my average helps to see, easier for me to control when I log. Bonna I think you should try to call now for appt with Dr. if you know who the insurance allows, it seems to take at least a few weeks to get appts with new Drs. around here. I trust you will be well soon You are a strong person and you have the love and support of a nice family.

48 oz h2o, need more exercise, so much to do with holidays. Going for a short walk, then working in the garden,  off the scales this week very discouraged, what a constant struggle. I seem to take off some lbs. and then it seems to come right back faster than ever, more situps and crunches for me, I don't know if the menapause is part of this, but I won't give in. I want this  extra weight gone, can't happen soon enough

My inlaws are in N.C. sort of scattered around. We went gem mining, I did my mother-in-laws hair, we went to the old homestead in Denton on Jackson Hill. Was a great time dispite the rain

Bonna, sorry about your loss. My son and his wife lost their first baby, he lived 1 hr.20 min. They now have 2 beautiful boys and expecting a baby in April. I like to think of their lost baby as our little angel. It is never easy. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I gained 2 lbs. on vacation, ugh. I bought loads of apples and pumpkins while up in Ga. now I have to look for some low cal recipes. It was fun on vacation, just glad to be home. The smokeys are so beautiful, also have a favorite place in Maggie Valley

I don't have the scars on my tummy, but I do have numerous other menapausal issue's, I'm with you on starting an additional forum. I love all my charts and help from CC , however for more PRIVATE chats that would be nice. Went to the dentist today, This might help my binges for now, lol.  Holding my own, lost 1 Lb. Had to exchange some new pants today, I went down a pants size and did'nt realize WOO HOO. Drinking lots of water, seems like we need to take extra with us while we pass through  Ga. Big water shortage

Hello All, I went to therapy for lower back, they gave me stretch bands  you tie on something stationary, put around your ankle and lift leg behind you helps strenghten blower back muscles, also the exercise krismasself and  ohio45 gave are also good for stomach as well as lower back, also lay flat on back bring knees up towards stomach cross one leg over other hold leg that is not crossed over  from underneath, pull leg towards you. Also lay flat on back, arms to your side slightly bend knees turn legs to left side, do same for right side. helps strenghten back muscles, doing as many reps as you can. I have been up and down a few lbs since my surgery, however I havent gained like I thought I would not being able to exercise as much. Has been much to hot to be out to long, my grandchildren dont seem to mind they Love the outdoors no matter how hot or cold. I wish I had their energy, they help get Granny out and keep me going. Have a great healthy week.
