| whatever you do.. don't start eating them. i am in the same boat with you and the ONLY way i found that i could stop myself from overeating sweets is to not start with them. if i have a craving, i try to eat some frozen berries (you can get those at the store for sooo cheap), but as soon as i put that tiny piece of chocolate, or cookie in my mouth, it all goes down hill VERY fast. | |||

| well... if this makes any difference, it is 11:11 pm and i just came back from a run. i don't do this often, but today i just felt the need to run at night. i completely know what you mean about working out in the morning: sometimes i just can't seem to push myself to wake up earlier. i also face the dilemma of "do i drink coffee before or after? should i have a snack?..." so my theory goes, work out when you think you will get the most out of it and be able to burn the most calories. if you don't "feel like it" or don't have the energy to do it at a certain time of day, chances are you will be more lazy about your work out.
i also sneak in little work outs during the day. like climb an extra set of stairs, or sneak in a few squats. this helps to keep my energy up, and my metabolism going. remember just like sneaking in little snacks counts for calories, so does sneaking in a few toning exercises counts for burning calories. |

| Fitness | bored while running | Oct 03 2007 04:06 (UTC) |

| my trainer suggested doing timed intervals: 2 minutes at high speed and then 2 minutes a base level and changing it up. at least it keeps me occupied with the timing. also, pushing yourself to go fast for two minutes is quite tiring and it definitely keeps me focused on when those damn minutes will be over, as opposed to what to do with the rest of my day. so.. maybe this will be more challenging and less boring. | |||

| I totally know what you mean. It may not be your teeth but your gums, which will feel like it's your teeth. It started for me when i first began running. It should ease up with time. I think the reason is because your blood pressure goes up, since your heart is beating faster, more blood pumping etc.. and if your gums are sensitive, you may feel pressure there. | |||
