Dear Muppet15,

I hope you get to read this message. I've been where you are about 20 pounds ago and nowI'm trying to undo the damage. It's been hard, but I've releas ed 4.5 pounds so far in a
week and a half. I hope to keep decreasing slowly and
steadily. I've been told that "slow and steady wins the race." You can do it! Good luck to you.

I weighed in at 185.5 yesterday! The secret? I've just been getting off my butt and combatting the inertia that sets in when I get depressed. Also, I've been swimming 45 minutes 3-4 evenings per week. Nothing too strenuous.

I actually said no to dessert yesterday! This was a big step for me, especially on a Friday night when it tends to be social. I am trying to aim for an intake of 1400 calories per day. I'm eating out at restaurants way less. We're eating in more, cooking our own food. If I absolutely eat out, I opt for a healthier Japanese menu that has way less fat than other types of diets. Also, fighting Public Enemy #1, which is the urge for midnight snacking. That's a hard one, but I notice is the biggest offender of all.

Hi all, it's me again. I weighed in this morning again at 188.5, which tells me a lot of this water weight. Any tips on reducing or getting rid of water weight?

Just weighed in at 189.5, so I'm going to do my best to stay in this club! According to my goal, I have 62.5 lbs to go. Motivation has been hard for me lately, but I'm forcing myself out the door in an hour!
