Don't give up!!  Keep your goals in mind always.  My husband and I are both on kind of a calorie counting and exercise diet if you will.  Calorie-Count.com and a doctor says that my husband should be taking in around 2500 calories a day with mild exercise.  Soooo what we did was we cut his intake down to about 1000-1200 calories per day.  He has seen results this way.  He is not starving himself, he is full always, but we are very careful about the types of foods he eats.  We walk every afternoon and work in our garden.  It is a slow loss, but I can visibly see his loss.  Don't give up, it can work for you too.

My husband was on Wellbutrin for a little while, but he was on it for anxiety and panic attacks.  Sounds like there are lots of uses for it.  It made him sleep alot, so he weened himself off of it too.  My husband and I have both went on a counting calories and exercising type of diet if you want to call it that.  We just watch what we eat and exercise.
