Not bad, when you consider I'm just dieting, not exercising. |

| Here's a link from the National Body Challenge Website that makes sense, as far as why we overeat. http://health.discovery.com/national-body-cha llenge/poll/mood.html Apparently I am lonely and sexually frustrated. ( Which is true! ) lol As was said in another thread, fix the basics and the rest will fix itself! |

| Rolling Rock Green Light is fantastic as a beer (and I am one girl who LOVES a good beer. ) 83 cals, 2.6 carbs a bottle, and from what I've heard it tastes better than Michelob light. When I go on my low carb plateau breakers, I stick to vodka, or some other type of non carby alcohol. Usually a cup or two of that and Coke zero makes me feel quite nice, and it takes a bit to get me drunk. |

| Hanana said : Fix the bad and all the good will follow (weight loss should be like a by product or something) This is sooooooooooo true. I didn't really start getting on the right path until I got strong enough to get out of a horrible relationship. It's the same reason I'm holding off for a relationship right now, even though I have several possibilities, cause I know myself too well, and that as soon as I start dating someone, all my diet rules and what not go right out the window! Stress and emotional eating are big things for me too, so the rule still applies. :D Thank you for the tips hanana! |

| Thanks for the welcomes, ladies! Cycling hurts my ladyparts as well, but have only been one or two times. @Watchmeshine - I remember one day I was in line at the microwave on campus, and this skinny asian girl was looking at me all surprised because all I had was a cup of soup. She kept looking amazed, and said HOW DO YOU LIVE OFF THAT? after a few minutes of questioning, I said," I eat several small meals each day, to try and lose weight." She then decided to patronize me and tell me that I looked healthy and skinny (in a size 26 jeans? yeah okay. right.) and patted me on the shoulder. I wanted to smack the hell out of her twiggy butt. I feel your pain! @dalma & watch - I have those feelings too, where I kick myself for goofing off last year, and not sticking to it. It's okay though, can't change the past, but you sure as hell can change the future! |

| oh good lord. I think probably I should start listing the bad habits I have, so I can be more aware of them and don't let them be all stealthy sneaky on me. copying from yours a bit, hanana :D eat when bored or stressedSit on the computer during weekends and researching Do nothing but go to school, On weekends I eat too much in the morning then when it comes to dinner I don't have enough calorie allowance for what my roommates want Try to cook my own food but always teak the recipe so it's healthier but then it turns out gross. (My roommates have had to recook, plenty of times, but I'm not such a hot chef in the first place lol ) Sometimes procrastinate so I have too much homework to handle at once. Am a perfectionist and once I screw up I let that carry for the rest of the day; "All or nothing" not setting aside a time to actually work out, as soon as I get to a point where I can break through and have a new low weight wise, I sabotage myself for some dumb reason or another, or I feel like I have been depriving myself and I celebrate a little too early and too much. Gah. That last one really hits the nail on the head. Like yesterday for instance. I was at a new low (been stuck at 285 for like, a week or two) and yesterday I had gotten down to 282, so I drank last night, (Low carb low cal Rolling Rock Green Light) and ended up binging on some oreos. Gar. Not a lot though, but enough to make the fact that I looked for low carb low cal beer ridiculous. I wouldn't call it a complete cheat or loss though, cause I ate really well for the other part of the day, and I don't think 7 or 8 oreos can really cause that much damage. Anyways! Will be eating well today. Thanks for the idea Hanana! |

| Hello Ladies! I'm a bit late to all this, but really just now started perusing the forums. I am 23, and I will be 24 in June. Last June I weighed 325 lbs, and I've down right now to about 282 lbs (at weigh in yesterday.) I set a two month goal for the end of february to lose 20 lbs, as I had lost about 30 last year. I'm about 5 lbs away from my end of feb goal, and am trying to give it that last little kick to make it. I just broke a plateau too, which I had been trying to kick for some time. My main problem is roommates.. I'm still in school, and a freshman at that cause of some financial troubles over the past few years, so everyone I hang out with is in that "just got to college and I can eat whatever the hell I want" phase. It sucks so much, but for the most part I have found the willpower to stick to my guns... or at least I have this semester so far! (Don't ask about last semester >.>, all the weight loss done last year was in the summer! ) My ultimate goal is to be not" severely obese" by my 25th birthday, and I have been realizing more and more that I really need to get on the ball if I'm going to make that deadline. Glad to be a part of this, ladies. :) |

| right now, I have been calorie cycling, then low carbing it when I get to a plateau... I lost about 30 in the last year due to atkins and muscle building and cardio, but when school started last semester, I had trouble with roommates and friends constantly cooking stuff that was either too high in calories or non carb, so I didn't get anywhere further than that. This semester I'm trying to make sure I stick to it, diet wise at least, cause my schedule doesn't allow for a lot of time working out. :/ My ultimate goal is to be at least under the severely obese line by my 25th birthday (June of next year.) |

| I'm in, starting yesterday. I too have been sabotaging the hell out of myself lately. My goal for the end of February was to be down 20 lbs (from the new year, when I got back on track with weight loss.) I'm at 15 lbs down, after being stuck for a while. I'm game! | |||
