I am soooo happyyy with this weeks result! Lost 2.6 pounds! I'm feeling healthier, dunno if I'm looking it, but I'm on a roll! I just hope it doesnt dwindle down! How is everyone else doing this week?

Oooh, well then maybe the problem is that you need to exercise a little. Maybe 10-20 minutes a day, since you're a stay at home mom and maybe you don't get a ton of time. I'm sure if you're already eating properly, and then you start exercising, you won't be at that plateau anymore

I'm not really sure if zigzag diets work, but I do know you shouldn't be going under 1200 calories, so on the days that you have 1000, you should up the amount of calories by 200.

What kind of exercise do you do?

I actually got it for free off my sister because she bought it when it first came out, and she didn't get a chance to do it because she got pregnant. But I think the cost was about $150ish? Because it's three payments of 39.95 and shipping and handling which is about $30. It's a ton of money to dish out on a workout, I'm glad she passed it on to me for free.

I am so in! I joined this site a long time ago, and I wanted to lose weight then...and well...I slacked off and gained more weight. So count me in!

Well, like I said, I found this site a looonngg time ago, and I lost some weight, but I slacked off, and since entering University I'm pretty sure I gained 10 or so pounds, on top of the weight that I already wanted to lose. So...I'm ready to lose some weight before I go back to Uni so that I can show off to my ex, that I still am hot, that and so I can look good for myself. I recently started a workout by Shaun T (Beachbody) called Insanity, and I do that about 6 times a week!

Well 1500 isn't a bad amount, and it's enough to lose weight. But is beans all you eat? I don't think that's very good for you if that's all you have. Beans aren't your only source of protein, you should try fitting in chicken, beef, tofu, eggs, etc.

Don't worry, I used to be 130 and I wanted to lose weight then, and I've gained 15 pounds since then, so I need to lose weight too. There are people here for you, so you came to the right place. Sodium is not a good thing for you, I mean it's good in moderation, but you shouldn't be having a lot of it. I'm not sure if you'd lose weight while intaking a ton of sodium, but I know that if you eat the right amount of food, and exercise, then you'll lose the weight. Exercise is a complete must alongside a good diet. So why don't you try walking, jogging or finding something fun to do. Look at the weather, it's great outside, perfect time to go outside and run around a bit.

I have just started Insanity, on Day 2 right now, and let me tell you it so lives up to its name. It is insane. It's hard, its brutal, and when you're doing the workout you honestly just want to collapse on the floor and just stay there, and I've done it a couple of times. You need to take a lot of breaks, because it's just so hard, and I love it. It's great.

Since you burn 2000 calories a day, your deficit should be at least 500, so you can lose a pound a week, which means you should be eating 1500 calories a day.

1400 calories is perfect! You're not eating too much, you're not eating too little. By calculating the deficit, you'll be able to lose a pound per week. Don't overworry yourself, because that can stress you. I know what you feel about overeating..just count your calories, and you'll be fine. Even if you do overeat (which we all do), don't beat yourself up about it. It's okay. Just vow to try to control yourself next time, you can do it!

First of all you're eating waaayy to little. You shouldn't be eating less than 1200 calories a day. One way in which you can get your required calories is by drinking them. Most people on diets are told not to drink things with calories in them because they're simply empty calories, but I think your case is different. So I'd suggest calorie rich shakes..juices, or milk (maybe 3.25%). What time do you go to bed? If you go to sleep later than 8, perhaps you can try to include a snack.

Another way to increase your caloric intake is to have little snacks throughout your day. Maybe cheese and crackers, veggies, or fruits. Usually when one is exercising they tend to feel hungry more and consume more food. Are you depriving yourself of food?

Congratulations! I, myself am a compulsive overeater..just not as bad. I've tried pretty hard to kick out of my bad habit, and so far it's working. What I try to do is to eat healthy, and do plenty of cardio and strength. But, like everyone I have my days where I overeat, so to compensate for it I just do extra cardio, down a few cups of green tea and I feel much better. I know that we all can do it, we just have to put our minds to it.

I eat my cereal in the same bowl everyday..so I'm starting to realize where to stop pouring it in..I just did a few times to make sure I was right though..but with other things, I usually have to measure based on the packaging.

I'd do something less intense....maybe a bit of yoga or stretching..don't overwork yourself, you might tear your muscles.

I don't know if you can firm up without slimming down..maybe you can lift weights, and what not to firm up your body with muscle..

Congratulations, on losing that much! On the weekends, I usually treat myself, and have more calories than I do on the weekdays..I read on a post on this site, that if you eat more on the weekends, it sort of tricks your body and you burn the food off, and lose the weight..not sure if it's credible, but it works for me!

I know how you feel..in cases like these, I eat however much I can and then leave the rest for later. I don't mind eating leftover the next day, as long as I don't binge.

Or, if you don't want to do that, confront your parents and tell them that you're on a diet. Tell them that you understand that they want to treat you, but maybe they could cut it to a minimum...I'm sure they'll understand.

Wow..I'm sure that you can gain the 10 lb...don't be scared about packing in the pounds..just try to eat healthy, and not binge. You can do it, just believe in yourself.
