i had this for 6 or 7 months... i think it was very low iron stores (ferretin)  once they came back up i got it back.

okay that is interesting i guess the fat thing might be possible? mmm i don't keep ttrack of that so its hard to say. i am a vegetarian so i guess i might be low on fat.

I did it! its so hard. i used my fear of my metabolism slowing down as motivation to excercise more... and i find when you excercise more you tend to want to eat less/have less cravings too. Drink lots of water too and don't let yourself to get an addiction to sugar because your body is looking for something else for that pick me up. use excercise! It actually does feel great though when you kick it for real, so good luck.

Aw your right its hard to tell yourself that you will for sure go back to normal after... i'm glad that someone else indulges in a bit of comfort food too, i have let myself have some treats this week but im planning on being v. good fri-tues so hopefully i can negate their effects and get rid of the water weight over the weekend!! thanks :)

things were going pretty well for me (i think)... sticking around 118-120 anyway, but i always weighed myself at work and they took away the scale!! like a week ago, so now i feel lost... i don't really want to go out and buy a scale but maybe i should :S i live with my bf and i know he would think i was crazy if i did that too haha i love 100 cal bags of popcorn!! filling and impossible to overeat...because they are done, good uni student food if i have one of those with a diet dr pepper i feel like i got a good junkfood fix and i literally can't even think of eating more, although not the most healthy snack :S

i am experiencing this RIGHT now... i haven't weighed myself but i can totally feel it and see it in the mirror :( i have eaten alot of salty things too which probably has not helped one bit. mexican food last night and fries with lunch today etc etc, here is the thing, its wednesday night and my bf is coming to town next tuesday - any advice on how to flush it all through by then/?? i know to drink lots of water and everything...this weekend i am planning on being very healthy and low cal and doing that bc i really want to look extra good, does anyone have any other tips?

i was good all weekend weighed in today at 118.2!! but...then disaster struck and i ate so much food at a dinner i had to go to that i can't bring myself to detail again and now i feel horrrrrible and slightly self defeating...sigh

no way this is worse.....ughhso i have been fairly good lately... eating mostly good stuff, maybe could even eat a bit more cals, and today we went to a wedding buffet... IT WAS a disaster for me passed on booze, drank water all night, passed on the first round of appetizers. but then ate soo much chips and dip - very unhealthy cheesy dip - tons of rice, 3 slices of bread with tons of butter, corn on the cobs tons of butter and worst of all=dessert 2 big slices of pie with sooo much ice cream like 10 scoops of it my stomach is killing me. like not from being overfilled but i think possibly the dairy overload i havent been drinking/eating that much of it it hurtsssss i am discouraged just needed to vent i cant even estimate the number of calories i ate today

thanks nycgirl and others!! you are right... I have been 'hovering' at a lower number then before, i am pretty sure i have actually lost 4 or 5 lbs even since starting on this thing a little over a month ago! **cant give up now** starting, 124 (some days up at 126) now i am averaging around 120 or 121 :D

I am joining!! just graduated, starting law school in one month from today! since starting cc about a little over a month ago i have lost about 4 lbs. wanna lose about 5 more before then... especially bc my boyfriend is moving out here to be with me and i want to look good and be in a good routine before that. good luck ladies!

what sucks about having so little to lose is that its so hard to tell if your making progress because fluctuations can put you right back where you started and its frustrating to see after hard work!! right now i seem to be hovering more frequently at a lower weight then i was but i still occasionally see the same number on the scale as i did when i started like...well over a month ago...and i have actually been working at it and going to the gym and watching calories ugh.

see if you can check out Denise Austin 'hit the spot' pilates... there are 6 or maybe 7 individual workouts. 3 of them target specifically that section: abs and wasteline, core, and power abs... each take about ten minutes you don't have to do them together. i have had great results, better then with crunches etc. the same dvd also has a thighs workout i really like.

elle91 you are my twin!! i just graduated college too, alchohol and celebrating/leaving all my friends definitly played a part in me gaining a bit of weight which i am now trying to lose as well, before starting law school in the fall. and dealing with all the stress that comes with it. also just turned 22. this weekend i am going on a roooad trip. ugh drinking and bad food. but lots of fun!! i also like a good vodka cran though for a lower cal option over beer

I do!! My weight is way more distributed in the thigh area so losing those pounds (down to 115) makes a big difference for me there in bathing suits etc as well.

5'6...123...want to be around 115 i like food to much too... so i have trying to be evening it out with excercise? sometimes does not work out so well i have not really lost weight after worrying a whole lot about it ever since i realized i had gained it around the end of march

how is it going for everyone? ? I have been getting lots of excercise but have been a bit less good about calories. i have lost 2 pounds...as of friday...but yesterday was a bad one lots of beer lol. hmmm currently trying to get up motivation to go to the gym...

I hate that... I actually notice the weight i put on in my face as well. so far i am down 1.4 pounds from last week.... could easily be fluctuation, but heres hoping it keeps going down! I love sweets way toooo much.

armywife i know what you mean, a big part of my motivation is the extra boost from knowing my boyfriend notices and appreciates changes in my body as well... currently i am not seeing him until aug22nd, i want to make as much a difference as possible until that! i burn the same amt per day but usually eat way over 1000 cals, well anywhere from moderatly over to lots over :S but trying to curb that

Currently, I am at my highest weight for a while at 124 pounds... I'm about 5'5, I know that most people who I know would think I was Crazzzzy for wanting to lose weight, but for a long time I was at a healthy 112 and would love to get back down around there. My problem was the end of school *graduating, leaving friends, etc.* and drinking BEER and eating BADLY every night. for like a month or 2. seriously soooo unhealthy. I have been trying hard to get back into healthy eating habbits but sometimes it is really hard to say no to junk, especially working in an office where good food is often offered around and coworkers get you to go out for lunch and yeah...it happens. Anyways I just want my clothes to fit as they used to etc...I hate the feeling of your clothes being tight and in your head your like 'wow this used to be so loose on me', i know I look fine but I think its more about how you feel, and i'm glad to find this group of like minded/ similar goal people because like i said, its like almost impossible to talk to people about losing weight when all they will say is you look fine. Soooo there is my story i want to join the club!!
