Hi

You are doing great! Maybe you need to separate your struggle to lose weight with "who you actually are". You may be the heaviest girl in your class, but you have other parts of you that are not just weight. And not all slim girls are "brilliant". Some are actually quite annoying and self-centered. I teach high school so I see all kinds of kids. Would they have the self-discipline you have displayed? I doubt it.

Hi

I fairly new to dieting and also trying to reduce my wine drinking. So I have turned to diet coke as a way to help. It is good to have this site and get good health info no matter what the motivation. Thanks to you all for sharing and making me smarter.

Hi

I have never had a weight problem until the last 3 years (I am 55, female). I now fight to keep weight a 156 but I really need to get back down to 147. Right now I would like to see 150 by end of April.

I am pretty good about exercise, but need to reduce my wine drinking and my midnight snacking.

I am glad i found a place to get some support.
