| Hi Girls,
Sounds like everyone is doing great! Congratulations to all of you. :) I had a whirlwind of a summer and now am home and getting ready to setttle in for the winter. At five feet tall, I'm 93 pounds exactly today, 27 pounds lost, ( as I've gained a few back ) and think I look ok now, except I really need to tone up! With the feel of winter in the air, I've been a little down and have had to force myself to get out and walk. I already feel like curling up under a blanket and just hibernating until spring. Wouldn't that be nice? If only it were possible. I haven't counted calories in a month and I guess I had better get back on the wagon, or all this hard work is going to go right down the drain. I got too thin, down to 85 pounds, but started eating more and now I feel and look healthy, friends and family say I look better now. :) Keep up the good work everyone and I'll try to do the same. Thanks so much for the replies to my post on the previous page. :) I am happy to add that I am now 91.5 pounds! I've gained three pounds over the past several days. I'd like to be 93 - 95, that would be perfect for my frame. At 91 pounds I feel better, and my arms look much much better, fuller. I can wear short sleeves again because I've got some fat back on me. Thanks to the box of Twinkies I've been eating on every day. ( Well not actually eating on the box, lol ) Tonight I had a barbeque and had a few friends over, and I really ate good. I'm stuffed! Everything was so good, I had to sample it all. :) I've got two more short vacations planned before the end of summer, then it's time to look towards winter I guess, and maintaining my weight. It's going to be interesting to see if I can actually do it. I sure hope so. Because it would sure be discouraging to gain back all this weight I worked so hard to lose. Just returned from a little vacation and am catching up with your posts now. Looking back on my last post with my stats, no idea why the weird letters, except I tried to paste some of my stats from a previous post and somehow all that gibberish got attached.......oh well. The weight numbbers were right anyway, lol. Olivia, Ikahead, Immom, Puppy Kisses and Chris, and anyone else I missed, thanks for your replies! I've had family reunions etc, so have been gone alot this summer, but am trying to eat better. Even though I ate good while I was away, I did dip down to 85 pounds. But the funny thing is, I didn't get any comments from relatives, other than I was so tiny, and " Eat! Eat! " LOL. And eat I did, lots of rich pasta and jello salads, and cheese cake! I'm up to 88 now, and I feel great. Lots of energy. I'm only five feet tall, so that's probably why I didn't get a lot of concerned comments from anyone. A few said to me, that as short as I am I can pull off weighing so little, but I need to be careful and maintain this weight at the very least. I have a new hair cut. A long page boy, ( to my shoulders ) lots of short layers around my face, and styled so it kind of kicks out too. I love it! I'm 40 ish now, and I'm being told I look like I'm in my early 30's, so I LOVE that! :) I feel good about myself. I can finally say, I actually feel pretty again, now that my face is thin again, and I can see the contours and my cheek bones. And I believe it when I'm told I am pretty, so that makes me feel good too. I feel like a whole new person after losing 30 pounds. Way too much extra weight for my small frame. No wonder I felt miserable and sluggish all the time. Just puttered around.............as if I were 300 pounds overweight instead of 30. And the energy I have now amazes me! I can't sit still for very long..........always something I want to be doing, lol. Life is very good right now! My facial skin seems to have snapped right back,so that makes me feel happy. I was so worried about sagging! :( That is why I lost this weight so slowly, as I wanted to prevent the saggy skin that always seems to go with losing weight. I did/do lots of toning exercises and even facial exercises! I still have a lot of areas to work on..........cellulite on my thighs, etc. But I'm going to keep at these exercises. :) Have a great weekend girls, and I will talk to you later! Rachel |

Hi Friends,
I'm a day early weighing in, but here goes, and I'll revise if I weigh more in the morning, which I think and hope I will. :) I didn't exercise today at all, and ate quite a bit. I've decided it's now time to eat back any exercise calories I burn. In the beginning I thought that idea was crazy. How in the world could I lose if I ate back what I burned off. Dumb I thought. Well now I'm to a point where if I do excercise I must eat more. I tried on some sleeveless tops and do not like my arms this thin, so I won't wear anything but a 3/4 sleeve until I gain a few more pounds. I never thought I'd be saying that in my lifetime. I never imagined days could fly by either, where my mind wasn't constantly consumed with the idea of what I was going to eat from one minute to the next. But my body finally adjusted to eating significantly less, and somedays I actually don't quite eat enough calories to even maintain, let alone gain. I was used to eating as if I were a 6 foot tall man, instead of the five foot zero woman I am, lol. At one time I could out eat any man, ( although I never let anyone know!) and it's a wonder I didn't weigh more than I did. Because in private I could polish off a medium pizza in less than 30 minutes! January 1st I weighed 120, today I weigh exactly 90 pounds. I'd like to get up to 95..........well not really like to, but know I should, so I am going to work at it. My Doctor would like me to get up to 100, but we'll shoot for 95 first. As I said earlier, I got addicted to exercise and that can be dangerous too. A compulsion to exercise can turn a person into an anorexic too, ( even if you are eating 1200 calories a day, ) and I really did start to scare myself, so I'm backing off on all the cardio dance, and am going to plan on a 30 minute walk a day is all for a few weeks, and try to get my weight up a little. :) Burning off everything you eat is not a good or wise choice to make, and please don't anyone try to do that. | Hi Girls, Thank-you for your previous comments on our old thread and I like the new title! I am noticing even more a sense of vulnerability and also a weird feeling at this low weight. I want to get back up to at least 93 pounds I have decided. I am 89.8 today. I have gotten a bit irritated by some comments lately from people, asking me if I have been ill?! That's what really scared me I guess. The past few weeks I have been eating more, but have found myself addicted to exercise now. I am doing 2 hours of cardio dance a day, and usually 30 minutes of brisk walking. As well as lifting my 3 and 5 pound weights. My arms are looking great, ( well maybe a little too thin, but sculpted ) and I have never seen such a flat tummy in years! I do love that! And I have hip bones now too! I am so full of energy, and have so many interests now. I'm just a much happier person, as a thin person. :) I went into a clothing store to try on new sizes in jeans, and they gave me size 1 petite, ( they didn't have size 0 ) and they were actually a little loose. And I really didn't want to pay $ 100.00 for a pair of jeans anyway! Then another salesperson came out to assist the first one, and they took me over to the girls sizes! I was absolutely shocked when I slipped on a size 12 girls, and they fit me! And only $ 24.99 for the same brand name $ 100.00 pair I tried on in petite women sizes! I was absolutely thrilled and purchased them. I can't believe I fit into girls sizes now. I have lost 32 pounds since January 1st, but would like to gain five pounds back, because my butt is looking a little too flat I think. :( I can sure save some money if I can stay in girls size jeans, and I like that idea. The sales girls sure had a giggle when I fit into those sizes too. They said I was tiny, but they didn't think I looked sickly...............but they did say I should definitely not lose anymore weight, and even a few pounds gained would be a good idea. I agree with them. So anyway that's what has been going on with me the past few weeks. You girls are all doing so great, and I love the new name for this thread too! I've missed everyone, and it sounds like you are all doing wonderful. Lots of great challenges! I had a scare when I dropped down to 88.8 pounds on July 4th. :( It takes a lot to scare me too, but that sure did. Today I am 90.4, but I was 91.8 yesterday. Sorry to hear some of you have been ill. I hope you feel better soon. I ate 2500 calories yesterday, yikes! And 100 grams of fat. :( I It's summertime and all the wonderful macaroni and potato and fruit salads...............I couldn't help myself. I just love this time of year. I've been busy gardening, just love my flowers! I'm still weighing everyday, and lost 14 ounces this week. I am at 92.6 and am actually ready to stop dieting now and see how well I do at maintaining. I am finally into my skinny jeans I'd packed away several years ago. So that was a real thrill for me. I still feel like I need to pinch myself. It's amazing to " feel like me again." But very emotional too. Losing this weight has made me feel a little vulnerable, emotional, anxious, excited............so many different emotions. I feel like a new person and will need to adapt? | Hi Girls, Congratulations on all your achievements! :) I am exactly 1 pound less than last Friday, which is a miracle in itself. I made a Thanksgiving style dinner, and really enjoyed it too! So to compensate I walked 5 miles, and did cardio dance for a while too. I was only 2 ounces less this morning than I was yesterday, but it could have been much much worse! Today I've been eating oranges, bananas, pineapple, grapes, cherries..............and I ate some of the Turkey from the Turkey roast I baked too. I'm going to eat some cherries in a while and have a vegetable salad, and then a vegetable stir-fry with some sauted chicken breast strips. I'm still avoiding flour and sugar and dairy as much as I can. I only eat limited amounts when I do indulge. Everyone have a wonderful weekend. I hope you all have sunny beautiful skies. :) Rachel |

I'm feeling much much better about my image today. I had a friend stop by I hadn't seen in a year, and she was stunned to see how much I'd shrunk, but said I looked wonderful. So that made me feel better. We took pictures and I was very pleased with the pictures. I looked healthy and my complexion showed it too. I must be doing something right I guess. I put the new pictures on my fridge, next to the pictures taken at Christmas. WOW! I have indeed shrunk. I could not believe the difference in my face and neck. Then I took out my drivers licence and a club membership card , to look those pictures over, and what a difference 25 pounds makes! I can see contours on my face now, and my arms are even looking great from all the toning. My thighs are so small compared to last year at this time, I am just so thrilled that I have been able to lose this weight. I can still lose a few, but I am grateful for how far I've come in six months. I was just so tired the other day on 5 hours of sleep that I did indeed look a little rough around the edges. I found out we need to be exercising our face and neck muscles along with the rest of our body, to prevent loose skin. So believe me, I am right on top of that, lol. I started out in size 8 petite jeans and my size 4's are very very loose. It's time to start looking for some new jeans. But the sizes are so weird now. I went and checked out jeans at some of the stores, and they now come in size Zero? All I could find was zero long, zero regular, zero slim...........no zero short for my short legs, so they said they can order jeans for me if I decide on a style I like. So that's going to be my project. A few years ago sizes were 2, 4 6, 8 etc............someone said they now call 2 a zero now, because it messes with a womans head when she's shopping.......makes her feel way cool to be a zero?! I had a very bad day yesterday. It started when I looked in the mirror and noticed my neck looked a little scrawny. :O( Overnight I noticed a slight sag right in the throat area. Then I noticed I could see the veins on my wrists..............THEN I figured out why the back of my leg has been hurting, a varicose vein. Grrrrrrr! Not that the varicose vein has anything to do with weight loss. It's always been there, just a little bit more prominent now, darn. All the sudden I did not feel too well. I panicked just a tad thinking that maybe I'd lost too much weight. As of today I am 25 pounds lighter than I was January 1st. I suddenly felt that I DID look like I had lost a tremendous amount of weight since winter. So I ate and DID I ever eat yesterday, lol. I was up a pound this morning and I think I look a little better today. :) I am 95 pounds at 5 foot zero, and think I will just stop and maintain right where I am at. But work on toning up. As I said, I have some great books I have been reading. Angela, I purchased a Heart Rate Watch at Wal-Mart and just love it! It was under $ 30.00 and it works great. I've been wearing it when I do my cardio/dance. I wish I'd gotten one earlier, they are great! Knowing your heart rate is the best way to gauge the intensity of your workout, ( as the box the watch comes in states ) :) Have a great day girls, and eat healthy! Rachel |

| Hi Girls, Hooray for Kim and Puppykisses! I'm up four ounces today. :( I thought I was done with barbeque's at least for a while, but who was I kidding? Father's Day! But I did ok, better than I did last weekend at a graduation barbeque, that's for sure. I didn't go overboard on salads. I did not go back for seconds either. :) I ate 1/2 of a hotdog, 1/2 of a hamburger, 1/3 to 1/2 cup portions of potato salad, macaroni salad, baked beans and fruit salad. And 1/2 of a brownie. :) I drank my usual bottled water. I'm sure not a red meat fan, or hotdog fan either. But I do love chicken, turkey, pork and fish. As I mentioned I have been doing lots of reading, researching diet and health on the internet and at the local library. I'm enjoying some exercise books right now with illustrations and good sensible information too. Several Denise Austin books. I've never read her books til now, and she is great! Hard to believe she is 51?! She looks so fit and healthy. I'm reading " Jump Start, " " Pilates For Everybody, " " Fit and Fabulous After 40, " and " Sculpt Your Body With Balls And Bands." All by Denise Austin. I did purchase one of her exercise DVD's but her personality didn't come through quite that way in her books, lol. She's just too perky for me! I'm not sure I could get used to her DVD's, but since her books are so great, I may give her DVD's a shot too. I'm also reading " Total Health Makeover" by Marilu Henner. ( I just can't do that conscious food combining though! ) I prefer to eat BALANCED, but balance my food groups out throughout the day. :) I am enjoying her thoughts and idea's, and some of the food combining makes sense, all of it is just not for me though. I'm reading "Strength Training For Women, " by Joan Pagano. Love that book! And I am reading my first Atkin's book, " Atkins For LIfe, " by Robert C. Atkins. I'm studying his controlled carb program. Most every book is into controlled carbs these days. Well that's about it for now. Need to get in a couple hours of cardio/dance today to burn off those barbeque calories, lol. I weigh just 4 ounces less than I did last Friday, but I'll take it, I guess. I'm 94.4 pounds. I'm 4 pounds 4 ounces from my goal now. I've lost 26 pounds since January. I started out at 120.6 on January 1st. After several years of yo yo dieting, I think, I think, I think I can FINALLY make it to my goal and maintain this time. In fact I'm going to say I KNOW I can, because I'll be darned if I'll go through this again. This is darn hard work losing weight!! I-Mom, please don't quit, hang in there. I've had to pick myself back up so many times. I know how you feel, believe me I really do! All you girls just hang in there, cuz I'm cheering all of you on! I'll pop back in a little later and let you know some of the great things I'm discovering about health and fitness. :) I've been reading everything I can get my hands on, taking notes and have even started putting valuable information in binders for reference! | Hi Girls,
Another weekend is almost here, the days just fly by! Last weekend I had my last graduation party to attend. Oh my what good food! I have to admit I ate too much. "That's the most I've seen you eat in a long time!," I heard from one person. And everyone kept looking at my plate! :O It was full of pasta and potato salads and baked beans. :) I did skip the bread, meat and dessert however, so I guess I did ok. I drank my usual water. But I went back for seconds and heaped my plate up again, lol. Come Monday I was up exactly 2 pounds. Grrrrrrrr It took me til today to lose those 2 lbs too. I've been doing cardio/dance 2 - 3 hours everyday the past several days. Of course that makes me eat more too. Darn. But those 2 lbs are back off so I am very happy. Today I had lunch with an old friend, but had some sort of oriental salad with fat free dressing. I left the bread stick. :) I drank water. We ordered one piece of cake for dessert to split. I only ate 1/3 of the piece of cake. ( I'm so proud of myself! ) Then I came home and did 2 hours of cardio/dance! I-Mom: I constantly pick up stuff, put it in my cart, then take it back to the shelf too, lol. KA: London?! Wow! Please tell us about the food possibilites when you get back! I can't wait to hear. :) DJ: I can definitely agree that the more walking you do, the better. Especially pushing a heavy grocery cart around the store and then out to your car. :) Zena: Yes, the same thing happened to me. I went off my diet ( I like to refer to the word diet as "lifestyle change," and in three months I'd gained back 12 pounds........so I can definitely relate! What a bummer..........I'm up 1 # 6 ounces from last Friday's weigh in. :( I've had graduation and birthday parties these past several days though. I did eat wisely, and I'm doing 90 minutes - 2 hrs Cardio ( Dance ) everyday too! But that has increased my appetite a little and my calories have been up a few hundred the past several days. I lost another pound this week, so 27 pounds lost since January 1st, just three more to go, hooray! I-mom I hope your daughter's doing ok. Ouch, spider bites are painful! I spent a lot of time at the bookstore and library this week looking for books and magazines with up to date nutrition, health information. So much information out there! I purchased a pair of wrist/ankle weights by Danskin. Just 1.5 pounds each. I'm going to put them on my wrists before I walk. I did an hour of cardio/dance tonight. :) I love to put a good CD in and dance! It's Friday, yippee! Here are my stats. | Hi Girls, I hope everyone had a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend. I've been so busy with trying to customize an exercise program, and keep up my journal, I haven't even had time to read e-mail, let alone peruse the forums I enjoy so much. I'm trying to incorporate a little exercise in everyday using an exercise ball, resistance bands, and an exercise step. I'm also enjoying dancing to some good CD's as well as my walks. I'm at 93.2 today, and working on a maintainance plan, although I would like to see 90 lbs before I innitiate the maintainance phase. I just know I am going to gain a few pounds back when I start juggling the calories around. I had a nice Memorial Day weekend with my family. Lots of good food. I made wise choices, and kept my portions small! Everyone noticed I've lost a lot of weight, and say I look good, but also say I'd better be careful now, and I agree. I have lost 27 pounds since January 1st. 27 pounds in 21 weeks. I saw the Dr last week for my annual check up we ladies should all be getting, ( pap test ) as well as a physical. Everything is ok. I even had a mammogram and received my letters in the mail stating all is well. :) Both ends, lol. ( Thank-you Heavenly Father! ) Hope everyone is doing great this week, and hang in their girls! It sure didn't happen overnite for me. I did this slowly and carefully. I highly recommend an hour of exercise a day for all of us. Did you know that regular exercise lowers our risk of breast cancer by as much as 60 %!? Take care, Rachel |

Despite dancing to some oldies " Foreigner " and " Bob Segar " for a total of 2 hours yesterday...............( in 3 dance sessions ) I maintained my weight! Grrrrrrrrrr So I fell short 12 ounces of meeting my 10 pound weight loss goal by today, May 24th. :( But I am satisfied anyway. My original goal was to get back down to 95 pounds. ( I am 5 ' 0 '' tall, with a small frame. ) I started out at 120.6 on January 1st, so I have lost 26 pounds in 22 1/2 weeks, which was a safe rate to lose. I've been a healthy 85 pounds before, but think it better and safer if I do not go below 90 pounds. I've got to start working on a maintainance plan this week, although I still have 4 pounds to lose. It was hard to find you after the title of this thread changed, yikes! Confused me for a minute, as I hadn't posted in a few days, lol. I need to get to the first goal of "Lose 10 pounds by May 24th" before I can think about the new goal date of July 4th, lol! Good thing although our weigh in day is Friday, today, but our goal date is Saturday the 24th, because I need today! I'll be on lettuce all day to reach my 10 lb goal by Saturday morning.........well, not literally........... I am very close to my goal though. This thread has been fun. Thanks everyone for taking time to keep up. :) Here are my stats. March 28th , Friday 103.8 April 4th, Friday 103.0 April 11th, Friday 101.8 April 18th, Friday 101.6 April 25th, Friday 100.2 May 2, Friday &nb sp; 100.2 ( Maintained ) May 9th, Friday &nb sp; 96.6 May 16th, Friday &nb sp; 95.2 May 23rd, Friday &nb sp; 94.4 I need to lose 12 ounces by Saturday morning! | Hi Girls! I am going to be eating lots of vegetables and grilled fish this week! I bought some frozen Stir-Fry vegetables and fresh chicken breasts. I cut the chicken breast up into small strips and sauteed the chicken breasts in fat free Parkay spray. Then weighed it in 4 ounce portions and froze it in individual little snack size bags. I'll use them for my Stir-Fry and when I have a craving for some protein! I've cut up celery and carrots and have lots of little snack size bags in the fridge too. And I'll keep a lettuce and tomato salad in the fridge too. So I think I'm all set! Good look to everyone this week! Rachel |

| I spend so much time writing in my journal when I have the urge to eat something I shouldn't...............my diet journal really keeps me on track! I have a food diary too where I record every single morsel I eat, and the time of day I eat, etc.

I started writing in a journal when I was 10 years old, and have kept it up all of my life. :) I love to journal, and try to write in my journal faithfully. | Hi Girls, I was just delighted to see the scale numbers this morning. :) I've been eating mostly vegetables the past few days. I've eaten alot of frozen vegetables, steamed, with just pepper for flavor. I haven't even had my usual daily Lean Cuisine. And that's been hard! I was stuck at a plateau and had to do something. It worked. Friday April 2, 2008 100.2 Friday April 9, 2008 96.6 This week I lost almost four lbs on healthy vegetables. :) Normally I lose just barely over a pound a week if I'm lucky. I was a little surprised to lose four. That's too much in one week, I realize. So I need to be careful. Now I am going to change things up and add some shrimp, chicken, or beef to my stir fry. No soy sauce because of the sodium. The sodium definitely sabotages my good intentions everytime. I'm learning to like the taste of food with little sodium these days. I only have one pound and 6 ounces to lose now to reach my goal to weigh 95 pounds again. I feel like I'm dreaming when I get on that scale. It's so much fun to weigh now. I have lost exactly 24 pounds in 18 weeks, since January 1st. I've gone from 120.6 lbs to 96.6 lbs. It's great to be so close to my normal weight for my five foot frame. I didn't think I'd ever see this weight again. All the hard effort has surely paid off. I just hope I can keep the weight off for good this time! | Hi Girls,
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I sure have gotten the walking fever, and I have walked 10 miles a day for several days now. I don't do it all at once, in five 30 minute sessions. However I may be stuck at a plateau, 98.0 for 2 days now. Only 3 lbs to go, but I think the excess walking is toning me up, therefore turning fat into muscle......and muscle weighs more than fat I guess. I succumbed and had a bagel with blueberry cream cheese this morning. :( The blueberry cream cheese was an accident........somehow I put the wrong kind in my grocery cart. It looked like the regular, at first glance when I put it in the grocery cart. But oh was it ever good. I haven't had a bagel in ages. I rarely eat dairy or cheese products either, but I did enjoy the cream cheese on my bagel! Now I'll freeze the bagels so I don't have another. :) I just made up several little snack bags of baby carrots, and a big green salad too. I've got strawberries, grapes, and watermelon looking at me everytime I open the fridge too. :) I'm also drinking lots of bottled water. Since I'm a bloater, I really watch my sodium too. It's astonishing how much sodium is in prepared/processed foods. I've become so health conscious, that I look at labels on everything. :) I'm still loving my Lean Cuisines, especially the Asian Potstickers and the Vegetable Eggroll. 260 and 310 calories, 4 - 5 grams fat. And not bad on the sodium either. And the best part? No preservatives! They are very satisfying. And cost just $ 2.24 each. I have one or the other everyday for lunch. Hope you all have a great week! | Hi Girls!
I walked ten miles yesterday to make up for those Gordita's I had eaten on Thursday evening-which caused me to be up exactly two pounds Friday morning! I honestly thought it would take me two days to burn those Gordita's, but what a shock when I got on the scale this morning! :) I lost those two lbs in 24 hours! I'm back down to 98.2 lbs and just 3 lbs 2 ounces to lose now. I was 120.6 lbs January 1st 2008, and have been working so hard to get back down to 95 lbs. I am so happy to finally almost be there. What a long road! So many ups and downs and twists and turns...........I fell off the wagon so many times, but just kept climbing back on. It's been so worth it! I've already gotten in two 30 minute walks today. What a beautiful sunny day. :) Hope all of you are having a great weekend. Hang in there girls, you can succeed! | Hi Girls, Boy did I dread the weigh in this morning. I guessed I would be up 2 lbs after what I ate last night. * SIGH * And I was right. Yesterday I was 98.2, and sooooooo excited! Just 3 lbs from my goal! I ate well all day yesterday til evening. Then for dinner I made Old El Paso Gordita Dinner Kit. ( With Chicken Breast ) I simply could not stop at one, and ate four! :( Although I never put any cheese or ranch sauce on the Gordita's...........( lettuce, green onions, tomatoes only) the sodium was a killer. I am up EXACTLY two pounds this morning. 100.2! * Tears * I am so angry with myself. And I was suppose to have lunch with a friend today, but thankfully she had to call late last night and cancel. Or I would have. I knew the consequences of over eating, and now I will have to pay for it. Now I really have to work by butt off today. I'll need to walk all day long to burn off those Gordita's. I am a bloater when it comes to sodium and knew better than to eat four! I should have stopped at just one. Even one had 830 mg's sodium. Darn! And I ate at 6:30 last night, and was sick all evening. Running to the bathroom all night. I couldn't look at any food commercials on TV with out getting an upset stomach. I was simply stuffed. And here it is almost 9 am and I am still so full. UGH! It looks like a calm day today, no wind so I am going to walk lots and eat fruits and veggies all day. Yesterday the weather was awful and I only walked off about 500 of the 2000 calories I ended up eating for the day! Let's just hope I have better news to report next Friday when we weigh in again. | Hi Girls, I had a few weak moments the past several days which made me so angry with myself. Grrrrrrrrrrrr! But somehow I managed to maintain, which really surprised me. Crazy hormones making me crave sweets. I looked at a box of chocolate turtle candy sitting on my microwave for a week...........then finally gave in and had one. The next day a second, and the next day a third! Then I gave into the cookies and cream icecream which had been in the freezer for a week untouched by me.........I had a cup! The next day I gave into the butter pecan icecream and had a cup! Then the leftover cake in the fridge sitting there for a week called me..........I ate a piece. The next day I turned around and ate 2 pieces! Talk about angry! But somehow I managed to maintain my weight because I was walking everyday. In fact I was so angry for eating sweets I increased my walking and yesterday walked 20,000 steps, which is a total of 10 miles in five 30 minute walking sessions :) Well it did the trick I guess, because the scale said 99.0 today! Woo Hoo! Ninety Nine Point Zero! Just 4 more pounds and I'll be back down to 95 pounds again. I am soooooo relieved. It's been a real battle, as I started out at 120.6 lbs January 1st. So I am very happy I have hung in here and persevered. It's been soooooooo worth it! Hope all of you are having a good week. I see the Dr today......it's been exactly four weeks since my last appt and I've lost 5 lbs 2 ounces. Saturday night I ate out, and ordered a plate of steamed shrimp, nothing with it, but a bottle of water. I was anxious to weigh the next morning..........I lost 1 # 6 ounces! Hooray, the weight gain from my little binge was almost gone! That night I ran into a friend I hadn't seen in a year and she was so surprised to see I'd lost weight. She said she almost didn't recognize me. Next challenge was a pizza party Sunday. I ate one slice of "Lite Garlic Chicken" and one slice "Veggie." I drank water, and for desert had cake, ( 4 x 4 piece) and passed on icecream. I was very anxious to weigh Sunday morning. I just knew I would be up from eating that pizza and cake! What a shocker to see I had lost 12 ounces! I finally broke 100 something , and came in at 99.4 pounds this morning! I guess I once again fit the coined phrase ( " 99 pound weakling.") Lol. So I lost the weight I gained from my binge last Wednesday, and then some! I have worked so hard to get this weight back off, just 4 pounds to go, and I am so revved up now! Have a great week girls!
