From drinking coke all day, to drinking diet coke all day, I have now cut back to one diet soda with lunch, one with dinner, and water or crystal light in between.  But not enough water (working on that).  I too slowly weaned myself down to where I am now.

If you really, really want the diet coke and think it will help you feel better, go for it.  If its not that important then skip it or maybe hold off for a little while and see if you still want it.

Hope you feel better!

Ok, the first 20 oz. bottle is now officially empty.  I am going to refill it right now, and hope I can do better.

I love my tuna with sweet relish or with chopped sweet pickles.  Unfortunately I also love it with mayo!  Boy I wish the fat free kind tasted a little better...

Thanks for the tips!  The water bottle on my desk is only a 20 ounce, and I barely manage to fill it twice!  I will try a bigger one.  I have GOT to do better with this!  (Luckily, my desk is just around the corner from the restroom!)

I agree about the frozen dinner sodium dilemma.  I do try to have unprocessed foods for the rest of the day, though, just is so convenient for lunch to be able to grab & go in morning then pop in microwave at lunch.  I should probably try brownbagging it a few days a week!

And trying to get in my daily quota of water is always a challenge for me, any tips?  Never has been a good habit of mine.

Rahana - I love the ww...i usually get the Smart Ones.  The portion size is reasonable and the flavors are good, and the sauce on the fettucini types is very creamy.  I like Lean Cuisine and Michelina's Lean as well!

I joined cc about 9 months ago but just last week starting taking it seriously again...the food logs are helping me tremendously but I also am having difficulty with the activity logs, mostly in trying to figure out what my activity actually equals to according to the log descriptions.  I am really trying to make it work this time.  Welcome and good luck!

to #4 obsidyan:

WAY TO GO!  You should be very proud of yourself!!

As far as rude comments, one thing I will never forget is one day many years ago, when I weighed at least 75 pounds less than I do now, I was lying out by the community pool in a one piece bathing suit, and a small girl yelled over the fence "Hey fat woman!"  I had never been more embarrassed or felt more disgusted with myself in my life.  Although that particular comment was from a young child, it still bothered me.  The best advice I can give is to remember that there will always be people out there making remarks and weight is not the only issue.  We should all give ourselves a pat on the back for trying and realize that we are wonderful people regardless of our size.  And a snappy comeback never hurts, although I admit I am one to just walk away.
