Please get some help!!  See your dr.  It does sound like you have an eating disorder, but there could be other health issues involved.  When I was your age (20 years ago) I was 100-105 lbs.  I am only 5'4" and was STICK SKINNY!  I HATED IT!  Years later I found out that I had been Hyperthyroid all those years (without getting diagnosed) and then my thyroid "burned out" from over working and I became hypothyroid.   Don't leave any health problems unaddressed!  Please get some help!

 

PS:  Your bmi @ your current weight is 17.9 = severely underweight.  At 100 lbs you would have a bmi of 15.7.  NOT HEALTHY AND NOT ATTRACTIVE.

I've only posted on this thead a couple of times but it is time for me to say goodbye! Yeay, me! Last week I was down to 149 but didn't wanna "jinx" that I was actually back in the 140's so I didn't get too excited. I am now happy to report I am at 147! 10lbs to go to reach my goal (pre-preg) weight, but depending on how fast I get there I may keep going to get to 132-135.

Before finding this site I honestly never thought I could get back to where I once was, even though I WANTED to. Thanks to everyone on here (and the site itself) for giving me the strength to stick with it & work towards my goal! Hope to see ya'll on the 140's thread soon!

Nature's Own also makes a Double Fiber Wheat bread.  It has 5g of fiber per slice.  Too bad I haven't found a double fiber but low carb bread yet! :(

Well, I will admit that my main reason was looks, also.  Don't get me wrong, I want to be healthy,too, but what made me get my butt in gear & get serious about losing weight was looks.  We went on a cruise a couple of weeks ago & I just kept thinking "I remember when I looked like that" when I saw the thinner women in their swimsuits.  So, I'm commited to "looking like that" again!  The fact that I will also be healthier is a bonus ;) !

My MIL  only speaks Spanish & I call her "suegra", which translates to "mom-in-law".  I still have my own mom so I could never call her "mom".  She's an awesome lady & I love her dearly but "mom" just doesn't work for me.  If it involves our daughter then I call her "welita" (grandma in Spanish), which is what my daughter calls her. 

Side note:  I have several SIL & a BIL that call MY mom "mom" but it doesn't bother me at all.  There's enough of her to go around ;) and I know they use it as a term of endearment.

ALICIAMALA:  Congrats!!  I just want to say your progress pics are awesome!!  You look fantastic.  Just looking at your profile pic I would've never guessed you are in the high 150's (your face looks thin).  Looking at my profile pic you would probably think I weigh more than I do (thus my other name "chubbycheeksinTX").  I've always had a very full round face (even when I was in high school & around 107 lbs) and hate it!  Instead of "a moment on the lips, forever on the hips", my motto is "a moment on the lips, forever on the cheeks"!! ;)

Hi!  I just stumbled upon this site last week and am LOVING it!!  I am 5'4 & started @ 151.5.  I stepped on the scale this morning & YEAY, 150.5.  Yes, I know it is only a pound, but it's a start!  Here's hoping I won't be in this group too long ;) and can move on down to the 140's soon.  THANKS for being such a supportive group (from what I've seen so far)!!!

CONGRATS!!  I know how proud you must feel to have been able to resist temptation! 

We went to OLIVE GARDEN (my FAVE!!) for lunch yesterday & my husband was impressed with my determination to not go too far off track.  I always order bellini tea (super sweet) but this time opted for regular tea & sweetened it with splenda.  I only ate 2 breadsticks (I can usually eat the whole basket by myself), didn't have ANY alfredo dipping sauce (had to find extra willpower there) and ordered whole wheat linguini ala marinara.  I mostly filled up on salad (not too much dressing) and brought most of my pasta home (had some for dinner & the rest will be for lunch today).  Anyway, baby steps, but steps none the less!  The best part, I've seen the 1st pound come off the scale!! YEAY!!

TRUE!  Although I didn't get my treadmill workout in today, I did spend a good couple of hours cleaning out the garage (sweeping, moving things, sweating it up in this TX heat!!) and I've still got a couple hundred calories to spare & don't feel hungry at all!! 

TPBM owns a BOSTON TERRIER (I DO!!).

I weigh 151 & am 5'4.  After having my daughter I went back down to my pre-baby weight (137) without much effort but I now take meds for hypothyroidism & I was taking depression meds (that's when the weight REALLY started climbing!).  I finally made a concious decision to do something to bring my weight down & I just found you guys yesterday!  I'm so excited!!  Anyhow, back to the topic at hand!  I wear:

shirts: mostly medium ~ not that blessed up top :(

pants, skirts, jeans, shorts:  8/10 depending on exact style

Hope to post on many more topics on this forum & find some great support in my dieting efforts!
