There are many people on CC who aren't trying to lose weight, but rather gain weight, too.

Or like you said they could be on maintenance. I'm sure many are goal pics as well.

You may also want to track your body measurements. You could be showing a loss in inches as opposed to pounds.

You definitely shouldn't weigh just after you've eaten. Invest in a scale for home if you can.

I weigh first thing in the morning... after tinkle, before eating, undressed. ;) Try to be consistent too for a more accurate reading.

Not that you need any more proof, but...

I've been here a little over a year and started at 259. I'm now at 206. :)

It definitely works. For some, like myself, it goes a little slower than it does for others. But, you WILL get there!

You are not ruining his career Jess, he is. If he did indeed go to school for this career, then he should know what sexual harassment is and that it is illegal.

You should be able to go to your job and not have to worry about things like this.

As for hubby... well that's another story, isn't it? :P

You could also just use some OTC stye medicine. You should be able to find it at the drug store... if you happen to get one again.  They do usually just go away on their own though.

I have the Polar F6 and I'm very happy with it. :) You can usually find them on ebay for a little cheaper.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I was feeling sort of down reading about folks on here who have lost twice as much weight as me in half the amount of time. But, after reading this I feel much better. Patience is hard, but I know it's worth it.

I am sorry for what you had to go through, but you should not feel ashamed. You are an inspiration. You got it right in the end. ;)

That doesn't sound very accurate to me. Not sure of your stats, but I burn around 600 cals in 60 minutes of cardio.

I would invest in a HRM. ;)

As you lose weight your allowance goes down.

And if you burn 1890 and end today at 1352 you'll have a deficit of 538, which is good.

I just had this for the first time today.

Mine is chocolate flavoured and I just mixed it with milk. I thought it tasted a lot like a malt shake. But, hubby thought it was disgusting so I'm just going to add some fresh or frozen berries next time.

Sounds good, yeah? :)

Maybe it's just the particular brand you got that wasn't so nice?

I weigh myself every day, but I suggest once a week. Someday, I will take my own advice.

And I measure myself once a month. That seems to work just fine. :)
