I'm hardcore Catholic so I'm gonna give up Diet Coke which is basically like my DRUG. It's gonna be tough but I know I can do it.

Btw: Just a note to those giving up "all junk food" I tried that last year and that started my binge eating disorder. So ya may want to reconsider that....

Honestly, I have REEEEEEALLY bad self-esteem. Like, when I think about it, I don't want to be anyone else because I want to prove to everyone that I can make something of myself but it's just sooooooo hard.

I have been good for the past few days, but I don't want to relapse again!

How can I change the fact that I hate myself?!

Thank you! It just seems like I have some sort of like NEED to eat and that there's some subconscious thought i have that's keeping me from losing weight. It's like I don't want to have the body that I long for because then I'll have no reason to hate myself or something.

Ooooo stupid brains.

Thanks you guys for your support! That is what goes through my head about once every ten minutes and it's been going like this for about a year and a half now. It's horrible.

I am going to try my hardest to change my view of things and it's sooo hard, but I'm trying my best.

I may sound like a stupid little girl who has no idea what's really going on in the world, etc, but even so, it's hard to deal with this as most people know. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Thank you again! You really have no idea what this means to me.

Ok but... gah it must be the holidays but my brain isn't working. haha

so... if i am sedentary, then i would eat like 1525*1.2 and would i TAKE AWAY 250 cals from that? if i were lightly active it would be 1525*1.375 and would i exercise away 250 of that and then eat 250 less? Iiiii'm so confused.

haha sorry for being a bit slow...

I really enjoy the Atkins protein bars! They taste like candy bars except they keep me full for like 3-4 hours! They're great. A bit expensive though. There's something like 19 grams of protein and ~230 cals per bar.

Hope that helped!

Today was the first time I had Christmas and didn't hate myself after the meal. it's great:D

Good luck everyone and Merry christmas!!!!

I am trying a whole bunch of different ways to get rid of my obsession with food.

So far i've tried a slightly anorexic way, eating no junk, and right now i'm doing eating junk but within my calories aaand i drink tea when i have cravings. So far the eating junk one is working most even though I know it's not good for me.

But I don't even want to know how much I weigh. I've definitely gained and it's SO depressing.
Weight Loss HELP! Bad Binging Habit =[ Dec 19 2007
05:46 (UTC)
I struggle with binge eating, but I've found that the only way that you can discontinue it is to change up your schedule and just your way of life in general. I try to get up in the mornings early so i can do yoga, but if I just don't have enough energy to, I clean my room or do something else productive.

You also have to tell yourself that food is for NUTRITION and that's all.

My rule that I've been following since sunday is just if it's not for nutrition than don't have it. It's definitely hard sometimes, but after a while your body will adapt.

Also, yoga really helps the mind and body to connect, so you get more self-control and peace.

I hope that helps!

I definitely know what you mean! I lost 20 pounds on a crash diet and now it's all back plus more!

Just wondering, do you have a problem with binging? Because I most certainly do and I want just one buddy that I can talk to when I want to shove everything in sight down.

1)To stop the evil chub rub once and for all!!!! 2) To not feel like my friends are lying when they say I'm not fat. 3) To be like Audrey Hepburnnnn and actually feel sophisticated. I love the feeling of sophistication, but I don't feel like you can be when you're chubby:(.

AAaand, this one is especially weeeeird, but....

4) Get an amazing body so that I look better than my 22yo supervisor's gf and so that he won't be able to wait till I'm legal (Unfortunately I still have 3 and a half years to go... lol)
