I love taking bananas and splitting them in threes. If you squish the sides of them a little you can usually find were it splits naturally and peel it.

Also i only only only eat healthy food. wheat bread, all natural peanut butter etc. etc.

I also know someone who rips apart ALL of her food. The only thing she actually eats is meatballs.

Thanks for the input! It seems to me that it all depends on the person, whether they are okay with the oils or not, but even us PB fans have to admit that the hydrogenated stuff isn't good. I don't eat any junk food, none! So i don't get that much of the icky oil but i've decided that as hard as it is i'm going to cut down on PB. Every other day. And i'm gonna try the natural PB.

deflepfan16: yep i just stopped! I was soooo sick and tired of it. Everytime i reached for the calculator i just made my self stop by saying to myself "i don't need it!!" I mean so many kids go without doing it and they're fine and plus we're KIDS why are we worrying about it. I just have strong will power but thats sorta how i got in this predicament to begin with.

Dosen't counting calories drive you all nuts though? I know it drove me mad!!!

Thanks so much!!! I don't really mind the calories but its good to know there are healthy alternatives out there. Does it cost more than normal PB?

its not that i don't want muscle it's just that if i mabey stop exercising so much i will gain fat faster. which i need becasue i don't have my periods and i am so FRUSTRATED!! *breathe* anyway thank you for clearing that up.. its just so annoying because i have been thinking i have been eating like a whale but no period, still bony, my hair is thin....RAWR!!! stupid fast metabolism! lol anyway thanks everyone. oops one more question  how long does it take until there is a noticable diffrent in weight because i know i have been gaining but i can't see it at all its like hide and seek with my body fat and that sorta worries me because i 've been trying for about 4 months now and its not that noticable. (Did that make any sense?):D

I like to mix one vanilla dannon light and fit yogurt, one serving of fiber one and one pouch of nature valley apple chips together. or you could make a parfait with all that. really filling and olny 170 cal. I also make my own apple sauce. you need 6 medium apples, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, one cup cider, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. peel, core and cut apple into small slices. Put apples and other indregients in pot on stove on medium heat. cook with cover slighty off so some steam can come out. cooke for about ten minutes or until the apples are cooked all the way through. put in a blender and blen to desired consitancy. store in fridge with a cover. Make sure you let it cool WITHOUT a cover on before you put the cover on to store otherwise the heat gets trapped and casue icky bacteria to form!

Thanks for the offer but i checked it : german. actually on one brand of chocolate there is a english translation. The only thing is the calories are per 100g. whats equivilent to that that i could easily recognize?

thanks everyone for the advice and support. Today i stried making a smoothie w/ banana and milk. it was better but it still had the horrid aftertaste of medicine. and i'll take ur word dagenaisr and heat it i hope ur right! I'll definatly try boost next. I was specifically avoiding teh chocolate and vanilla because in most cases things with those flavors are way over the top. and i'll look up the carnation thing

14 5ft 1 in and 80 pounds (i'm gaining : D) i used to eat 1,000 cal but it was stupid and horrible now i eat anywhere from 1800 to 2500. i exercise everyday for at least an hour.

Ooo man i love breakfast!

I mix one thing of vanilla dannon light and fit (60 cal) with one serving of fiber one (60), add a fruit and there you go! low cal and really yummy

YOu descirbed exactly how i feel! And i do teh same thing eat low cal foods and then i'm ful. However, (i am very pround of this) i have been eating 300 cal or more over my limit! I did this by adding more nuts which are really calorie dense i can add a small serving with a meal or somthing and thats 170 cal right there! and i am curious, i love yogurt but all teh yogurt i find is fat free. i need more fat in my diet to help with weight and to help absorb protein and i figure yogurt is a healthy way to add some. what brand has normal yogurt thats tasty?

I measure and boy it's akward. My parents worry that i'm trying to restrict my calories by doing this (i'm underweight) but now more than ever i have to be sure i'm eating to correct amount to gain back!

Yes this is everyday and i have tried to make my breakfasts dinner but i'm always warry about that because i'm never sure how big my other meals will be *sighhhhh* Yesterday actually was better i ate 2077 calories and boy was i stuffed! but still its better than 1682. Today i don't think i'm going to exercise much (still unsure about going to teh YMCA) so i've been taking it easy on the eating but it's weird because yesterday i was stuffing my face to get the calories and today i have to be more careful. It would almost be easier to exercise everyday a lot so i could eat more : D

and i have another question: Today i burned 2258 calories by 2pm. Since then i've been sitting around eating (healthy) in 2 hour intervals to make up for all that i burned now its about 5 and i've only eaten 1682 and i've been full and content all day. Now i feel really uncomfortable because i'm justing sitting inside eating and it just feels wrong i want to go do somthing liker ide my bike or go on teh trampoline but i know i shouldn't burn more calories. Should i just keep on sitting around and doing nothing but eating, is it really the right thing to do? and when i say eating it's not like i'm bingeing. I'm eating controlled amounts at intervels but still any advice??

no need to be sorry that was very helpful! I have bad news however, i'm not really 89 lbs. that was how much i weighed when i weighed myself a while ago. the real weight is 79. *shudders* i know, i know its really bad but i've been eating up to 1900 calories a day. exercising too. but the thing is i just have troubel making myself eat over my matinence amount so it's not doing much. I'm just never hungary enough to eat extra so i think that the suggestion of replacment drinks is a really good idea! anymore advice welcome and appreciated!!

Thanks fo rthe advice and i have been trying to snack healthy during the day (fruit, yogurt, ect.) but the same things every day get old and eating somthing i know has alot of calorie makes me uncomfortable even if i know i need them. Any snack reccomendations (sp?)?

yoga!! It helps he relax because you have to concentrate on somthing you control: your breathing. and you don't need to be in a yoga studio you can be stitting on a train or waiting in line or somthing. It's very relaxing and helps you focus on more important things than your anxiety.
