Motivation Walking Off the Weight Jul 25 2007

I defintely love walking as well. Last year it was my prime motivator to get my butt into gear. And the moment I cut out the walking, everything else stopped. I wasn't eating right anymore, wasn't sleeping well, and of course I hoped completely off the bandwagon. Realizing how much I needed a life style change, I've given it another shot. I walked 4 miles each day home from work, and my energy was right back up. Now walking home from work isn't plausible due to schedule restrictions so I'm looking for a new way to fit some walking in. It's the best form of excercise for me because its totaling relaxing. I pop on my Ipod and hit the pavement. I did it for around 3-4 months last year and dropped 17 pounds. It was dang near effortless.

From my understanding, lifting on sore muscles isn't a good idea because you can strain them. it's best t take a day off and do something else instead.
Weight Loss fulltime worker and trying to lose weight Jun 21 2007

I'm quite the lazy girl when i get home too. What I've done to change that is that I have changed my schedule a bit. I go into the office at 7:30, out at 4:30 and normally home by 4:45 (I live 4 miles from my office), then i bop around the house for a bit aka lay on the couch before heading out to class around 6pm. Now, Hunny drops me at work in the morning (since he's going to the gym anyways) and then I walk the 4.14 miles home everyday....rain, sleet, or snow I walk 4.14 miles home. I've been doing this for about 2 weeks now, and its really helped me because it takes me about 1 hour and 30 minutes and then as soon as I get home I have just enough time to change and head back out the door, so it just keeps me going. Which is essentially what we need...
Weight Loss OK ... for all you people who eat less than 1200 calories a day... YOU ARE WRONG Jun 19 2007

Interesting topic, I think after we have all educated ourselves to the understanding that anything under 1200 calories is bad, this topic is dead. However just to throw my 2 cents in I really dislike "thread starters" who start threads with the obvious intentions to talk crap. It's horribly rude, and thats not what CC is about. CC is about helping one another in a positive manner with motivation and shared knowledge.
The Lounge ADULTS. um, does looking better improve... bedroom antics? Jun 19 2007

I'd say it improved my antics as well, but it was more because of self confidence. I didn't like the lights on, didn't want my stomach touch, and god forbid something jiggled to much... I was horrible. But Hunny made me feel comfortable and let me know how much he loves me just the way I am. And after really firming up some stuff and dropping some pounds, I was all over the place... *snickers*

Hey ladies, I'd like to join in on the fun as well. Another way to keep in contact on this fab website is also through journals. I update mine on a daily and try to respond to my loving commenters as well. As of now I have a goal to loose around 40-50 pounds, and have recently had success making a Mon- Fri  goal schedule. I don't weigh myself ever, my first weigh in will probably be at at the end of summer or later. The scale is evil, don't forget that! Anyways, add me and I'll do the same. Support is one of the biggest reasons for success when making a lifestyle change!?

Not eating after 7pm is one of my daily journal goals. I've stuck to it pretty well because on the weekend, rather I've had dinner or not, I just have no appetite to eat late anymore. Good luck to you all!?

I've never really been bothered with my breasts personally. At 18, size 4, I was a 34DD. Had a small waist, small butt, and big boobs... so I used it to my advantage and won every pageant in my area to help pay for college. Now I'm 23, *an undisclosed size* and a 36DDD/E and just can't wait for them, and my body to shrink....Lord help us all! LOL -- I just never liked the attention from men....still creeps me out

OKay folks... so after the finale I am still left unsatisfied. It wasn't enough. A kiss between Luke and Lorelai wasn't enough, Rori running off on the journalism trail wasn't enough... I'm sad. I did cry, I must admit. But I thought, that for that to be in the final episode, it just wasn't enough. I don't know if any of you have ever watched Charmed but when their run ended, the final episode wrapped their entire lives up, and it was totally memorable. GG's last episode fell short.

Oh goodness freakin gracious!!! What will I do without my Tuesday nights?? Thanks for the article dbackerfan... I'm sad now though. However the article did touch on some good points. Rori and Lorelai should have never stopped talking. Point blank, that was silly.

Me too! I want Lor and Luke to work things out. Rory and Logan~ still on the fence about those too. I use to ? Dean but he got all crazy and crap so I don't like him too much, and am glad he's gone. But Jess matured and would have been good for Rory in the long run.

I love GG's too!! If Luke and Lorelai don't get back together I'm pretty sure I'll go insane. *Sigh* And Logan is nuts, I don't think him and Rori should take that step yet. She needs to get on track with what she wants to do first. But the karaoke scene was quite moving, Luke so wants her. He's still just hurt. And um yeah Christopher hasn't been seen in what 2 episodes? What the heck? I don't like him for her anyways.
