I guess I'm in a similar situation too. Going out with a guy for about two and a half years, he's getting a job, I'm trying to graduate from college.

He's ready for more things than I am..

The Lounge how to break up a live-in bf and get out with all your stuff --- ADVICE Sep 24 2008

Yeah, another WoW (well ex-WoW) player here. It really does cause problems between guys and their gfs when guys choose to play video games over spending time with gf/work/school. Such talk is very prevalent and I'm sure he is aware of the situation that YOU AREN'T HAPPY WITH HIM PLAYING VIDEO GAMES.

If you just want him to stop playing video games, I think that's rather unfair for him to just stop doing w/e he loves doing. If you want him to moderate the amount of time he puts into the game, then you guys have some issues to talk about.

I have to say, when i played WoW, lots of guys would tell me how they wanted their gf to just give it a chance and try the game.

Well, they probably are intimidated since they think you are out of league or think you already have a bf who'd beat them up if they make a move.

I looked at your pics too and you look gorgeous and have blessed body, lots of girls would KILL to get that kinda bod! So don't be too negative on yourself.

Health & Support a nutritionist and an overeating problem Aug 26 2008

I've never been to a nutritionist so I can't really tell you, not to even mention every nutritionist is different.

So if you know all about healthy eating and problem is the emotional eating, then you should visit a therapist rather than nutritionist? Or if you think your nutritionist can guide you through dealing with emotions while keeping you in check with food intake, it should be fine.

Best of luck
The Lounge You can grow your eyelash??? Aug 14 2008

I'd think that old people not having eyelashes is because they don't have the 'regenerative' power and it probably doesn't help that their eyelashes are white (like their hair on their head and everywhere else).

But no, I wasn't talking about eyelash extensions. I use mascara myself but I just wanted my eyelashes more .. full, i guess. My eyelashes are long enough that they touch my glasses but heh I got used to it. These are gels that you apply daily and supposedly they make your lashes longer/fuller/stronger. Some of them are rather costly ($100 for a tiny bottle) and the fact that it's really near my eye makes me nervous so I decided to ask here since there are lots of people.

Enormous lash
Ardell's Growth Accelerator
Revitalash

I dressed up as mulan last halloween party. except all the girls at the party wore sailor/nurse/princess costumes with short skirts, maybe i would dare to wear something short (i normally don't) this halloween.

my bf dressed up as house. he wore a sports jacket, used a cane, carried that signature pill bottle and grew 2 days of beard.

The Lounge Anyone else short waisted? Aug 11 2008

Aw I wish I had long legs - I have super super long torso and short stubby legs. And because I like to wear low ride, my torso looks even longer. Form fitting shirts look good because it makes me look lean but.. shorts are just no-no.
Weight Loss big undereating problem, need advice Aug 11 2008

Not all fat is bad for you. There's saturated fat, trans fat and unsaturated fat.  Sat/trans fat are the bad fat that you should try to avoid, nyc actually has banned the use of trans fat to promote health awareness. Unsatruated is very good for you and in fact will definitely aid you in losing weight and lower your (bad) cholestrol.

The Lounge Do you know anyone you *don't* want to find this site? Aug 10 2008

I like the anonymity provided by internet. My name is nothing like what I use on other forums, no pics of me that reveals my face or body enough for people to figure out.

I don't think I would really tell anyone in RL about this site unless they are really hellbent on losing weight or dealing with other weight related issues. And if I do, I'll probably not tell them my name here.
The Lounge RPGS? Aug 10 2008

I played WoW for a couple of months. I had a really hot Belf 70 lock, another 56 belf prot pally, 56 human fire mage and an undead priest. I might go back to playing WoW when Lich comes out but who knows.

As of tabletop, DnD and shadowrun also. Well, not anymore. My bf also plays DnD but he lives a bit far away so I can't really join his group =/ I also want to try Masquerade.

And I guess I can't really skip Final Fantasy and other Japanese RPGs.

Like someone mentioned before, one thing that makes me really really sad is that they raise their kids to be haters they are. The brainwashed 4~5 yr olds holding pickets with all the wrong messages. UGH as if they weren't bad enough, they just have raise their kids like that.

i have to say it's ponytail and plaid shirt.

1) science olympiad tshirt from your highschool
2) some random about bloomberg, google or some techie tshirt
3) funny joke tshirts like 1tells pi "be rational" and pi tells 1 "get real"

Sherrigriffin, it's just that the wedding is tomorrow and ordering now would be too late... this is how I pay for my procrastination at shopping =/ I do like some stuffs posted in bluefly though, i'll be browsing it tonight for some other occasions hehe

laurensking, i'm not really sure if chocolate brown would go with the dress, but i do love the color as most of my wardrobe is beige/brown/chocolate. And there were tons of cute chocolate colored ones when I went shopping today. Only if I was filthy rich...

I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with silver though i don't have any silver/gold/metallic shoes... I don't have any pic of shoes that I was looking yet but I'm looking. I think either strappy or open toe... but pretty much open many styles.

I've heard - not read - that romance novels are like porn for girls. And I've also heard that they are quite explicit >_> I'd blush if I were to read it.

I always found their actions to be quite disturbingly distatesful. As if they are using reverse psychology so that people don't turn vegetarian/vegan. But why are they allowed to post something so controvertial? I'm glad that there are people who are against treating animals horribly but what PETA is doing is completely hypocritical, nonsensical, terrorizing and inhumane.

I just thought that was strange because Korean women here(NY) definitely don't wear that - my mom would know since she sells women's apparel.

Oh I haven't been to Korea in like 5 yrs now? But from what I"ve seen on TV, it seemed like it's unisex and full clothed with tshirts and shorts? Or are there jimjilbangs with total nakedness?

heh if you go to chinatown, you see a sea of black with a couple of blond heads sticking out towering over.

btw, I didn't know 30+ women wore girdles there... that seemed a little strange to me.

I have to say, that picture of your back is pretty inspiring! Congrats on the weight loss, good job on upping cals and keep up the good work!

I don't count calories anymore - they are a good guideline to follow by but it's not a law. Feel free to eat over or under every now and then, you aren't breaking any law if you go under or over a little! And most of all enjoy your meal :D
