guys actually taking off their wedding rings and sticking them in their pockets before they enter the strip club,

that is actually kind of funny. that must make them feel a little less guilty, to take their rings off, cuz im sure the stripper doesn't care. and im sure the bouncer at the club doesn't care. maybe they are afraid to offend the bartenders or the people that pick up their glasses?

Honestly, I think it's because some guys tend to see a strip club as a place to get a date. I know most probably don't think that, but some do.

BTW, I know this stuff because I was a cocktail server at a couple different clubs in my early 20's. The things I've seen! Embarassed

I've considered your addendum, but it think I'll stick with my statement as the interaction is only visual, not overly physical. He isn't going to masterbate in front of them, or touch their privates, etc, so the actual interactions should be harmless - ie: hooting and hollering, dollar bills, even a lap dance is no-touching. I'd like to reiterate that a strip bar is not a bunny house - these girls are not supposed to be classified or act like prostitutes.

I'd just like to point out that depending on the state you're in, there WILL be lots of touching involved in lap dancing. I've seen girls slapping guys in the face with their boobs, guys getting super touchy-feely, guys actually taking off their wedding rings and sticking them in their pockets before they enter the strip club, etc.......so you're kidding yourself if you think there's no touching (and other no-no's) going on. Again, depends on the state you're in.

Hi and welcome to CC Smile

Not sure if you've gotten a chance to read through any threads, but this link has been recommended by many here and is much better at giving you information:

Keep in mind sedentary is for those that are in a coma, bed-bound, or just literally stay in bed all day.

Good luck!

IMO, some guys either like to see the rivalry between girls or think it's funny to get them "worked up" and will say stupid things to get the reaction...

When their fries (or any fries really...) are that nicely golden bright yellow, with just the right amount of salt. Mmm-mmm!

I like BK's fries more than McD's though, too.

I can't for the life of me make sweet potato fries that taste good. They don't even taste like fries... and sweet french fries is all wrong! A baked sweet potato cut into slices is where it's at. Surprised

Y'know which fries I think suck and have always sucked each and every time I've had them? Wendy's. So fail.

 OMG...Yes!

Wendy's fries are so blech. They have no flavor whatsoever. However, the chocolate Frosty is super yummy...especially when you dip some of McD's fries into it Laughing

Not sure how old you are, but could it be possible that your body is developing into that of a woman's instead of a girl's?

Got this from About.com"Women's Health:

Body size and shape. The size and shape of your body also changes during puberty (puberty can start at 6 or 7 for some girls, or as late as 16 for others). Your hips widen, while your waist gets smaller. You’ll also develop extra fat in your stomach and buttocks. Don’t worry, you’re not getting fat; your body is developing the curves that grown up women’s bodies have.

Helen,

You are one of the most thoughtful, caring, kind, and inspirational people here on CC (and I'm sure in "real" life too!). I hope you will regain all of your health and strength. You most definitely deserve the best life has to offer.

Sending you good thoughts and prayers...and (((hugs)))

Do you think I can overcome my insecurities while dating him at the same time?

Wow......you sound just like I did when I was your age and in an unhealthy relationship too! Like you, I was making all kinds of excuses to stay in the relationship. "We probably won't get married, but I'll learn and grow from staying with him", "Most of the time we fight, but what we have is too good to let go", "I'm crying a lot, but this is making me a stronger person", "I'm learning more about myself being with him" etc., etc.  Those are some of the things I told myself when the relationship was at an end.

I've been where you are. I was in a toxic relationship for over 4 years...2 years longer than necessary. After 2 years I knew that it was over, but I held on and it makes me heart-sick to look back and see that I wasted that time being miserable and insecure instead of being truly happy and building healthy relationships with others more deserving.

You know it needs to end...why prolong the agony?

I also agree with kbella......

mimi...I can understand how you're feeling. Been there, done that!!! Now that I'm 32 and married I can look back at my late teens and twenties and see the mistakes I made. The serious relationships I was in then were tumultuous and filled with insecurity, mistrust, and the fear of being alone. I can't tell you how happy I am that I didn't marry any of my ex's...the man I'm married to now is so incredibly compatible it boggles my mind. While relationships do require some compromise they shouldn't feel like "work". I can definitely feel the difference between those early relationships and my married life.

I'm not sure how old you are...I'm guessing late teens-early twenties...like someone said to me when I was around 20 (and I must admit I didn't like hearing it at the time) you will change...you will get to better know what you need, what you want, and who you are the older you grow.

You know what? They were right.

When the cons outweigh the pros it's time to move on...

Sambason, while you are certainly entitled to your own opinion, I do think you are being a bit rude and should try to stay away from personal attacks. While GI-Jane is frequently blunt, she also puts more time and effort into helping people here than most people can be bothered to, plus she generally has the facts on her side. Like many of us, she is just getting fed up with all the ED posts on what is supposed to be a website dedicated to healthy weightloss.
