| oh thanks i didn't know that. ok so even better, i dread the thought of adding more supplements in to my diet besides what i take now. so that's a sigh of relief on my part.
one thing i know i am horrible at is buying & actually eating fruits. any alternatives to the "fresh" part without hurting my body too much. i would like to consume fruits but the thought of seeing them go to waste after i don't eat them kills me. i need a routine at first to get used to & then i will change up the meal plan a bit. but for now i need the whole monday -cereal etc etc |

| Thank you so much ladies! This friday i will go grocery shopping & take my time to find a lot veggie friendly items. Also, my flaxseed oil. Any particular supplement i should be taking since i am reducing my meat? Besides B-12 that i've heard i need. | |||

| i hate to be the devil's advocate but my problem is the opposite. While i don't look like i am FAT [so they tell me] when i go try on something it can't go below an 11. Now, i have lost weight & i haven't tried on any pants RECENTLY. BUT i know from experience that my hispanic roots don't always work towards my advantage! Some pants won't go over my hips, let alone button once they get there. SO, in the end. Just as long as you feel comfortable it should be OK. I can always opt for a smaller size but emm, i don't like muffin tops. |

| marichi, i completely agree with you. That's why i say, consult a doctor & every one's body works differently. There is no magic pill. However, i agree & disagree with you udokier. Not that it matters what my opinion is. But, there are some pills that are not placebos & they do aide weightloss. Just not the magical way every one wants. Without proper diet and exercise you won't get anywhere. That's why when you see the reviews for some supplements, you read. "this is aweful", "it doesn't work". WHY? well because these ppl expect to drink the pill, get on the scale and WAMMM 2lbs gone! & remember that plateaus work differently for men & women. Women have to deal with PMS & all the great things that come along with it. Not that it's any easier when your a man. BUT we do have extra baggage to deal with. I am merely saying that it's understandable to want an easy way out although i do not condone it. I just beleive that there are much better things we can type on these threads, rather than saying "proper nutrition is not hard to learn". I am sorry, but nutrition was very difficult for me to learn. Maybe i am an idiot & i will admit i am still learning everyday. But it's not easy when there are so many myths out there...drink green tea, don't drink green tea. Drink milk, don't drink milk. blah blah. We're all here for many reasons, not only for help counting calories. We all need support or give support & educate those since we have been in their place. We didn't have a "proper nutrition guide" in our mother's wombs. Otherwise we wouldn't be here. xo |

| Well, I was always the girl with the "older" guys when i was in high school. All the younger kids were very imature & i always dated 18 and up even when i was 16. First of all, the first thing that comes to mind is her parents. What do they think of this. If they disagree one bit, they can make your life a living hell. Including getting you arrested for rape. My parents had a huge issue with it & now i understand why. On the other hand if they agree to a "limited dating" relationship while she's under age. You have to be careful she doesn't want to miss class on the count of being with you. You cannot give in to temptation & go pick her up if she wants to ditch school. I used to be one of those, in love & not wanting to be appart so i would miss school & go to his house. I graduated with honors, but that's not always the case. Just get to know her & make sure you have parental approval. Get it on paper & notarized. I know it seems harsh but your freedom & moral are more important. I am not giving you this advice based on "love", because you don't love her yet. You barely know her & if things go sour, what happens to you? the grown man caught in a scandal with a younger & under age girl. I hope this helps. xo |

| los_angeles, it's very hard to give you tips without having a pic of you to go by.
But as far as an overall tip, a nice mini dress over your bathing suit is always good. If you have a tummy, try a tankinny. If you're ok with your tummy & not with your boobs. A halter should bring them up & out. As far as for bottoms, it all depends on what you're comfortable wearing. |

| okay perfect! thanks, i got a bunch of great tips.
yachtracer1977, i got everything mapquested. Hopefully i'll get to drive. I am going with the in-laws & there's nothing worse than an old hispanic man getting lost. LOL. Other than that, i am going to get some pumas, double up on socks & I already have some scarfs, gloves, & hats. Most of my clothes i got from American Eagle. So hopefully they'll be cozy. They also told me to go to burlington & get some thermal undergarments. |

| Weight Loss | How Did you survive Thanksgiving food!!!! and what did you have for dinner | Nov 26 2007 19:49 (UTC) |

| Thanksgiving was very depressing for me since my husband is not home right now. I was glad that i had family there to help & support me. Since i am taking a diet supplement & it has reduced my appetite i didn't eat much. I ate mashed taters, turkey & 2 servings of salads. My stomach was hurting. I had eaten too much. I didn't gain anything!
Congrats to all of you for doing so well! |

| Your are completely right claire. Wich is one of the reasons that in my posts about hydroxycut i mention that i have consulted a doctor & that my boss used to work for the vitamin shoppe. I make sure that whatever is coming in to my body is not going to kill me. That's why i said that there's no "magic pill" all these people that took epedra that died, they died because they wanted the so called fast results. Sure they got them, but it's not worth it if you're going to just look thin in your casket. Again, i understand. But before we jump out at people for wanting a little help. We should tell them to ask a doctor. We are not doctors, we just have opinions. So why pay for pills? well because sometimes eating healthy and exercising don't do enough for us obese folks. Sometimes, we need that little extra ummph with some supplements. I for one hate green tea, but i take it in my supplements. I know it's good for you & it helps the metabolism. We're not "wasting" money when we get vitamins & supplements to help our joints and health. Sometimes no matter how good the diet is, you don't get the full nutrients you need. Tha's why i like my one a day. etc. |

| Thanks for being so understanding. I am glad that most of agree with my post. I just felt that every time someone has a question everyone just jumps to conclusions assuming that the person asking wants a miracle weight loss. When that is not always the case. | |||

| Weight Loss | weighing yourself | Nov 24 2007 15:57 (UTC) |
3 |
| I weigh myself everyday. I've only lost about 16lbs & i have about 15 more to go.
I love weighing myself every morning & every evening. It doesn't torture me at all. I like to see what my weight is before i eat anything & what it is once i've gone through my day. That way once i weight myself at the end of the week i am not surprised. It actually motivates me to work harder. If i see the scale not moving i work harder at the gym so that at my final weekly weigh in i see a difference. If i DO see a difference in my weight i get motivated to work HARDER. So that i see a bigger difference. It's all will power & mental. You are what you say you are. I make sure i always say to myself " i am a woman of God & i can do anything through christ who strengthens me " I know it's a little religious but it helps. Not only that, but i think of my motivation. I hope to see my husband in December & i hope to see his jaw drop. Good luck every one!!! xo nelli |

| Weight Loss | kids at gyms? | Nov 24 2007 15:51 (UTC) |

| i believe as long as the child is getting the proper nutrition. Going to the gym is ok (very moderate though). I take an intensive dance class & i see 9yr olds taking it with their parents. Although they're not doing the movements correctly, they're still pushing their bodies. I believe 30 mins in a treadmill with a guardian is ok. But i still think going to the park to play is a much better alternative.
I think a lot of parents try to get their kids to release some of that excess energy because they're to hyper. But the gym is not always the answer. Some bonding time at the park throwing a ball or riding a bike is much more fun for them & much more healthy. |

| well more power to you kraka.
it's very hard to find healthy alternatives all the time. I know this first hand. I know the worse is the peperoni pizza. I usually have the hawaiian, but now i have it thin crust. I think one slice 170 cals if you take off the extra cheese. http://dietfacts.com/html/nutrition-facts/dom inos-12-inch-medium-hawaiian-feast-pizza-with -classic-crunchy-thin-crust-with-ham-pineappl 47445.htm i am not a fan of beer so i just have sprite zero. Congratulations ! |

| brandy_m_gray, It's the formula itself that aides the fat burning. The appetite suppresant componets are the green tea, white tea & oolong tea extract ect. It's mostly an all herbal supplement. It will def. help control your appetite but i still eat 5x a day & i still get hungry. I don't feel that it has suppressed my appetite that much. However, so far i went from 152 to 149.8 in less than one week. ssczm30, Everyone is different. I found something that helped me. I have never taken a fat burner or appetite suppressant. My body reacts quickly to those things. That is why caffeine is so bad for me. Caffeine mainly aides in keeping you energized but i don't see any benefits from it at all. So hydroxy cut was my choice after speaking with an expert. You guys are more than welcome to keep track of my journal. I've done it everyday since i started the pill. I am going to try to do it through out my whole experience. I am in no way endorsing this product. What works for me MAY or MAY NOT work for you. xo |

| hey.
yes, it is over the counter. but it's caffeine free. i am usually very very sensitive to fat burners with caffeine. i take them for a day & stop because i know better. i take one a day weight smart for women. usually after lunch so that it doesn't mix with the hydroxycut pills because they're kinda sweet. |
