I used to hate speaking in front of crowds because I could feel my face get hot and red, but now I love talking in front of people, even though I'm still a little nervous.

My school had a Theatre Arts class, but it is one of many connections that the school chooses for you (I can't choose it).  But at the end of this year I can audition to be in Advanced Theatre for 8th grade next year... I want to try it, even though I don't know the first thing about acting, LOL.

I got two books on acting in the library the other day, but they are kind of confusing.  Do you have any suggestions?  And are there any websites for learning about acting?

The only thing I CANNOT do is sing in front of people. I mean my parents have never even heard me sing... I obviously need to build my confidence in that.

I have a lot of questions, LOL.

But I mean what is acting?  How do you be a good actress?

Thanks for the tips!  I'm sure it will help in the near future.  And hopefully my mom will be able to stop bugging me soon.

Ok, now here's another problem... My mom always bugs me about my posture because my shoulders are always hunched over.  It feels awkard to have them straight.  Any suggestions on how to improve my posture?

Thanks!  Did you go to a Pilates place, or did you just do it at home?  How long did you do Pilates for (how many days/hour/etc.)?  I found some old Pilates books that my mom has, and some videos too, even though I don't know if they are any good...

I want to start lifting weights too, so I can get more muscles in my arms for tennis.  Last year I couldn't even do one pushup, but I worked realy hard in the summer, and now I can do some!  The most I've done is 20 in a row... Not perfect but better than 0!

Is Dance Dance Revolution good exercise?  I can play it on a hard level because I've practiced a lot.

Thanks a bunch!

Now to my next subject... LOL.  What are some good things to do to stay active.  I play tennis a lot, but when it is raining I don't have any other alternative exercise because the only thing I know how to do is tennis!  I am also trying to improve my flexibility because I can barely touch my toes )': .

Thanks!  Now what about lunch (to take to school)?  Usually I take a salad, Jello or yogurt, and a Special K Bar or carrots...  But I really want to make it a little different every day!
